New accounts on Cod 4 and WaW can save progress! It’s only BO1 and MW2 that reset after each session for PS3. As for MW3 and BO2 they are unplayable with new accounts. Don’t take this the wrong way but having misinformation out there on a dying game is super detrimental to the game’s longevity. I hope more realize that you can play through the ranks on COD 4 and save your progress!

You CAN play BO2 on a new account. I forgot the steps so don't follow this step-by-step but you sign out of PSN, boot up BO2, go into Online, go to private match, start it for a few seconds, end the game, sign into PSN and THEN you can play it normally.. with your progress not saving of course.

I'm calling it now, 2022 and 2023 will be the revival of 7th gen gaming.. assuming Sony doesn't pull the plug for the servers.. Thanks for still making videos on these old games, I'm sure if we got enough people to annoy Sony about fixing the server issues, we can get all the CODs working. Activision, Treyarch, and InfinityWard have all stated that it's not their problem, it's Sony who broke everything. You CAN play BO2 with a new account, there is a tutorial out there and honestly isn't that complicated. Sony can rollback your PSN ID for free if you changed it, so you can play all the CODs again in the meantime.
I doubt the 7th gen will get a mass spike in popularity unless sony were to make these games backwards compatible like how Microsoft did with their newer systems. 7th and 6th gen are my favorites i dont give a shit about 8th or 9th they've done nothing for me so far. My only complaint? No trophy support for the PS3 version of MW 2007. I have a feeling the Xbox 360 version's online is still up as MW 2007 is backwards compatible on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. If I recall correctly, all the achievements for MW 2007 on Xbox 360 were single player focused.
Trophy support would have been fantastic. I'm not sure why after trophies were required from all games, why they didn't have developers go back and add them in (at least for popular games)

I can understand stuff like Legendary and Turok 2008 not receiving trophies, but not freakin MW. Well, the PS4 remaster that launched in 2016 with Infinite Warfare had trophies at least. And MW reboot 2019 had only single player focused trophies to Platinum the main trophy list. A nice throwback to MW 2007's achievements.
I personally see it as a good thing, since a lot of older online games for 7th Gen consoles are either shut down or have low player base. And for online games, getting all the trophies would be a total pain in the ass to get, especially now days.
for anybody wondering with new accounts CoD4, World at War, CoD Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and Black ops 3 are completely fine MW2 and BO1 your stats don't save MW3 You are unable to play multiplayer online And then Black Ops 2 there is a bypass and I think your stats save aswell Idk if theres any problems with CoD Classic or CoD3, I do have CoD C for ps3 though

You can save progress with a new account on B02! Just make sure you boot up the game signed out of psn, load up a local match. You gotta play that local match for at least 30 seconds, end the game and then click play online. It should then connect you! You only need to do this once per session, for example: I do this and I connect online, as long as I don’t send sign out of psn you can play as long as you want until you close the game. Just make sure you do the exact same thing for zombies if you wanna play that. I’ve made the mistake of switching my game mode still signed in and it freezes, so when you switch make sure you’re signed out. I hope this helped you guys.

I wanted to revisit this game on my PS3 tonight for old time sake. For some reason though I get no audio. All the other games are fine, just this one; the game volume is all the way to the top… anyone else is having this issue?
i think the reason why xbox is dead if you see the old cod games because when microsoft do the backward compatible thing on xbox one they f@cked up the matchmaking in almost every cod, on xbox peoples still play but they waiting or they find people on discord, when i purchased a 360 again the matchmaking was good this is around maybe 2018 or 2019 and i played cod 4 to bo2 all the 6 cod's but after the matchmaking is ruined i just go to ps3 (i was able to find an old account)

Made some good friends playing cod4 on 360. We rarely all play games together these days.
