- Hey everyone! I am T-Rex and today I am giving my review for Battlefront 2(2005)! This is a Star Wars multiplayer game that was released in 2005. This is my review for Battlefront 2 and I hope you like it!

All old star wars games need a remaster, with UE5 level graphics.
Galactic Conquest is still hands down my favorite game mode in any star wars game. Too many fond memories

Same man good times. Games are meant to be fun. Nowadays it's pay to win. It sucks, but games back then were magical. The fact that modern games can't even match what this game did just says a lot.
Old gen gaming was truly the best. It felt more Cohesive and alive. Now days they just mesmerize us with good graphics but subpar gameplay
Bro, the mods on pc just magnify the awesomeness like BF3 Legacy and Remastered
Me and my brother would get so competitive just having the time of our lives playing eachother in Battle F2 then the story mode was incredible as well fighting general grievous on the final level
I played battlefront II all the time on my ps2 with my brothers when we were younger. And now, being able to use an original disc on a series X and having it play and feel like a modern game is incredible. Its a shame they stopped making games like these. I like the open sandbox style of the maps, the muliseat vehicles, and the attention to Star Wars details in this game. Like you might see the trash compator grate and go "huh i wonder how i get in? Well, in the movie, Leia just shot it, let me try it, and it works. The devlopers knew what they were doing

I've played literally thousands and thousands of hours of this game. I got it in like 2006 for PSP and then 2007 I got it on PC (and it was on 6 CDs). Back then you could track your hours played with third party tools like xFire. Last I had checked, before the service went down, I logged close to 6~7,000 hours. Just on the PC version, I played the PSP version all the time as well.
I was so damn good at this game bro you have no idea, 7 year old me is hurt about BF3 being kept from me twice.
And the fact that the original battlefront 3 was nearly done just makes it even worse

The one game I actually want remastered. Definitely not a remake though. Just a good old graphics upgrade. It's one of the few games I would actually call perfect for what it's meant to be.
this is the definition of my childhood. got is for the ps2 and played split screen with brother for hours. such a good pure time. have it for my pc now and play it but it doesnt give my the same feeling and nostalgia than playing on ps2. i actually bought a copy off amazon, but dont have a ps2. well my uncle had one while i was visiting and thats when i bought it and did play alittle.
It’s a love letter to the fans i would pay for a remaster of galactic conquest it’s so awesome
Played this on the ps2 one memory stands out in particular: on split screen with a friend on endor playing as empire. As you know it’s very hard to win on Endor as empire. Despite the fact that we had two human players on one side, it was down to the last reinforcement on either side. My friend was playing as one of the regular classes I don’t remember which I was playing earth Vader. So I’m on a time limit and since we had one reinforcement count left I assumed we would lose if I died. I couldn’t find the last rebel for the life of me, so I decided to kill the one person that I knew where they were: my friend. Friendly fire was on. I dashed and slashed and I remember saying “slash” out loud in a funny accent, instantly ending the game. We always found ways to team kill each other or kill each other when we’re on opposing sides. Our favorite method was to put remote bombs on CPs as the red glow would mask the red light on the bombs to camo them. Good times

I used to play the crap out of this on my ps2 as a kid and I would always play the battle of hoth for hours because of how much I loved the AT-AT and snowy environments. I still play it regularly on my new Xbox but I also have it on PC and the PS2 still. It’s just such a timeless classic and the devs were GOATS for releasing the modding tools to the players so we could keep the game alive with endless content on PC! It’s just a such a shame a 3rd installment for this franchise is absolutely cursed!
Have you played the multiplayer? Sniper meta with players who mastered movement is so scary
This, not Overcrap, is the TRUE rival of Team Fortress 2. The OTHER sequel that will last forever as one of the best shooters of all time.
The PS2 and PC versions hold a very special place in my heart (the PS2 version because it was the first version I ever played, and the PC version because it's the version I frequent nowadays). I wouldn't be surprised if I caught myself copping the Xbox One version off of Xbox Store in the future

This is the best game I ever played in my life still play it Xbox has recently been removing back wards compatible games lately. I recommend buying this master piece as soon as possible it might be playable on disc version as well which I will probably pick up I can't praise this game enough I love it been Playing since 2005 I remember staying up almost all night lol having a blast with my cousins playing the game

Loved this video, and how biased you are. If a dev heard this, they would probably cry tears of joy from your giddy passion towards the game. I was the same story, had it on the OG xbox and would make a massive instant action playlist to chew threw on a long afternoon with my brother in split screen. Truly an awesome game. If I was ever a developer, I would want my players to look back on the game with such fondness for just how damn fun it was.

I'll tell you one great feature is that it does NOT have microtransactions that make it a tedious f*cking grindfest like some other notorious games...
What baffled me was that it was 150 players each! Damn! For ps2 and that sort of hardware being able to handle a game with 150 players is crazy!!!
Battlefront 1 and 2 2004 and 2005 will always be better than the new battlefronts.

Got this game again after finding two ps2's i had in a box hidden since 2011 *my save data is all from may 2011* ; so pumped to try glitching out of every map.

If you have this on pc you need to install mods man, the mods you get add so much re playable maps and modes

Imo BF1 Classic's AI is a lot better than 2, but 2 has the better maps and modes for sure. Wish we could combine the best of both of these classics tbh.

Does anyone remember the old fan series, made using this game, about a bad batch of clones, and the main character is a clone who gets transported to the stormtrooper Era, I forgot his name it was hilarious, Does anyone remember it.

This game is on contractors vr and it’s a mod but it feels and acts almost identical along with the maps looking pixel by pixel it’s so good and you get to do it in vr so if you got a headset contractors is your game!

I’ve recently been playing Contractors with Battlefront 2 mods and thanks for the recommend! Me and the boiz have been having a blast with it!
@@IamT-RexI just watched this after playing the contractors mod for months. I think it's funny, this game made you want to try the VR version, while the VR version made me want to return to this lmao. I'm glad you enjoy the mod though, it's a blast.

When I was hearing that Battlefront 2 gets a Remake, I was so hyped. Like, I played it when I was ofc. younger but to me it felt what Fortnite is to the kids nowerdays. The remake of BF2 is just... not it. Where are all the cool characters? We just got like 10 Heros on each side not brought in very well. Graphic is coll, of course but that's it. The storyline feels so slow, the gameplay in Multiplayer is not rewarding and just the same over and over again. The remake is not a remake, it's a whole different game in my opinion.

Battlefront 2 (2005) is legit way more fun than the new BF 2. For me fun factor beats shiny new graphics by a long shot

This is still quite janky but I don't mind it especially since a lot of the jank in the game is just hilarious.
Getting into a capital ship turret and just defending the star destroyer only for that one singular Y wing across the map to just home in on you made no sense but I loved it.
