I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous Mr Kay when he came in to the store I was working at in Eccles. A true gent in every sense of the word.

"Have I just been heckled by a ship".. absolute tears of laughter. When you think the chronic and very unfunny so-called comedy shows on TV by highly paid scriptwriters that leave me stoned face and switch over after a few minutes as so bad. And this guy can take just random shouts from an audience and ship fog hall and turn it all into such joy and laughter is just pure magic.
You missed question marks, used too many and too few full stops, couldn't spell "horn" and started a new sentence with "And" without good cause for it.
No wonder you think Peter Kay is doing magic. He's not even a magician, he is a comic.
I used to think the education system failed... As it turns out, it didn't fail. People with online names like "Wake up UK" can't even accurately spell. Stick to your script, you can't be so inept you're gonna fuck up a Copy/Paste action. Hmm... Then again, I've been wrong before!

I will, though, say before you choose to check someone's English, you know what you are talking about. It is perfectly acceptable to start sentences with conjunctions such as 'And' and even 'But'. However, should only be used informally and I would say leaving a comment on UA-cam about Peter Kay is certainly not business English. Yes, I admit I left out the ? and three other errors but I was laughing my head off and wanted to make the point how good Peter Kay is, especially we now live in a world where there is so little laughter and tight-arsed w*****s like you. I suggest you get out more, talk to people and basically just get a life.

I remember many years ago I was laid up on the settee with 2 broken ribs (got caught hard in a martial arts competition) but decided to watch his show as it was on TV at the time, I was laughing so hard but was in so much pain from laughing I had to turn it off! Absolute agony from laughing at him! The man's a genius!

Wish he was more prolific in regards to his telly work. Phoenix Nights was truly great but only 12 episodes and another 6 for Max And Paddy.

that's why you're not friends with someone like him. you expect too much. people like you ruin days and nights of performers because you think, on or off the stage, they're there solely to entertain you and keep you happy. you're the reason "famous people" can't do normal shit. it's not that they're weird, it's that you're obsessive and ignorant to thier lives. time and time again anybody widely popular would say outloud, on camera, to other people, in public "i'm not always ON, i'm just like you, now let me eat with my family!" but no, you want him to be YOUR friend.

I live in Bolton and the accent there just lends itself absolutely perfectly to comedy. I find Boltonians generally funny because there's a sense of humour that is so traditional and homely. It is reflected a lot in Peter's jokes, centred around family life at home and in local communities. There's nothing so funny as people, especially if they're related to you! haha.

PK has a great way to deal with hecklers. Doesn't shoot them down ala Frankie Boyle or Jimmy Carr but works with them , lets them have thier moment makes it a big part of the show.
I love Peter Kay's bounce and use of his accent. He's the new improved club comedian. Fringe comedians often put shit on him but he's a consummate showman performing to packed houses.
