OMG: EVERY SONG on this ENTIRE ALBUM is a MASTERPIECE!!! SO GLAD to have seen you-guys ENJOY THIS ONE!!! THANKS, YA'LL!!! Paul Rodgers ALWAYS seemed to hit the "sweet spots" and the musicianship in this band is SO GOOD!!! WHAT a GREAT PAIRING THESE GUYS WERE!! THANKFUL for the music put-out while I was growing up!! WHOOOOOO!!!
That was a great reaction guys definitely thank you Randyyyyyy😂 for turning wolf Hunters on to this band the library is extensive I first heard my bad company song in 1974 go down there Rabbit Hole you will not regret it try silver blue and gold try burning Sky one of my favorites just a real funky beat Paul Rodgers clearly in my top five singers thanks for spreading the music around❤
This is a timeless song. As a 66 year old, I've heard this song thousands of times and it just doesn't get old. Thank you both for your "fresh" first time reaction. I love all the drops. : )
I am almost 45, and when I discovered this song in my 20’s, it’s never left any playlist on any device I own. I don’t even like most music like this, but some songs, they just get you and you are hooked.
The unmistakable vocals of Paul Rodgers.Brian Johnson(ACDC) said he had a voice like velvet chocolate, with a dash of whiskey. Two Bad Company song suggestions;Feel Like Making Love, and my favourite Shooting Star. That's why they call him "The Voice " Travis and Suzie.I loved the look on your faces.Great reaction.
The word is sexy. This is their anthem. There are MANY classic Bad Co tracks. I would need to see what you’ve reacted to. Mick Ralph’s fat guitar tone, Bozz on bass and the pocket drumming of Simon Kirk, just hits you deep in the gut. Them and The Faces are my favorite bands, bar blues sound. Real and raw. No fancy shredding or falsetto vocal gymnastics. Love it. …so you mostly listened to the secondary lineup, 80’s version, no Paul Rogers or Mick Ralph’s. I would suggest Ready for Love…originally a Mott the Hoople song, VERY different as Mick Ralph’s sang lead and their was a bridge sung my Mott’s lead singer and was left out of the vastly improved Bad Company version. Honestly, the entire first album is perfection. Rock Steady is badass track. It’s super raw, and you can tell that Paul Rogers was pushed to the limit. I like that it’s not perfect, that’s rock and roll baby. I personally love Deal with The Preacher from the second record. It’s a deep cut, but it’s really a great track and I feel will impress you. Also Running with the Pack, title track of their excellent third record. It might be my favorite record of theirs. Live For the Music is a track I personally can relate to…followed by Simple Man ( not the Skynard track ). I wish you could do those two in one reaction, as they run together on the album. You’ll see a lot of Shooting Star requests, great story telling. You have to know Feel Like Making Love, if not, it’s a classic off the second record. Good lovin’ Gone Bad starts off the second record with a bang…er. Man, so many great tracks from this excellent group.
I saw them live for the album after this one "Burning Sky" in the 70s with the band "The Outlaws"! So, it was Bad Company and The Outlaws in St. Petersburg, Fl. Wow, what a concert!
A generations anthem. If you were in your teens during the time this album came out and Nugnets stranglehold. How many young people had this on constantly.
One afternoon during my teenage years back in the 70s, I was listening to Nugent's Double Live Gonzo album and had the speakers connected to a guitar amplifier. My dad was mowing the lawn and could plainly hear me listening to 'Wang Dang Sweet Poontang' in my bedroom .... he was not amused. 😂🤣
I vividly remember, sitting around a lake campfire with friends in 1975, with this release playing on the "music box". Was such a great time to be a teen-ager.
Great song. Personally, my favorite Bad Company song is Rock Steady off the same album. Ready for Love, Can’t Get Enough, Live for the Music, Simple Man, Deal with the Preacher, Evil Wind, Wild Fire Woman, Good Lovin Gone Bad and deep cut Leaving You are my favorites. I left off a few of their more popular, partly due to being overlayed like Feel Like Making Love, Rock and Roll Fantasy, Burning Sky and three very popular ones (Shooting Star, Run with the Pack and Seagull). A couple ballads like Silver Blue and Gold and Crazy Circles are excellent too.
Paul Rodgers, the UK’s greatest Rhythm and Blues vocalist, “BAR NONE” . His Muddy Waters cover album “ Muddy Waters blues” is a must have and rare. Download “Best of Free” and just let yourself be seduced.
