I love that they had a power tenor, one of the highest tenors in a cappella, and one of the lowest basses in a cappella, and gave the high harmony to the bass.
hee
It’s crazy, his range, right? Everything about this performance was amazing!
I was dancing to this when it first came out in 1973. The original by B. W. Stevenson. They did it justice.
Austin singing kinda low, and Tim going so high! So much fun to watch them! 🔥
Tim Foust has a five (5!) octave range - just amazing and Austin Brown can hit notes 2 octaves above the tenor scale. Chris Rupp certainly had a good ear for talent!
Tim is closing in on 6, count them 6 Octaves. It is so amazing to see Austin and Tim Switch roles in their harmonies. Tim had the High harmonies and Austin carried the Lows. Totally Awesome!! Major Headphone Throw.! Great Review Man.!!!! Just Subscribed !
He doesn't even have 5 full octaves yet..
Love their version! Love your reaction!
The freak of nature is Adam Rupp lol but I understand lol. What a great reaction love it
Good to see you back brother!
Tim in th Austin shirt😳 says the man in the Qofy shirt!🤔😌‼️
Tim has such depth of tone all along his range. The harmonies are wonderful. Thanks for your reaction. The “Outdoor channel” is fun - pets / fishing
Tim is amazing and he and Austin sounded so good together. Chris has a nice voice too.
Imagine living in Austin’s neighborhood? How much fun would that be? Love this song. Good reaction Dennis.
Tim was wearing an Austin Brown shirt and Dennis, you were wearing a Qofygang shirt! The holiness of Austin's shirt tho' lol! The guys were amazing on this and how many basses out there can also go sky-high in their vocals as well as Marianas trench deep??? Not many!
My face hurts every time watching this because it brings joy to my heart and smiling💗💗
On what planet do we expect Austin Brown to be singing the low end in a group of 3 singers?🤣I think the pandemic has seriously done them good. Their voices are rested and fresh. The guys have had time to stir their creative juices both in solo and group activities. And they've kept a whole lot of people entertained, and quite frankly, sane during Covid. Great reaction as always!❤
And to think think “Freak of nature” as you call him (Tim), used to be a math teacher. 😆
Yup... I guess this current version of Home Free fit the best because their vision is the COMMON DENOMINATOR 😂
@@KingFamilyReacts 🤦♀️
@@sallyintucson 🤣🤣🤣🤣
B. W. Stevenson actually sang this in 1973, Brooks and Dunn covered it. Loved Austin & Tim's cover as well. Loved your reaction. Hugs and keep em coming
Thank You for posting this ! I’m a big believer in giving credit where it’s due!
lol ya made me laugh, and clearly you know a thing about music. :) Thank you Brother... keep bringing Peace.
THEY AREN'T FREAKS THEY ARE BLESSED WITH TALENTS BESTOWED FROM ABOVE
Tim singing higher than Austin! How crazy is that??? This was released a couple of weeks ago to subscribers of Austin's website. When it was first released, I listened to the audio before I watched the video. I ASSUMED that Austin was singing those high parts - and then I watched the video! Amazing job by everyone!
Chris Chatham is a close friend of Tim's from way back. Chris Marion is Tim's brother in-law. The outdoor channel is a good one definitely check it out. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this.
I remember this song from 1973. BW Stevenson.
Wouldn't you love to live in this neighborhood?
Tim is a crush for many of us- talent , heart and humor. Shoot- they all have it!
I wish I had a back yard. I love to have Austin and Tim in my back yard if I had one.❤
Spectacular!!
Tim's vocal range was amazing, he crushed it left right, and center and hit it out of the park. Austin did a great job and Chris when they were harmonizing together. The light instruments, and the guitar solo was incredible too. Austin and Tim made me fall in love with My Maria all over again. 👍🔥🎶🎙🎸🎹
Lmfao!!!! That look you have brothe!!!! I'm in tears!😂😂😂😂
You’ve gotta find either one of Tim’s individual covers of Lil Red Riding Hood or Home Free’s. Tim absolutely *kills* that song
Tim is amazing and Austin I love. What a great version of this song.
Thank You for pointing out just how sweet Chris’ s voice is! I have had this song on repeat for the last four days! Such an amazing arrangement!
Sweet mother of Mary!! Those harmonies, though!! 😳
Chris Chatham is an old friend of Tim's - a member of his first professional acapella group, Blue Jupiter, and they've written a number of songs together, including Land of the Free.
His voice reminds me of Jimmy Buffet. I love his tone.
