You think I can get by with the Ridgid 8inch wet tile saw for the same size tile?
I have to do envelope cuts as well (2’x4’) just don’t wanna buy something too big that I won’t use for a long time.
Since you're in California do you have to pull permits and get inspections for what you are doing?

we soak the wedges in sulfamic acid from Home Depot. Cleans them overnight
4ft by 8ft porcelain sheets are super popular in northern ca bay area. Took 5 guys all day to install 6 sheets.
Prep is that much more important. It takes us 4-5 hours post prep.
So impractical to install but must look great. I think 4 x 2 is big enough 😂
It was a beautiful extremely custom look but the cost material and labor. It was when I worked for BAC UNION u had to be a certified journeyman so minimum hourly rate for each guy was $38 an hour lead guy $42-48 an hour. We had to skin coat and notch entire piece and the wall then vibrate air pockets out. Down rite obnoxious but very rewarding
You do amazing work tho brother thank you for putting it down for all us tile guys. Thank you for showing the world the correct way to install tile. I live in florida now and the level of hackery and in correct installs that fly here are just horrific and down rite dangerouse
