Thanks for the video. My Honda crv 2001 automatic will idle and stall when stopping in the red light or intersection. I was trying to replace the IAC valve and I found there is no coolant line connected to my IAC. I am not sure if it’s missed or not. Is it necessary to have the coolant line? Actually my car has serious idle and stall issue when engine is cold. So every time I need to warm up first before driving but now it is getting worse because of stalling at stop. I really like my CRV and it runs no problem when driving. Thank you

You should call this video "installing the air intake manifold" You have the wrong title for your video.

What a pitty you did this video missing the most interesting parts in fixing this common problem of Mercedes C class especially . The most interesting part is how you remove everything and how you install it back not forgetting to rotate the crankshaft to the 52°mark .

I try to solve my 99 crv because motor quites on me whenever it wants to, serveral options for me either replace ignition switch harness or fuel pump relay, or distributor, dig into coil pack, I switch distributor from my 01 crv still rite up, looking into UA-cam a guy replaced fuel pump relay so I did and start rite up

i have a P1508 code (iacv circuit malfunction) however my 01 AT cr-v idles perfectly fine. i replaced the IACV twice and the car is idling as you described if it were broken (code stays). when i put the original old one on it idles normal again. any thoughts?

ummm.... yea.....all that needs to be removed is the air box, lol. The ecu gets moved over a bit, but can stay connected. Takes less than an hour.

Based on the dash and radio, that's not a 2014 Ford edge.

Can you do one motor mount at a time or do have to loosen bolts on all of them before jacking up the motor when replacing them all. I have a 2010 gmc acadia with bad transmission mount but figuring rest are probably bad as well. Thinking about trying to this my self. Will be doing it with jacks and jack stands on my garage floor. Thanks

Just fyi the one you put on is for the 2.0L engine not the 1.6 like the one you pulled off. Good video tho

Can you use a manual transmission IAC valve on a automatic ? The price difference between the two is like $100 more for the auto vs the manual. They both look exactly the same part though. I am trying to replace for 1999 Honda CRV EX AWD 2.0L. Also is yours automatic and do you have link to the new part you used? At all Autoparts stores Advanced Auto Parts, Orielly's, and AutoZone it is $257 or so for the automatic tranny one and like $158 for the manual tranny one. I don't get why the price difference is so much!

The plug has been rigged to fit that's why it didn't have the proper ends

I have the exact car like yours.. Same year,,same mark,,same model,,same size,,same everything Last time I changed the bypass housing hose with the temperature sensor cause of leaking coolant by the engine was overheating.. And it's still overheating of missing water coolant.. I didn't check the thermostat yet

I just replaced the iacv and now the idles jumping up and down between 1 and 2 rpms in a steady rhythm now. What should I do? Put the old one back on?

where does it belong though? Just sits in the bumper? does it have a place to clip it out of the way?