Love you Sally!! 💜
@@lisarenee2227 Thank you - wonderful to see you too.
Great reaction...they absolutely knocked this one out of the park! Pure perfection! You would enjoy their outdoor channel....Austin and Amberly are as down home as it gets! You also need to check out Brad Steele interviewing Austin!
So much fun watching Austin and Tim kinda changing places and Chris C is an excellent singer also. Chris M and Sebastian are amazing with guitar and keyboard. Thanks for reacting and having fun.
I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. But then as soon as he speaks you can hear his low tone. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home.
They did a great job as usual. So good!
I loved how Tim and Austin traded roles a little there.
Brooks and Dunn was not the first group to record this. Back in 1973, BW Stevenson recorded it. He also recorded "Shambala". I was a teen back in the 1970s and this really took me back! 😊
This has been stuck in my head all day, and now it doesn't help that I'm watching reaction videos to it! Lol
I loved this song when Brooks & Dunn did it. I love it even more now!
Great reaction. Love your “stank face” when Tim goes high!!
I hear you Dennis! Tim is crazy sick with his range! The guitar picker on the far right is Tim's brother in law, his wife's Jenika s brother! Would you please react to Austin s latest release " TEAR'S IN HEAVEN" The classic hit by Eric Clapton. It's sooo BEAUTIFUL and he puts his own touch on it as only he can do! A little Austin flavor! If you have heard it before please listen again to his version. I think it will bring you a blessing! Thank you!❤️😀🍟♥️
Bring tissues tho
Lmao!!!! He is a freak of Nature!!!! He is so versatile in what he can do and his range is just unbelievable!!! Wish I had his voice. Just crazy good.
You are SO not done with Tim Foust, you fibber you!
Told ya you would like it!!! Austin and Amberly were live for 3 hours last night on the outdoor channel.
Wasn't that so much fun last night Kelly
@@staceysmith8173 it was. Nice when the artist treat us like human beings and include us in their circle.
@@kellywilliams364 right and we take whatever time they can and want to give us. I'm hoping amberly gets on there (it sounded like she was going to or try to) while Austin is out touring, unless she goes with him but idt Winnie csn travel yet. I Can't remember how long she said before she could travel
This song was originally done by B. W. Stevens back in the mid 70's, Brooks & Dunn was a cover as well
The 4th guy standing in the back is Tim's wife Jenika's brother. Jenika is featured on an Austin cover of Signed Sealed and Delivered
I would love to see Geoff Castellucci, Avi Kaplan and Tim Foust do a song together
I've Breen saying that for YEARS!
Seismologists the world over are lobbying against that.
I feel sorry for any speakers involved if they do.
😍😍😍😍😍😍
As always those two are just awesome. Have to give you a shoutout for the QoFy shirt, but it really should have been pants. LOL
Huh???
@@KingFamilyReacts Since QoFy lost his pants over Hoist the Colours it's only fitting his gear be pants now.
I´ve heard Austin say - the fact that Tim can go from that low and then just go almost as high as he does is not fair , then he smiles and said when they are in the studio he likes to sit on the subwoofer when Tim drops the notes from down there . I would love to try that
Dennis, loved your reaction to this 😍 ! I think this is my favorite of ALL their wonderful "deck & yard" performances, especially Austin's "shout out to the cidadas"! 😂 Now, on to something great but serious.
My older son is a respected sound engineer in Nashville & he just finished recording & producing ALL the vocals on a brand new (last night) song. They sent him the finished video last night & he sent it immediately to me & here's his message: "Ok Mama... Do yo Thang & get this out there for the world to See & Hear!! 🥳"! I'm in the Chattanooga area & he's in Nashville but we talk daily so he knows all the reaction channels I watch daily & wants me to make this beautiful song go viral! The lead vocalist is Donvovan Chapman & he is a true American hero & he & this organization (based in Chattanooga, I just learned today) help other heroes. The song is "Broken Heroes" & I KNOW you'll love it & your eyes will probably "leak" like mine do!😂 Thank you in advance for reacting to the official video: ua-cam.com/video/A49n9cQjczQ/v-deo.html
Great Review Dennis! This is first song I learned on my guitar!
That's awesome 😎
@@KingFamilyReacts took me 6 months to learn it, my cousin taught me
Austin sang mostof the song in a lower key than Tim boggles the mind when they do stuff like this
Like someone else said. Do Austin Browns cover of Tears In Heaven (Eric clapton) it is so beautiful
The outdoor channel (Beauty and the Bass) is so much fun lol
Great reaction 👍
Yes you'll love it. Austin and Amberly are a fun pair.
