Tim sings those high notes.....then speaks in his bass😄
I 🤣 at that as well.
And he makes it seem so easy!!
I agree that this song radiates happiness.
Tim's range is incredible
5 octaves is the buzz ❤
I love that out of a power tenor, one of the highest tenors in a cappella, and one of the lowest basses in a cappella, they went with the bass to cover the high harmony.
This is fantastic. You can see how much they’re all enjoying themselves. I just want to give credit to the song’s original artist, BW Stevenson, 1973. That’s the one that I know and love.
Yeah. I agree. I don't even know if I've heard Brooks and Dunnes version
But i had to go give BW another listen. This one is great still prefer the original. And i love Home Free
Always enjoy your reactions! - Sebastian burned his hand in a kitchen fire shortly before I saw these guys play in Wisconsin for a veterans fundraiser. He was still able to play and glad to hear he is doing better. REALLY like this version of the song. Amazing what Tim can do up high. Many who are not familiar with HF/Tim will miss how incredible it is unless they listen to the talking at the end to hear his natural voice. I thought they would sneak one bass drop into the song to show his range, but it probably wouldn't fit the song. Well done as always.
Austin Browns voice cuts through everything - it's just so god damn good. Plus my man rocks that beard. Great job boys.
The three of them sound really good together. Could make a good group.
So glad they do side stuff that allows them freedom but get back to Home Free. Probably helps with burnout being just Home Free.
I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. But then as soon as he speaks you can hear his low tone. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home.
This is how I know you haven't seen Mayday. And aren't ready to.
I expected Austin to sing the high notes. What a surprise to hear Tim sing that high.
AMAZING PERFORMANCE! SO MUCH FUN! TIM AND HIS HIGH NOTES! AUSTIN LOWER! CHRIS CHATHAM'S HIGH NOTES AND HIS AMAZING GUITAR PICKING! NICE SEEING JENIKA 'S BROTHER CHRIS MARION AND SABASTION,OF COURSE EVERYONE IS AWESOME! FUN TIME AND LIFT'S ME UP! THANK YOU LYLE! WOULD YOU PLEASE CHECK OUT
AUSTIN IN "TEARS IN HEAVEN"
& ADAM CHANCE IN "DRIVER'S LICENSE & " SONG FOR HOME"
❤️😀🍟🔥
Awesome! Really unusual to have two others on stage singing higher than Austin and one of them the bass. Great reaction thanks for sharing. Love these upbeat, make me smile songs.
I've heard the original by B.W. Stevenson a million times, but this version definitely has it beat for me. This cover makes me happy too and it's always stuck in my head now
Ahhhhh, I knew you'd love this & do the replay! It IS incredible. How often do we see & hear Tim singing higher than Austin?!
He sings that high, then he talks...😳🤯🤣
This is beautiful! 🥰
Love that Tim was singing higher than Austin!! They are all so freaking talented!!!!❤
I just love seeing Chris C. He is so talented! Good to see Jenika’s brother playing the acoustic electric guitar. They all nailed I.
The B&D version was a decent cover of the excellent B.W. Stevenson original from '73. Ah but as is often the case these rascals have created a new definitive version.
Btw, didja notice the bass player's last name? Sound familiar?
As always, great reaction. I love that you go right ahead and play em twice, or more on occasion. Keep up the good work young feller.
I only know the BW Stevenson version before this. Home Free is the only country I listen to and that's only because they do some country covers.
@@brendagrothier967 Same here, country is just one out of the many kinds of music I've enjoyed playing and hearing over the decades but in the 90s I was playing and listening to jazz more than anything else so I just didn't notice the B&D cover when it came out. Now listening to Home Free I've come to appreciate a great many things I had missed before as well as their new definitive version of favorites old and new.
I only found out recently that B&D wasn't the original but it did come out 11yrs before I was born so maybe that's why.....but I don't know
@@saremile Kids these days eh? That was 18 yrs after I was born so I remember it well.
Great way to start my day!! 71 year old with multiple music degrees & a nurse! How about that?..and I love all genres of music… my patients get a good dose of music and also introduced to you ….You’re the best, Lyle (Charlotte, NC USA)
I have listened to it over and over and over. Has always been a fave of mine since B &D released it. But then when I saw this and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Goosebumps everywhere!!! The intricacies of the harmonies on this version blew my mind. Then Tim doing the high lead was astounding. This man's vocal range blows my mind. Austin was outstanding as always. And props to Chris Chatum also. Dang!!!! I want a recorded version of this group singing this. I am one happy camper tonight. So glad that you are here to do the reaction of this Patrol Gaming.
I absolutely love this song and I love their cover of it.
Tim has a legitimate 5 octave range and it all sounds good.
This is my latest obsession.. love love love this. So weird to have a "bass" player when you have Tim, huh? As is stated below, the bass player is Jenika's brother.. Tim's brother in law.. such a talented family! Have you seen Austin and Friends with Jenika? .. Signed Sealed, Delivered? Another good one! Thanks!
