For anyone who doesn't get yet.
The writing in the left crash is "Pasti", comes from Paiste, literally means "Certainty/Surely/Definitely". Meanwhile, the one on the right is "Gajian", based on Sabian, lliterally means "Salary/Pay Day".
Both are Indonesian languange, which if the two are combined will have the following meaning:
"Someday it will definitely pay off"

Back in the late 60s my older brother took an old drum Corp bass drum and placed it on the side and built a wooden bass pedal. He then attached coffee cans with plastic lids attached to this bass drum. I believe he altered the openings of the bottoms of the cans to get different sounds. I do not remember what he did for “cymbals”. This would have been when he was 14 or 15. We didn’t have any money. He made it happen. He joined a band with those “drums.” He let his little brother tag along. I’ll never forget them playing “The Letter.” He of course got a real set of drums eventually. But I get where this guy is coming from. There’s no denying your soul if music is in it.

Legendary my man! I would LOVE if you could do a tour of your kit and how you made all of your drums here! I remember making my first "drum kit" using buckets, pots, pans, trash can lids as cymbals, and tinker toys as sticks, so it is really cool to see someone who has taken the idea of a homemade kit using what you have on-hand to the absolute limit. And it sounds fantastic!
Whenever you do get the well-deserved sponsorship from some drum maker out there soon and get on a real kit, please never get rid of this kit you have now! I'm sure you are planning on keeping it anyway, but it really is incredible how you have mastered these songs that so many drummers would claim couldn't be done unless you have a super nice, really big Neil Peart drum kit. You've got it in you my man. The minute you get on a real kit is the minute you fully blossom into the masterful drummer that is definitely inside you and take it to an even greater level. I couldn't say enough kind words about how awesome you are dude. Super cool! Let's see a kit tour!