OK. Here ya go. Tim Foust has a 5 1/2 octave range, which is insane for a natural bass. The only other person I know of (and I'm sure I have a lot to learn) is Dimash who has a 7+ octave range, and he has been classically trained since he was 5 yrs old, so there's that. Check out his new video -- Stranger. It will just stun you. My parrot LOVES Home Free. I'm trying to catch her on video to share. Yep, Tim sings the entire song in high tenor then speaks like the Big Bad Wolf. I sooooo wish he would record some Grimm's fairytales to scare the crap out of my great grandkids.
Love your reactions, Dennis. Keep the Home Free, coming and please add some more Voctave into the mix.
Wondered when you'd get to this. Right Brooks and Dunn.
Tim , Austin, Chris Chattem Chris Marion and Sebastian, are just awesome.
No, it was a hit in the 70s for the late B W Stevenson!
Glad to see you back! Always like your reactions !
This sounded so good. Have you seen the Austin Brown interview on Brad's channel yet? Still hoping to see a reaction to the Alip Ba Ta cover of "My Heart Will Go On" soon.
B.W. Stevenson wrote, sang and released this song in 1973
You haaave to watch Adam chance’s cover of drivers license. Really shows off his range
Tim's vocal range is 5 octaves.
Dennis Brooks & Dunn's was a cover. CW Stevenson did the original in 1973, and it went to #9 on the pop charts. Been a favorite song of mine since then too !
Don't overlook (overlisten) that bass part and execution. As excellent as all the other performers! Chuck in NE Kansas
❤❤❤
The “other Chris”, Chris Marion, is Tim’s brother-in-law…
Hush and let them sing! Lol
Hey Dennis, you should check out Tim, with Cris and other friends, in their version of Edge of glory (Lady Gaga) from some years back. It's on Tim's yt channel.
If you are trying to stay current, Chance has done a lyric treatment of "drivers license" to his fiance's imaginative video.
This sounded AMAZING!!!! I can’t wait to see them in Tulsa Oklahoma in December!!!!
Tim is too pretty to be a freak of nature.
Thanks for yer usual goodness Dennis but.....holey shirt? I said "no" out loud at that one. Moving on...
Like another aging commenter I remember, and loved, the original B.W. Stevenson version from '73. You, being a young upstart and all, wouldn't know that. The B&D cover was almost as good as the original but this beat em both by a country mile.
Btw, did ya notice the bass player's last name, Marion? Sound familiar?
For the most part, Chris takes the high harmony in this song. The exception is in the sections right after Tim hits his high falsetto notes, as he stays on a high harmony there.
Austin Brown did a cover of Holy a few months ago. It’s on UA-cam. Check it out
B.W. Stevenson is the original and best version of this song no one touches him no one period
Austin did a cover of Justin Bieber Holy and you really should check it out.
Not sure how many people in the comment section here are gonna know who Nic Val is but if any of y’all have heard this guy, I think we can all agree he takes bass to a level that not many can take it. I’d love to see a reaction to Nic’s video titles “lowest bass singer on the planet”
Tim Foust, Geoff Castelucci, Tomi P and Bobby Bass can touch all 4 corners.. Well Bobby Bass not as much but still has that Dragons growl Low and a good High Range
No you are not done with Timmy! He went right back to the basement with his spoken words!
It's a cover of a cover also
Should watch the rest
Rest of what?
Chris Marion is Tim's brother-in-law
This song was originally sang by bw Stevenson
Another great performance and reaction, really enjoyed this video. Hope you check out Level of Concern by twenty one pilots soon!
Oops!! Brother
Just way mayday if you haven't
Apparently, Tim was trained as a Tenor and didn’t develop his Bass until he was a bit older…
It's amazing Tim singlng higher than Austin
you know chris the bass player is Tims brother in law right?
Tim's high notes are ridiculous. Good Lord. This is sick.
Can you react to Now United singuing Earth Song by Michael Jackson, please?
Nobody picked up your understandable slip of mistaking Tim for Geoff Castellucci...when you watch as many videos as do you, it's allowed.
I did???? 😂 Good catch
"I'm done with Tim Foust ❕❗I'm done with this guy ❕❗"
Are you really though ❔❓ lol 😅
You know he isn't lol
I just love how he said it when we all know the truth lol❕❗
@@PurpleCinnamon-Land-Of-Misfits right. He cracks me up
More video less talking
B.W. Stevenson originally released My Maria in 1973. Brooks and Dunn made it a hit.
