Mescalero had a huge huge bomb fire with camping right off hwy70 before the summit ,,not sure what they where celebrating..the fire was so so huge..could that be a start of one of the fires?.how it happened is not what needs focused on right now..just that people are ok and taken care of. I grew up in Ruidoso, it's so so sad .God help all that need it .keep the first responders and fire crews and fighters safe...

I feel for you. We went thru this here at Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon 2 years ago here in New Mexico. Our wildfires went on for months here.