I saw live in 1977. After Running With The Pack came out. Bought a concert tshirt in the parking lot. Yes, out of their cars. It had a gold marijuana leaf on the back. Mom was not happy. My Dad a retired Police Chief just smiled.
I had the great opportunity to see Bad Company twice, back in the 70’s after I was discharged from the military. They are only a few that stands out, along with the GREAT BOB SEAGER!❤❤❤😂😂😂!!! USA
One of the two times I got to see Paul Rodgers live, was at Woodstock '94, with Slash, Neil Schon, Andy Fraser, & Jason Bonham. Maybe the next best thing, to having been old enough to actually see "Free", when Fraser played with P.R..
Love me some Bad Company .... Great band with a ton of great songs. They are in my top 5 bands all time. "Feel Like Making Love" is my favorite and also like the live version of "Simple Man" (at Wembley)
Right on brudda excellent choice. I first saw them in Austin Texas with Joe cocker and ZZ Top. They don't have concerts like this anymore Great time to be growing up. ❤
Agree Paul Rodgers is great. Mick Ralph's lead work is also great - his style with that slow, wide vibrato, has heavily influenced my own guitar playing. Suggested: "Can't Get Enough" and "Movin' On". Also suggest Mott The Hoople (album Mott) with Ralph's guitar work there. Given, you'll get Ian Hunter's vox and not Rodger's, but there are some powerful stories in those songs: "All the Way from Memphis", "I Wish I'd been Your Mother" - that one is a tear jerker
Y'all. I was at work one night on a production line with a dude and I said I wish they would play bad co by bad Co and it came on the radio. Rip Lee Millsaps.
Paul Rodgers was Ronnie VanZant's favorite, and the first singer Lynyrd Skynyrd's remaining members asked to front The Rossington-Collins Band. But he already had a year's obligation touring at the time and refused, leading to Dale Krantz getting the job.
No Bad Company without Paul Rogers, in my opinion. They didn't even sound like Bad Company musically anymore after Paul. They sounded more like Dokken or something... just another dime a dozen '80s band.
@@jackgilchrist If you like 80's, as many people do including me, that's the songs you should listen to. Already enough Bad Company fans recommending the others.
The wild thing is, Bad Co is a band from the UK,and yet their music sounds more like American rock. Bad Company is my favorite song from them, but they have a lot more songs you should check out. Their song Electricland is another one of my favorites. Lead singer Paul Rodgers....to me, his voice ranks up there with Steve Perry (Journey) and Lou Gramm (Foreigner). Like I said before, although they are from the UK, Bad Co has been somewhat " Adopted " as American rock because of their sounds.
This is a great one however Shooting Star is really one of their best. Rock Steady is probably my favorite. Mick Ralphs is the guitarist who is criminally under rated.
Bad Company, Boston, Triumph, Eagles, Journey, Foreigner, Def Leppard… omg I could go on but these types of bands are the background of my youth. I wish there were more bands like Shinedown and 3 Doors Down nowadays. This is music with feeling and talent. We don’t have much of that anymore…
Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices rock n roll has ever heard. He can also sing some of the best blues you ever heard. Dude is just a beast and has been beltin' em' out for close to 50 years. One of the very best.
Paul and the Group, NOT in The R&R Hall of Lame. One of the finest vocalist in contemporary music history, and a foundational 70’s Rock Group with a Catalog to back it up. They should have been in more than 25 yrs ago. We used to drop a needle anywhere on their albums and jam…. ✨
I noticed this , no one really picked what song of bad company should be played next , because it doesn't matter which one you choose next , once you start naming songs to play next , the list doesn't stop till you though the complete library of thiers . Crazy circles will be played at my funeral.
This whole album is a masterpiece
Have many Bad Company albums. Love them all. 60yrs old have listened to them for many many years.
This was the first album I ever bought.
@@vespoint Really. My very first single i bought was My Friend Stan...
Slade. Fantastic artists back in the day. SRV one of my favourites.
Fifty years burning down the road, and I still get chills...
And those drum fills...
I understand I was 18 at the time too