Thanks for reacting to this song. It is so beautiful with Tim bringing out his high tenor and Austin going lower. Of course, Chris Chatham such a great singer and guitarist. Both Chris Marian and Sebastian on guitar and keyboard. Really appreciate you listening to it twice. Made it a little bit more fun. Thanks.
Sorry to hear that work made you miss the premiere, but I’m so glad we got this reaction video. This is a great performance, one of my favorites from Austin’s channel. Confession: when it comes to Home Free or Austin Brown, I have Lots of favorites!
Made me smile the Whole Time …..love Tim’s high range…Awesome 🥰🙃🔥‼️…….Damn….the 3 of them singing is 🔥🥰🔥🥰‼️…& love Tim’s shirt, LOL…I have it 😋🥰🔥‼️
you know what's funny, idk if this was planned but tim is wearing austin's shirt while singing in his range
Happy musicians lead to happy ears. haha. They look like they are having a ball. Thank you for sharing.
Really good! Versatility, thy name is Tim! Loved the guitar too.
I didn't care for the original but love this version
Awesome! I would like them to perform a second song together, the result is so great! 😍🔥
The song was co-written, and originally performed by B. W. Stevenson, in 1973. It reached #9 on the Billboard Pop charts, and #1, on the Adult Contemporary charts. Brooks and Dunn took it to #1, on the Country charts, in 1996. Great reaction.
I heard Sebastian had burned his hand. Thankfully it isn't compromising his wonderful playing!
It was such a fun song, it was great to see them having fun together doing what they love. Fantastic reaction, man! Keep up the great content!
What a great version of this song-haven't heard it in a minute. So much talent!
This performance makes me so happy too! They look like they’re having fun! ♥️☮️
Awesome harmonies, as always. Chris C. fits in perfectly. I have never heard crickets that loud. Unbelievable.
Lol! They are cicadas, not crickets.
@@chrismorin1318 thank you for correcting me. We do not have them over here in Germany.
Tim Foust showing off that UNBELIEVABLE Range he has. AUSTIN Was great as usual. I loved this! WOW! TIM FOUST, WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO!!!
GREAT song to Texas Two Step to ! Hey Lyle, just am AWESOME performance. Yes this is a cover but Austin was mistaken, as BW Stevenson did it 1st in 1973, and it climbed all the way to 9 on the pop charts. The bass player is Tim Foust's real life brother-in-law, Chris Marion, brother of Jenika Marion Foust, Tim's wife ! From what I read, he hurt it with a fire. He'll be fin but it will take time to heal.
I love this song by Brooks and Dunn but I believe I love this more. Thank you for your playing it twice.
Chris Chattam collaborates with Tim on a lot of his original music. Chris Marion is his wife's brother.
If I could afford a backyard concert, I would do it in a heartbeat. ❤❤❤
Thank you for the Reaction! What did you think about Tim and Austin Switching roles. Tim carried the High lead and mid to high harmonies while Austin did the low leads and low harmonies. Wild the the Tenor and Bass can switch places, not many other vocalist could pull that off with such ease. Chris Chatham is a childhood friend of Tim's and Chris Marion is Tim's Brother-in-Law, while Sabastian has done several other collaborations with Austin. Amazing song, and a lot of talent!!!
Will say first up when keyboard player first starts. I paused and went to open my front door thinking it was my door bell lol. Oh but what a treat this is....great foot tapping song. Loved the guy on guitar too. Tim's amazing and don't he and Austin sound so good together....thanks Lyle glad you got back to reacting to this one.
I have to admit, when the keyboard came in with those early bell tones I wasn't sure I liked it. Now that I've heard it a few times, I really like it. Sometimes my mind resists change even when I know that these guys will never steer me wrong! I about had a fit when I heard what they did to Ring off Fire on the Sing Off, and now I love it! 🤣
I love this. It was originally done in ‘73 by Stephenson. Brooks and Dunn did a cover too. Yeah, to hear Tim go that high live is something and then when he talks he’s in the basement. Crazy good. I think Sebastien burned his hand. Chris (on acoustic guitar) is a friend of Tim’s. Chris and Tim wrote Land of the Free. Chris on the bass guitar is Tim’s brother in law. Wouldn’t it be fun to live in Austin’s neighborhood? You would be hearing little mini concerts all the time. Good reaction PG!
It's very good
Great music, great reaction. Good to see you Patrol Gaming.
Really loved it!
Even the only guitar player not singing! The best cover yet!!
This was shot on Austin's deck... I don't know about you guys, but I just want to be one of the neighbors, sittin on my porch listening....
If you watch Austin's cover of "Ain't No Sunshine", I'm pretty sure you can see some of his neighbors in the background - on their porch listening to him! Lucky folks! (At about 1:06 in the video on the far left behind Steven.)
Lucky Folks...indeed.
I love this song and your reaction to it :)
Thanx for the boss who called you away. Like to see you happy 😊
Sebastien also has the badage in Tears in heaven. Looks like a burn… Glad he can play and you will love the song!!
