Hollie, whatever concerns you may have had as a new player, I hope you know you freakin kill it each session. You bring a real compelling humanity to your portrayal!
That’s very kind. Still a bit scary but I’m really enjoying it, these few episodes have been intense but Harry and the rest of the team have created a great environment to learn and play in. I do love my grumpy fighter ❤️ - Hollie
@@NaturalSixshe’s the best! I particularly love when I (kobold) brings out a sisterly affection; but then she swirls on Raidion because he’s up to some sort of nonsense. Just great entertainment! 👏👏
@@brianj959 as a group they have such a perfect balance where they bring out all the bring out all the right elements to make each character feel real and relatable. Magical group from top to bottom!
That’s why I love Action Surge so much, the insight is fantastic, as players we’d never have known either. Amazing how much a single decision could have changed everything - Hollie
I wrote my comment for the episode proper after just watching the intro. After having seen all of it (had to have separate sessions due to, you know, life) I just want to say that episode 12 is my favorite so far. The improvised acting/rp-ing in this group is second to none and ep 12 went from moment to moment. A standing applause. What a cast and roarisome (yes, I made up that word) led by Harry. Wow.
I used to play D&D first and second edition back in college. These talks really bring me back to the times I was sitting with my friends from the theatre and elsewhere. Kudos to you all.
I find these kinds of story episodes where you are exploring very important examinations of one character to be quite cathartic. I very emotionally invest in every other character in a DND party so its super exciting when they get their spotlights (and nerve wracking when you get yours).
Yes, less is more ,,,,, Well sometimes. It was great to see how you all supported each other's characters. And let them have there say... And you took time with it.. Great Episode !!!!!!
Oh man, the thought of Dolly actually doing the thing and then the implications of that for her character and also Aoife's role in the show just blew my mind. I'm trying to keep it vague here in case someone's scrolling the comments and hasn't got to that bit yet. Action Surge is so great, giving us these insights into everything.
I am now wondering what happens when the party next encounters Morgan. Will he fight them to the death for the web or help them because they saved his life? Possible recurring villain or playing both sides?
I'd like Morgan to come back. As an Oathbreaker paladin. Mainly cause I think he'd be a perfect 6th party member. He literally held his dead god in his hands. He has a reason to fight against whatever caused this.
Always love to hear your thoughs and I do hope that I (the character not the me) will later get his moment when someone will read him some adventurous child book. Thank you for sharing this wish us and wish you a very lovely day.
I genuinely got chills from Endellion and Dolly at the end of this episode. Especially Endellion. That twist on the Web's passphrase was just perfect.

@@darrellqueen3333 I agree. Love this group and this series!

23:36 - this is such a great insight, it’s the best thing for any player to learn. I might even inform players about this dynamic in future
