Great stuff, guys, I drove a F250 lariat diesel 14 1/2 hrs straight towing 2 harley's on a trailer from MS to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, loved every minute of the way this truck handled, smooth ride with great power delivery.
I miss my F250. I had the King Ranch. Massaging seats are amazing! Especially on a long ride

Hey guys, FYI in that year the Limited is the higher trim level than the Platinum. Now, for 2024 the highest trim level is the Platinum + is the highest trim. However, the real game changer is that you can get, up to, a 7.2 kilowatt generator in the Ford F series trucks.

My opinion most people buy truck on personal look never function because they use them for family use. Not many people buy pickup for functionality purposes....

I tried to get these guys on board!😂 there is two features on the Chevy trucks that I really like: the camera system (Fords is too restrictive) and part of the GM tailgate gimmick that keeps cargo in the box while the tailgate is down.

I’ll agree with Rob, the old whip antenna’s need to go…. but he definitely did not buy the best truck… the F150 with the 3.5 eco boost is the best pickup out there… BY FAR.

Antennas are definitely a thing of the past! I'm going to check out the hybrid F150. I think that's a better alternative to an all electric
I have the 2019 with the 3.5 eco boost…. Lariat… love the truck, my next will be the same or the hybrid

Cue you guys should check out the 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO model
It's on my list for my next truck (if I decide against going electric). Currently I have a Ford Ranger which is actually good enough for the light duty work that I need it for. After I retire next year, I'm thinking of getting a camper or a toy hauler....that's when I'll need a bigger truck
@@RidingandWrenching Cool yes the TRD PRO model has one of those hybrid engines I believe it’s a 3.4L 6 cylinder and a electric motor putting out 437 hp and 583 pounds of torque at 3,600 rpm … I have a 2017 model TRD PRO 5.7L monster engine

Y'all are not looking at trucks, you're looking at luxury cars with a bed.
If you're shopping for a real truck, you would not discussing the "feel" of the gas cap door, or if the rear seats have a bidet, you'd be discussing how much lumber you can haul or how many deer will fit it the bed.
Y'all are all about fashion, I'm about function and reliability. Trucks are for working, hauling and towing.
For that reason I drive a Tundra with the 5.7 V8.

You can still get a Tundra that's dressed up nicely. I own a Tundra Crewmax with the 5.7 motor as well. I call her my "pretty truck'. When I have work to do, I own an F250 diesel (the one with the "clanky" motor, 7.3) that can do the hard work and if I scratch or dent it, I don't lose any sleep. But yes, the Tundra is a great worker too with the 5.7, I just don't use mine for that its nicely optioned, its my "going out" ride.
Is it just me or did It seem like that lady was told to babysit three grown men to review a Ford Platinum. What they thought, y’all were gonna run off with it ? The way people view and treat us is just disgusting, no matter how successful we are.

I'll take the blame. Although I told her we just wanted to look at the truck (while I clearly had a camera in my hand) I should have been more specific "we are filming a video for UA-cam....etc."
GM actually outsells the F-150 when you combine Silverado and Sierra brands and has for several years. And it’s for a reason, they’re better.

Ford & Dodge quality at an all-time low. GMC slightly better quality although the Ram has the best interior.
I would definitely pick the 2500 GMC over the other brands and no diesel engines. The emissions killed them.
The Toyota Tundra beats them all hands down. Esp the 2018-23 models with the V-8. Not sure about the new twin turbo V-6.
FYI… Dodge no longer makes trucks and hasn’t for almost 8 years. RAM is the truck division of Chrysler/Fiat.
The only reason they aren't called "Dodge" is because the truck division was being prepared to be sold to the highest bidder. The government helped to bail them out. As a result we now have a "Ram" brand. In my old head, it's still a Dodge.
Tundra is the way to go
I like Tundras too. I'm also intrigued by the Tesla Cybertruck
Yep, I have a Tundra and at the end of the day, if you compare the 4 after about 5 years of ownership, the Toyota Tundra will be a shoe-in for the most drama-free. I stick with Toyotas for that reason. Cars or trucks, Toyotas are simply the most reliable. Disclaimer though, I do own an F250 diesel truck too for doing hard stuff I don't want to dent or scratch the very nice Tundra up doing. Although the Tundra has plenty of power for the job with the 5.7 engine.
Rob I have to disagree…ford is definitely not the cheapest, dodge/ram is the cheapest of the 3.
All 3 are expensive! Especially the top trim levels
Yeah. Of course that also depends on the trim level. That Platinum that we were in was cheaper than the Ram and the GMC.
