I was a teenager in the 70s. At high school we all swapped our LP records with each other. Everyone had different records by different artists, so we ALL got a good sampling and grounding in 70s Rock. We had a 40 year reunion in 2017 and I flew to South Africa from New Zealand to attend. I kept on walking around the room talking to different guys and listing the records they had and we swapped. There was lots of laughter and memories and was one of the best nights of my life. The 70s is truly the greatest era for Rock music.
I agree the studio version is so much better ..don’t understand why you guys always pick a live version of a song that you haven’t heard yet.. not the same quality .. just not the same …just a suggestion. I would listen to you more if you did that😎
True story. When I played in a Praise band, we played this as the Pastor walked up to preach a lesson on Sex and marriage. We played "let's get it on" as the after service walkout. As the lead guitarist it's such a fun song to play.
I think sometimes (I know you’ve heard this before) the live versions do not give the songs justice at all. Paul Rodgers is one of THE BEST voices of rock. He actually sang lead with Queen after Freddy passed away. Bad Company is one of the best, this live performance was not a good representation of their work. But, I get what you’re saying. I think it’s the lyrics more than the delivery with this one ( for PDC qualification)
Check out Free performing Mr Big. The singer and drummer in the band were in Free before this. Not PDC, but a great performance. As others will say, after Queen decided to perform again, Paul Rodgers sang with Queen. But he is best known for Bad Company. You should try more Bad Company.
Has she done Black Coffee by Humble Pie? The live one, from the old TV show (Old Grey Whistle Test?).That's prob PDC territory. Smokin vocals by Steve Marriot!
Britt, a new artists/genres for you, 1. Keb Mo' - try "Tell Everybody I Know" or "She Just Wants to Dance" as starting points. Then jump into Tom Waits, start with Heart Attack and Vine, Tom is VERY unique.
The lead singer of Bad Company, Paul Rodgers has been said to have one of THE best voices in Rock! This band is fantastic! This is a deep rabbit hole you could go down. They have sooooo many great songs! Ready for Love, Movin On, Rock N Roll Fantasy, Shooting Star, Bad Company and many more!!!! Im do glad i got to see these guys in concert many years ago!!! Maybe one of the other songs will hit that PDC mark for you. Maybe the actual song Bad Company!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was one of Bad Company's best songs, along with Shooting Star, that one is sad at the end. But for something PDC worthy, take a listen at two songs by my favorite R&B group, the Whispers, namely Are You Going My Way, and Do They Turn You On.
Hey Britt. This is one of my favorite bands. Singer has a very bluesy voice. He sounds good live too. Ive seen them in Detroit. On a personal note, I didnt get that # before it disapeared but I was also scared cause I knew I made you mad 😤 and I luv ya and didnt want you to kick my ass
Britt It doesn't matter to me if you want to drop your panties to this song. I just hope you like it. Ain't judgin' just ask my Mom she'll tell ya I don't do that. lolol
That is because you are listening to a crappy version of this song. Listen to studio version of everything. Live recording ruin so much because they are not to be what you listening to. Do it again. This is the wrong version.
Paul Rodgers had one of the best rock voices ever! He is great in the band Free also

The only band Led Zepplin ever signed to their Swan Song label, and B.C. gave us 4 very good, raw rock and bluesy sounding LP's.
The studio version is so much better !!!!!
Yeah I agree. Sounds so much better has a lot more power in the engineering
@@LordVader66 Exactly! This was a weak version! She reacted to wrong one !

There’s a UA-cam of this song with scenes from 9 and 1/2 weeks. It’s the perfect backdrop for this song.
Well when you don’t know you don’t know. I’ll still will listen Brit
The song def builds to a climax :D

Thank you for what you give, Britt. And be only you when listening to music.

Probably my favorite Bad Company song is shooting star.
I think they may have chosen it for content and not hotness. You need to listen to Rock Candy by Montrose, That will make you tingle.
If you haven't yet you should listen to Miracles by Jefferson Starship~
The album version, not the single.
The long version for sure, needs to be the studio version though.
Has she done Black Coffee by Humble Pie? The live one, from the old TV show (Old Grey Whistle Test?).That's prob PDC territory. Smokin vocals by Steve Marriot!
Should have done the studio version. It’s very smooth. Check out “For Crying Out Loud,” by MeatLoaf or “Midnight Blue,” by ELO. Studio versions.

the band JORN doing this song is fire

Love the song, love your hair even more Britt 😍
Hoff of the Bangles version live.
Bad company is right up there with Michael Bolton for me ❤❤❤❤

This was written for you
Listen to the original version, a little better. Listen to all the artists that covered it.
Britt, I think you are missing out on this one. The build up to the chorus is so damn sexual.
STUDIO VERSION FAR BETTER NOT EVEN CLOSE
What happens if your hubby comes home and that's playing on his phone? May we don't need to know. Oh heck, yeah, we do.
Please listen to the studio version
It's a very chill song. But I can def see it not being a "panty dropper". You keep doing you!
YES every day ✌💖☮
Britt this was 1975 not 1995 like GNR ... Check out .. Holy water, Burnin sky, Seagull
this band has better songs. But a agree on PDC.
Britt It doesn't matter to me if you want to drop your panties to this song. I just hope you like it. Ain't judgin' just ask my Mom she'll tell ya I don't do that. lolol
Great song and reaction
Album version is better 🤷🏻♂️
The song Bad company by bad company was way better and shooting star
The studio version is 10 times better than this rendition.
For what it's worth, I always thought this song was a lot like good sex. All the tempo changes are winding up to a big finish, if you get my drift
You’ve stopped reacting to Raye.
Nice hair do ❤
I totally agree with you!!!!
🍅🍅🍅 lol
horrible version , why is it so hard to find? lol
