The almost fatally ironic thing about the Rock's ill fated DC run is that it was the last, best chance to finally get Cavill back as Superman. WB in their infinite stupidity, never had any intention to bring him back, and remember too he was supposed to be replaced permanently by Mexican Supergirl in the Flash. It took the Rock and whatever muscle he had in Hollywood to literally strong arm them into letting Cavill cameo in Black Adam, and that was after going over Walter Hamada's head. I’ll see ava2 because that quality of 3D FX is just that uncommon. Avatar 1 was the moving diorama to everyone else’s headache inducing magic-eye strobe n flicker.
Henry would be a good choice for Ciaphas Cain or Ibram Gaunt, really hope they let him have creative input. I can trust Henry to care about this setting, not many others, though.
IF we would have good writers without politics and shit a way to go would be like the old Indy-TV-show: An old Indiana, played by Harrison, talks about past adventures and in these he is played by a new actor. And sometime old-Indy can do something cool as well...
What a shocker. The whole reset thing is old and never seems to work well. And you hit the nail on the head the actors suffer because of the poor writing. These are the same actors who have done a decent job with poor scripts and could have really excelled if the scripts were better. Another origin story is the possible reason! How many origin stories do we need not only in Movies but in series as well. I think a new SM movie with Henry would have done well, and they are wasting a good opportunity here. I loved Heelvs input, and I feel the same way. Henry is Great and deserves much better. Wokeness is ruining everything, and I believe there is a component of this at play here.
Yup, Az, totally agree, the time of "deconstruction" is DONE... Time for some "construction" on screen... Sure wish they start up with the "timeless" stories again... Instead of looking back to the 80's for superman and batman and etc...
Hollywood: Don't read up on the comic book character you're about to portray. Actor: So do the exact opposite of what I've been doing my entire career then? Me: FFS, HOW DO THESE PEOPLE STILL HAVE JOBS???
I do believe Zack Snider can be an excellent cinematographer. But he should never be allowed near scripts. Batman vs. Superman was the best shot worse film of all time.
I was surprised by how much I liked Robert Pattinson as Batman and that film overall. Strange that we have “Joker” in one universe, “The Batman” in another, and then whatever James Gunn is doing. (Although I loved “The Suicide Squad” and “Peacemaker”.)
Agreed with him on Peacemaker. Everyone saying it was so great and 'a breath of fresh air' yeah it was yet another attempt to MCU/Deadpool-ize a flagging franchise with ryan reynolds tier humor/quips/one liners. Take nothing seriously, unless it's the side (extremely diverse) characters' personal relationship woes (LOL), because being minorities their problems are 'real' unlike Peacemaker himself who just has a mean racist daddy who is a neo-nazi tony stark (even more LOL). I wish people would (edit:)start* calling these "not serious" garbage 'soft reboot' style movies/tv shows what they are; post-MCU bandwagoning slop. They aren't good, they aren't original, and they aren't even funny. Sure you might snort once or twice in an episode, but that doesn't make up for all the jokes that DON'T land and just get drawn out until it's beyond embarrassing, and the garbage writing in general. Just because the rest of the DC universe is about as dark and edgy as the goth loners in high school, doesn't mean anything they make that isn't "dark" is good...
@The Hoers Corral I tuned out after they called him a raycist for the 3rd time. And that was before the first episode ended. Also, that bar scene with the blond woman having her "woe is me" tantrum also cemented this show ain't for me. It baffles me how some people say this show it's awesome.
@@WildDogGamerBoy LMAO exactly, that's what I mean. And it only got worse. They had multiple instances where in the SAME EPISODE, they'd have everyone mocking Peacemaker's white plainness and boring 'plain' upbringing (unlike the STRUGGLES of fat black girl of course), and then force us to sit through fat black girl who is also GAY's, lesbian girlfriend/wife (don't care to remember lol) having drama about keeping secrets and all that... as though we should care? I thought that personal 'woe is me' stuff was boring and narcissistic? OH wait, that's just when white men in lead positions do it.
@The Hoers Corral I have ZERO faith James Gunn will do the DC universe any justice based on this show alone. I'll ignore the movies and stick with back issues from now on. I'm tired of being burned constantly by WB. It's like expecting your abusive couple to change after so many years. I at least wanted the snyder cut story finished before doing a full reboot. But now that's gone, too. I just couldn't care less at this point.
so i like the nihilistic superhero movie/tv shows only because the only hope and happiness is boring and not interesting(to me). and how az said basically he wanted to see more hope so when he leaves the theaters he could feel hope to do better in his life. when i heard that i hear “i need to see more women, black, gay etc. in my movies so i can feel seen/feel empowered” they’re both basically the same in my eyes. but i do think a superman character should be hopeful so batman can be more noir and nihilistic.
I have a good idea for a new take on A Christmas Carol. The ghosts are Stan Lee (who I am not the biggest fan of) past, present and future. Scrooge could be played by any idiot of your choice. It can be a director, producer, studio head writer etc.

Zack Snyder DID direct the the No Man's Land scene, he was a supervisor because Patty Jenkins has only done low budget stuff.
@1:04:01 agree with
Mauler, the old knight dying was so random, and glanced upon
Great show.
