- Hey Hello Hi, Today we will be creating one of the most popular mobile games, Subway Surfers, IN SCRATCH!

I'll show you how to use broadcasts to send messages to other scripts, use hitboxes so we can walk on "subways", and the whole shebang.
Scratch is a programming language for kids, developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and it is used by over 60 million children. You can publish awesome games, animations, and stories to the world.

You could also just make a jumper, with player animations so it looks like the player is running, it is way faster.

Just so you know if you have problems with selecting the truck, you can put your cursor on the costume (the editing area) and press crlt/fn + A

Make sure the scripts are connected to If Green Flag Clicked blocks. If they aren't, try sharing your porject using the orange button, copy the URL in the search bar, and reply to this comment with the URL. You'll be able to be helped better.

hey jackson i need help on the hitbox. Im halfway thru ep.02 and when i jump on the truck, i land thru the truck and on the ground. I basically phase thru. Could u help me with this?

I followed the same steps but I’m facing an issue where the truck and the hit box keeps glitching. It kinda have a flash effect from start to end and it’s visible. Please.. let me know of a solution

When I made the truck clones, it started cloning many trucks instead of just one. Do you know how I can fix this?

i know what happned: you forgot the '"hide" before the forever loop

I made it so that the truck would wait from 2-5 secs before making a clone of itself so players would not easily be able to make momentum.
for some reson everytime i jump it just keep on going forever until y 189

The physics thing doesn't work like in yours, I have it identically made like yours, everything, it keeps going from top spot to bottom and it repeats this motion endlessly without needing to push space, so it doesn't necessarily jump, it simply appears again on top and then falls.

I was kinda lazy lazy on this tutorial though, I only spent about 30 minutes with editing. If I had more time i could do sound effects and better transitions.