Paul Rodgers has the best voice in rock EVER! He is also playing the piano!!
Saw them twice in Birmingham UK about 50 years ago. They still rock!
Every bar-band in the '70's played these songs. You could count on it! "Often imitated, never duplicated"!
You really should make it a point to sit down and listen to this whole album. It's one of the tastiest classic rock albums of all time.
Omg Bad Co. Was bad azz! Great rock band
.. so underrated and yes amazing vocals, guitars ..everything!❤
They were huge in the 70's. Just straight forward Rock 101.
Silver, Blue, & Gold
I,ll be creepin
Excellent choice 👍
In 2018 I saw the singer Paul Rodgers in concert. He’s still got it. He has an effortless way of singing.
Lead singer Paul Rodgers also fronted the bands Free, the Law and the Firm. Kick-azz voice, one of the best in the "biz".
✌️😎
You forgot to mention he briefly took Freddie Mercury's place for Queen.

Bad Company had many many hits.
Shooting Star
Rock and Roll Fantasy
Sky is Burning
Many Artists of the era, when asked who would lead their super group, chose Paul Rodgers by a wide margin. He's the rock singers singer so to speak.
"Bad Company" isn't a band, and it isn't a song, it's a way of life.
Yea bad company alright....the Dems

Paul Rogers, Lou Gramm, Steve Perry, are some of my favorites.
Good picks
Listen to 'FREE', Paul Rodgers in his early days before Bad Company...
Both Paul Rodgers and the drummer, Simon Kirke, were also in Free. Try Free, Wishing Well.
So many great songs from these guys shooting star, silver blue and gold , can’t get enough are three that come to mind
I'm 71 now, but I saw them sing this in concert when it was new. Tickets cost eight dollars.
Another great band too many don't remember. NEXT - "Rock and Roll Fantasy" my favorite

One of the five best rock vocalists in rock history.
I saw them live for the album after this one "Burning Sky" in the 70s with the band "The Outlaws"! So, it was Bad Company and The Outlaws in St. Petersburg, Fl. Wow, what a concert!
He and Ann Wilson have the best, most pure rock voices ever, imo.
Paul Rodgers has the best rock voice ever,
Best best voice ever.
One of them for sure…him, Billy Gibbons, Tom Petty, and Axl Rose are PURE rock n roll
Axl sucks . Bob Seger baby!
Sorry but Ronnie and Robert Plant
@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808 Axl Rose lol

If your your going to go on a Bad Company binge you have to listen to Feel Like Making Love and Shooting Star.
Paul Rodgers vocals are amazing..
I bought this album back in high school in the seventies on 8-track.
that makes 2 of us.

@@davidgreer4615 That makes 3 of us.
Yes my fav!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This album is about real man
One of Paul’s finest vocal performances. Probably better then all right now ? There was a reason Jimmy Page was so keen to sign them.
The Firm's two albums with Paul and Jimmy Page, stellar.
Yes, both excellent albums. His later album under 'The Law' was very good also.
Damn, the song makes you feel like a bad ass just listening to it!
You kids should go through their catalog. !!!!!

😁 Nice !! If you haven’t already, checkout Bad Company doing their song “Rock Steady”. Pretty cool song😉👍
One of the two times I got to see Paul Rodgers live, was at Woodstock '94, with Slash, Neil Schon, Andy Fraser, & Jason Bonham. Maybe the next best thing, to having been old enough to actually see "Free", when Fraser played with P.R..
Electric Land is an amazing Bad Company song. There's a live version and Paul Rogers voice still sounds incredible in his late 60's at the time.
Yes Travis it is my fav bad co track I grew up on this kind of music and still have the vinyl in the cuboard tnx for getting into some older stuff
Thanks for the trip down memory lane✌🏻😎
Love me some Bad Company .... Great band with a ton of great songs. They are in my top 5 bands all time. "Feel Like Making Love" is my favorite and also like the live version of "Simple Man" (at Wembley)
The voice of the great Paul Rodgers.
There was just sooo much music back then, I would suggest Grand Funk Railroad they also kick a lot of ASS!
Paul Rodgers is, I think, definitely one of Rocks' best lead vocalists! Great band, great song!
Thiers a Great Live version from Tampa Florida

Paul Rodgers is frequently referred to as the best Rock singer. (Your favorite vocalist's vocalist) Bad Co was one of the very early Super-Groups.
I was 15 when that song hit the charts, it was playing on all our record players, al so. Bill
There was just an absolute avalanche of music from 1970 to 1980!
One of the best rock band🤘
Listen to Bon Jovi “Blaze of Glory”. Right after this. I suspect there was a bit of an influence
Y'all. I was at work one night on a production line with a dude and I said I wish they would play bad co by bad Co and it came on the radio. Rip Lee Millsaps.
