Great Video! In your opinion do you think it stacks up to the Phantom 4 RTK + D-RTK for survey grade accuracy?
I have the Mavic 3 v1 I wonder if any new firmware updates will be out because of the new E version anyway I wish the zoom on the v1 was half as sharp as the enterprise

Great video. So I assume the Nadir (90o) camera mission is automatically 1 of the 5 you ended up with here....but you can fly them all as 1 mission effectively? The only difference is the software is clever enough to "follow on" to next flight with the next camera angle (45o in your case) automatically!?

does the RTK help with flying connectivity/connect to fly further?
Hi, thanks for the review, I have a question. Can we also use the tele camera of the 3E for planned survey mission. The zoom camera may offer relatively much higher flying altitude so I can avoid power lines etc safely.
I had a lot of issues and even crashed Mavic P2P with Pix4D Capture while mapping rough terrains. For higher ground resolution/accuracy I was forced the fly as low as possible where the drone almost blind flying without proximity sensors which were not supported by the third-party drone control app.

How do u add gridlines?
It's in the settings, you have a few options - centerline, gridlines, diagonals etc.
LOL, it's basically a mavic 2 Pro for 3 times the price. Yes, it can fly slightly longer on one battery, but in the greater scheme of things that is not a big difference for projects. If the RTK module was included in the price, I could almost see it as a somewhat worthy upgrade. The Mavic 2 Pro already has 20MPX, so no upgrade there, in fact this has a smaller sensor 3/4" vs 1" The frames per second won't matter in any realistic mapping scenario since even with 80% overlap you do not need more than 1 FPS. The global shutter, is a nice gimmick, but I never had any problems with image distortion, so it is a remedy for a non-issue.
TLDR: The only real upgrade would be the RTK module which is not included in the box. Thanks DJI, for absolutely effing nothing.

Well, the only thing about mechanical shutter is that you can increase speed and fly larger areas but for the price I prefer to buy two or tree extra batteries on my M2P. I never rely on aereal surveying without GCP anyway.

@@luisdavidescobedovelasquez2528 You can't just magically extract more light from the scene with a global shutter, with the smaller sensor light sensivity might even be worse than on the 2 Pro. So I doubt you can use faster shutter speeds without significant IQ loss.
Micro four thirds sensor is bigger than 1 inch. The mechanical shutter is better for flying at speed so as not to not get rolling shutter. However it only operates at certain light levels like the P4. The P4 has far more cheap apps that gives you far more flexible flight planning without having to go down the UGCS route.
I also use GCPS and a GNSS receiver as it gives me more options
image quality is better than in m3?
No, it only has enterprise features such as RTK module. Camera is similar.
It should be better since M3E have mechanical shutter and 56x zoom capabilities.However, this is mainly for enterprise purposes.
@@samur5256 Colors are better of the regular M3 imho. Mechanical shutter only provides better photo quality when shooting a lot of photos during an interval period. For regular photos the E isnt better. The telecamera is similar.
Canot take any video format (even for fun) from Mavic 3E, no orbit, or spotlight/active track..only if you are in mapping for orthophoto, even difficulties with white balance, archaic software..A bit disappointed how someone is underestimating ,engineers and disabling some features on camera..dont understand but hope that DJI will update a firmware for this dron.
You cannot inspect anything with 56x zoom...or 25x.... Inspections need crisp image, not that super pixelated one.
At 7x optical zoom can be done.

I love DJI PRODUCTS, but for 5k or 7k I think they should have molded the body with carbon fiber instead of the current material Hard plastic …