Rather watch this than any modern crud made today.
Cameron should do Dog Day Afternoon on Pandora! lol
2:00:00 here’s the thing, the FX in avatar are still some of the finest 3D in moviemaking. I actively despise 3D in 99% of all other movies.
I’ll see ava2 because that quality of 3D FX is just that uncommon.
Avatar 1 was the moving diorama to everyone else’s headache inducing magic-eye strobe n flicker.
great stream ,watched the whole thing on thursday
Am I the only one suspecting that Cavil was let go by D.C. in retaliation for his speaking out against the producers of The Witcher??
Possible
Not directly. But rather they don't want to work with a person who speaks the truth because such a person is, "difficult."
Henry would be a good choice for Ciaphas Cain or Ibram Gaunt, really hope they let him have creative input. I can trust Henry to care about this setting, not many others, though.
22:04 Couldn't have said it better myself, sir.
In five years when 40k is outselling DC we will all be laughing HARD at WB.
I would argue that Henry Cavill could play the new Indiana Jones and people would accept it.
Could chris Pratt do it?
This just made my day
1:27:53
"TIME"S UP!" moment
We're such bigots for wanting quality written material that pays respect to source material. How dare we???
The Babyface is angry, but wise too.
The day they remake Flash Gordon is the day I register as a terrorist. They have applications for that, right?
I go back to Rogue One for the space battle. Slightly tinted yellow bright white sun scorched steel star destroyers are best star destroyers.
Yup, Az, totally agree, the time of "deconstruction" is DONE... Time for some "construction" on screen... Sure wish they start up with the "timeless" stories again... Instead of looking back to the 80's for superman and batman and etc...
Seasons Beatings!!😂😂
I just hope Tomasz Baginsky does to Knights of the Zodiac justice because he’s a fan of it.
What do you guys think of the trailer?
Hollywood: Don't read up on the comic book character you're about to portray.
Actor: So do the exact opposite of what I've been doing my entire career then?
Me: FFS, HOW DO THESE PEOPLE STILL HAVE JOBS???
F For Henry! Henry Cavill for Ryan Drake!!!!! Make it happen! Your Patreon, your Kickstarter and your fanbase wants you to!!!!!
All directors who's happened to accidentally get a hit think they can be Clint Eastwood.
Poor Az sounded so Emotional, but He said everything I was feeling about All this.
Yeah. I don't always like his rants but he was totally on point this time.
I do believe Zack Snider can be an excellent cinematographer. But he should never be allowed near scripts. Batman vs. Superman was the best shot worse film of all time.
Get this on Rumble, Drinker! Great stream though as always.
I was surprised by how much I liked Robert Pattinson as Batman and that film overall. Strange that we have “Joker” in one universe, “The Batman” in another, and then whatever James Gunn is doing. (Although I loved “The Suicide Squad” and “Peacemaker”.)
17:38 PREACH IT AZ!!!!!!! Yes! James Gunn is an un-serious film maker. These people can't play superheroes straight! They don't take them seriously.
Are you sure gunn isn't wise enough to rein himself in depending on the character he's writing? Would he really not make an exception for superman?
Heelv's face during the WIllow scene explanations
I'm wondering what the next disaster is going to be for the long man to thoroughly destroy.
Watched all of that and still sane 🤣
I have a good idea for a new take on A Christmas Carol. The ghosts are Stan Lee (who I am not the biggest fan of) past, present and future. Scrooge could be played by any idiot of your choice. It can be a director, producer, studio head writer etc.
1:52:21 100%
Fuck sake this is the director formally know as THE James Cameron, his own high standards, his iconography influenced countless games and films, its bloody unacceptable that he'd waste his latter years on this scutter.
He could have picked any subject matter as a film in the 00/10's and I'd be more interested than in what he ls doing now.
OK maybe Avatar influenced the last decade of live action CGI fests, the 2007 Transformers, too, that could be shat out factory like, movie like CGI on TV too.
Given who the Producer is, I won't be surprised if we see a Shazam 3 get made.
My kidneys: I feel a great disturbance in the biological force, as if 2 tiny kidneys just cried out: "Stop drinking you indulgent F*ing Scotsman!!" And were suddenly silenced....
Love this dam intro
Yeah..this was cool. Very enjoyable…a good 4
Forgiveness is complicated.
Mauler-- 2022.
Cavill is the perfect Bond. Will not happen though.
Imagine if Indy 5 had been made with Gina Carano instead
With everything going on right now, the best decision to be on any creative man's heart is having a profitable investment strategy.

Investing in crypto now is really cool especially with the current price in the market for now
I definitely agree this current DIP is a huge opportunity to buy the DIP and also high volatility to yield more profit for day traders
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
@@mackea4651 The fluctuations of the market only affect those that hodl coins, but traders makes money on both sides, when it's bearish they go short when it's bullish they go long... The best strategy to use in trading crypto is to trade with a professional, like Fergus waylen he understand the market quite well, that way maximum profits are guaranteed.
I'm honestly surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of his clients testimony last two months in CNBC world news and decided to try him out...I'm Expecting my third cashout in 2days
19:20 God bless man absolutely based rant.
Avatar 1 and 2 is what you'd get if you told an AI to create a movie.
