Amazing catch! One of old TL5 rotator light isn’t on hmm what they do when it was changed to a spare why not fix or upgrade the lighting it’s kinda too dim.
They deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the firemen who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated even by Chicago fd responding great job great team work and great and sweet catches as usual still going strong great team efforts are deeply appreciated thanks stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well much love and respect and appreciation job well done you should be proud great and beautiful looking tower very impressed way to go appreciate you guys thanks keep the vidoes coming thanks !!! Joe
The light bar on the alf eagle cab at the time of manufacture was exclusive to alf....one of the worst light bars ever....in the final years of alf they were discontinued.
Now that TL5 is a spare, people catch it responding. Only a handful caught it when it was actually in service. I think TL5 responded to my house when we had a CO scare. Keep the videos coming!
Great video! Do you know what the difference is between an Ariel tower and a regular ladder company? I know that Tower companies means the rig has a platform.
Ooh nice video. Had no idea Chicago had ALFs. They have had so many different makes of apparatus. The automatic wailer is so weak compared to the EQ! No beating a real Q though.

It’s Chicago’s only Truck with a Q!
Oh wow I didn't even notice that!
I think most spares have the Q siren.
Jesus Mtz negative, it’s either the Motorola Spectra, PA300, or EQ2B.
Not the only. TL63 at O’Hare has one. The old Squad 7 at O’Hare did as well.
Bobcat1Deere2Cat3 o’hare is a different department so this is CFD’s only Q
Great and lucky catch of the spare ALF, but wish they used an EQ or the Q. The lighting on TL10 wasn't really even that visible. Great catch.

Train155 no EQ. Real Q!

Awesome!!!
Beautiful video!!!!!!
Nice catches! Love the ALFs!
Why didn’t they use the q Siren on the truck

The aerial tower is pre-piped
Great catch!
Nice!
I didn't know that the CFD had ALF towers. All the towers I've seen were E-Ones and HMEs. Great catch BTW.
This is the only one
cool!
Saw you out there.. Buff, stop in and say hi next time you’re around.
Ok will do :)
In Florida the thing I see most is a sunstar ambulance so much
😎👍

The twin Hazmat Units (5-1-1 and 5-1-2) are both ALFs too.
@@jer789610 Ooh
That alf is 20 yo
Old E23 is also an ALF but it’s now a spare squad
Terrible lights on the Tower Ladder
Call type?
Division and Larrabee fire station 1200N 600w
ex tower ladder 5
Whelen295hf100 siren 🚨.
Chicago has some old rigs--the overheads on that truck are horrible.
They were exclusive to ALF and you are right! Wished they upgraded the lighting like they did with the Hazmat Units...