Getting ready for work in California. It's 6am. Had to listen now.. soooo damn good!!! Harmonies are amazing! That guy on guitar with higher range voice I don't recognize
That's Chris Chatham. He's a longtime friend of Tim's from back when Tim was in Blue Jupiter (also The Alley Cats). He was the co-writer with Tim of Land of the Free. He shows up in a lot of Tim's MyFanPark videos as well as a recent one of Austin's. He also is usually included in the various Tim Foust and Friends events. As you can hear, he's a power tenor and quite talented.
Just want to reiterate that original is by B. W. Stevenson and is awesome.
Definitely a happy 🎵!
I love this video
Amazing. The talent of all these guys is so awesome. More, please.
I absolutely loved it! I knew you would watch it twice! Thanks for a great reaction!
Love this.
Tim hitting and holding those crazy high notes just takes my breath away.
I have listened to this quite a few times. I love it, and this group should travel together a lot!! Love Home Free but also love this little band!
Yes! Love these happy and upbeat videos! Seeing them all having fun singing and performing together makes one enjoy it even more so! The song is one of my husband’s favorite oldies by B.W. Stevenson from way back. Lol I’m actually not familiar with the Brooks and Dunn cover, but I’ve only heard a couple of their tunes that Home Free and Austin have recently covered. Loved your reaction and review!
This is so beautiful! I love it! Great reaction!
Wonderful!
Please I do want then on my backyard! Do they fly to Brazil 🤔. And I GOT happy as well seeing this video
A toe-tapping good time, as they say. Thanks for your reaction
Excellent! Hearing this made me go back and listen to Brooks and Dunn. I would prefer Kix and Ronnie for party/dance music but Tim and Austin for the pure beauty of it. In country music, there’s room for everyone.
I love that you play the songs twice ❤
Awesome rendition. Bring the cicadas
Your reactions are golden.
The bass player is Tim's brother in law!
Wow! Yes, loved it!!!
Really great cover of this song which was popular back in the day. And to their credit, they did not do note-for-note the same thing the original did. They made this song their own!
I can't imagine what it would feel like to make music like that. It must be like making love to the universe
Great reaction - great version! Chuck in NE Kansas
Great job on this classic Brooks and Dunn! Tim and Chris Chatham cowrote wrote “Land of the Free!!! For fun watch Tim, Chi’s C. & Jenika Marion(Tim’s Wife) performing “Will You Go with Me” by Josh Turner. Nashville 2018!! Such a warm happy feeling to see those friends singing together!! Nice Reaction!!
Just a wonderful feel good song so well done by the boys. The original is great too but I just love these guys and this version. It's hard to say Perfect, but is sure did it for me.
I loved this so muuuuch! A great job by all. Great reaction as always.
Austin, Tim & Chris' have such great vocals as a trio. Sebastien (keyboard) Chris & Tim's brother in law Chris Marion are great with the music
I first heard the original with BW Stevenson. But loved this arrangement so much more
Hi from Chattanooga Tn.
They had a BLSAT doing this. We had a blast hearing it!
wow where do you find these mate Love this song a nice respite on a busy day already thanks mate
Tim's Shirt XD
I was never a Country guy, but I always really enjoyed "My Maria."
They did a super cover of a classic ! and a very catchy tune it is.
Wish that I could click on like and subscribe more than once. Love listening to your reactions. Stay safe and healthy in all ways.
Sebastian burned his hand severely cooking with olive oil. Thankfully no permanent damage. Told him avacado oil higher flash point.
hey if they come to you back yard pleeeeeeease let me know so I can come visit and listen as well
They sound real close to Brooks & Dunn. Love their version.
If you ever get them to your backyard, I'll come all the way over from Sunnybank to join you 😂👍
If you really want your world turned upside down with ranges try Mayday next. Tim sings tenor and Chance takes bass. LOL
You gotta check out James Arthur Emily you won’t regret it
I think it’s time for a Brooks and Dunn week. Too many good songs not to.
P,ease check out Austin’s “Tears in Heaven “
Thanks PatSupaFry
uhh Lobo
Not exactly the song I was expecting . Tears in Heaven is more poignant and beautifully done. Don't get me wrong, this is a great song just think Tears in Heaven is better.
It’s a totally different, upbeat song while Tears in Heaven is a sad song. You can’t really compare the 2
@@308lmk Personal preference not a comparison.
I thought you were taking a break from youtube???
Hey Heinz, I was but I just enjoy making videos and talking to the community on UA-cam too much.
I, for 1, am always glad to see your reactions, but understand that people need breaks from time to time. ❤
The REAL song - ua-cam.com/video/JdBvTvxHy7E/v-deo.html. B and D was a cover.
Sent burnt his hand, badly it seems. Not good for a keyboard player. But it’s getting better and the cast is off now.
This makes me want to go find a girl named Maria!
Tell your boss thank you for interrupting you watching the premier so we could enjoy it with you! On second thought, maybe that might not be the best idea...
SMILES FROM NEW ORLEANS!
