Man, I remember watching this live back in 2007. I think that was a much simpler time for everyone. Seeing all the TV stars and celebrities I went through my teen years watching. I guess this is nostalgia

@JOEBROWN08 googling it might help. There are so many. All from Children's tv and comedians etc from the 70s onwards. It means a lot to certain people because they all got together for charity. At the end there was a roll with all peoples names on, but it might go too quick.

(He played the RAF father of Tommy). That audience is literally my childhood - I grew up on the best of British tv in Australia in the 80's and freaking loved it.
I'm not sure who I'm more excited at seeing though, Basil Brush or David Tennant in a kilt.

The surname Kay is the same as Key.

My father sailed out of the Tyne 1965 on the British Soldier he was away 10 months. He did not return and is now buried in the Indian ocean. I will never forget that day he sailed away. I am now 70 and my eyes still fill with tears.

As an American who hasn't watched loads of British telly, I didn't recognize most of the celebs. I recognized Remnant, Basil Brush?(the fox), and the woman who dressed as a school boy that also was a swinger if I remember something from Big Fat Quiz
Interesting in a way that none of them are really what you would call A-listers (maybe with the exception of David Tennant), but somehow it brings a gasp and a gulp for a British viewer.
Of course the true gasp and gulp come through the cause they are working for, as well as the amazing song about pilgrimage in the name of love.
From a pairing of brothers called the Proclaimers.
Only one thing in this world worth proclaiming, my friend...
There is truth and love here (as well as many a fond smile) ... and we know where those come from...
and that it is the Holy Spirit who delivers them.
So if it's feelgood, it's also feel-God.
