- My second ever SFM animation posted to UA-cam!!! Also my first ever edited video, which is sort of why it took so long (not really)
I had the animation done about 2 months or so ago, but since it was longer than 45 seconds this time, it turned out SFM couldn't handle it, and would only allow it to render in 3 separate chunks or else it'd corrupt the file. So my options were either try and render out the video as separate image files and put them back together in an editing program or splice the AVI files together and hope it works. So I did the second one, and that's why there's some audio issues a couple times through out the video., it's stitched together from 3 AVI files. All of this was really confusing and took a while to figure out, so I procrastinated on it a lot, sadly.
I'm sure there's an easier way but prior to this, I had never used any editing software at all so I'm still learning... a lot.
Hopefully the video isn't too crummy and I hope it was worth the wait, if anyone was indeed waiting.
By the time he gets to episode 1 we’ll have half of the first series animated.

The turrets glancing back and forth at each-other had me laughing holy shit.
Then there's the turret at the end who's visibly afraid of Gordon when he shoots the Headcrabs

Oh this? This is beautiful.
I noticed the dialogue cuts off in a few spots, but otherwise, I love the animations, sorry I had to point that out.
Yeah, sadly SFM doesnt let you render in anything other than AVI or image sequence and the AVI files only work for 30 to 40 second long vids. By this point I hadn't tried the image sequence rendering technique so it's just 3 AVI files spliced together, which is why you get those cuts. Thankfully I've figured it out now so it's all good. Glad you enjoyed my animation though c:

@@MenachemSchmuel It's the Gnome but with the TF2 spooky glowing eyes effect. I was hoping it'd be too dark to see the texture sheet it's on but ah well.

@@synthwavecat96 yeah, actually theres a lot I could do with that. Definitely going to be one of the ones I look at next time I do a Freemans Mind animation.

very cool👍 IDK if you take fan suggestions for SFM or blender. But I'm wondering if you are possibly down to create an animation using the season 2 model of Kenny and season 4 or season 1 Lilly models from TWD (Telltales the walking dead) videogame series. Or if you cannot find lilly use Jane. The idea could be where Kenny and Lilly or instead Jane go on a hiking on foot adventure walking around across a map exploring an outside OR INSIDE map or whatever and kill a group of zombies together melee style or with fists.make it as long or as short as you want. use the Kenny player model and npc. Then search up lilly player model and npc or search up Jane player model and NPC.😁.
