I am also inspired. I am in the middle of an interior design course that is mediocre and as I don't have time to waste, I wonder should I let it go - I only began the course to formally qualify my life's experience and abilities but it's taking too much of my time with with scattered delivery. Ula delivers information in a way that resonates with me - professionally and clear. Good luck.
I have studied Science of Logistics and graduated in 2015 and since that time I work in my field. I have always did a great job and enjoyed my work but I never felt that I am passionate about it and felt that there was something missing. I always loved decorations and interior design, I remember how its joyful for me spending hours redecorating my room and helping friends decorating their homes (sometime it's small changes but it gives an enormous positive energy). After this years I decided to listen to my heart and start at least following my passion. I have enjoyed your video a lot and I have learned dozens of very useful information. Thank you

@@xosco77 Please Google degree courses for interior design. I'm 25 years old. I had an ambition to become an interior designer and my parents suggested me to do a degree in hotel management. And after completing the degree I got a job. And after a few months I forced to quit the job. Later I worked as a sales executive for an interior firm. Now I'm working as a sales executive for a building material shop. From there I got clients who need someone for their interior works. That's how I got my first work. I didn't know how to design interiors. But I knew someone who do interior works (carpenters) , so I used to be a contractor and make designs with carpenters. That's how I planned. But it didn't work out. They've given work to someone. I never quit. I continued my job as a sales executive. And last month I got a client who came to the shop I work and asked me, "Do you know anyone who do interior work nearby?", I asked the details about the work. And he said it's a renovation of a table in their office. They have a timeline and that's going to end by tomorrow. And tomorrow is Sunday. And I said wait, I do have workers and I do interior works based on contracts (but really I didn't have any workers and I didn't complete any project at that time). And I called a carpenter who purchase material from my shop and we went to the site. And I prepared a quote, got my 50 percentage of money from there as advance. I finished the work on time. Client is happy. I never thought I could do any renovation work in my life as a project. Now I'm planning to learn interior design and softwares. I write this just to understand that if you're so passionate in something that you want to become, it doesn't matter if someone stops you and force you to make what they want you to become, if you still have that passion in you, at some point you will become what you're wished. Guide your parents. They have nothing to lose. But you have your career. All the best.

I am suffering from ADHD.. Always suffring from unability to organize my things and always lose my objects.... Always have ideas in my brain but totally unable to make it real... One day in quarantine i was watching program about interior design in netflex O I really love it and feel if i were them I just imagine I had studied pharmacy in my college and hadn't work because of marriage and kids But i hope to start with you and find if i will be good in it

I am 57 years old and would like to change my career and enjoy the remaining by study CAD for interior Design but need to have an overall understanding of what is required as an interior Designer and your youtube seems to high light a lot of things that will be faced in the industry that is not flagged up by those teaching the subject. I'm currently a first-year interior design student, and your videos have helped me so much! I was wondering, in your interior design classes do you teach how to do perspective drawings and elevations? I'm struggling with those mainly perspectives, and my teachers aren't very helpful.

I am 57 years old and would like to change my career and enjoy the remaining by study CAD for interior Design but need to have an overall understanding of what is required as an interior Designer and your youtube seems to high light a lot of things that will be faced in the industry that is not flagged up by those teaching the subject. I am I too old to make that change?

Hi Karabo, the best tips I can give you are all included in my Beginner Interior Design course. For example, as well as teaching you how to draw plans and elevations I teach you how to put together a portfolio. You’ll learn how to do it step by step even if you don’t have any projects yet (filling it up with the exercises from the course). I also show you how to create it page by page and even how to print it! You’ll also see examples of my own portfolios - the ones which got me jobs in the top London interior design companies. Think of the advantages you’ll have over the others…
