@@LDLD-xl5gb I proceded horizontally. At each row I would add an increase on one side, and after the half of the lenght a decrease. At the center I reversed the direction of the diagonal, so it was following the shape of the scarf.
I always enjoy watching you stitch, but recently decided I'm non-beginner enough to give the Amour Sampler a try. This was my first time doing foundation crochet stitches (took a sec, but I finally figured it out) AND the first time doing front or back post stitches. I've admired them from afar, but not sure I could do it. Your instructions are so clear and your demeanor so reassuring and calm that I was able to stick with it and I DID IT! Wow. you are an amazing teacher. thank you!
I'm just floating while I read this comment! Look at you, trying new things and impressing yourself with how talented you are. So glad I could guide you through this new stitch. Onto the next one!!
I am new to your channel and I would like to say 1st of all, your nails are gorgeous!!! I am jealous! 2nd, I love this tutorial. Your very calm and precise and very easy to follow and keep up with. I appreciate that. Looking forward to learning more new crochet stitches from you ❤
This looks fairly easy. I like stitches where you only have to pay close attention at the beginning and can watch tv or listen to audible during the rest. It looks stretchy and full. I will definitely have to try it out.
Question for you, Toni! Love this pattern and think it would be amazing in alternating colors. How would you change the colors for them to run diagonally?
I didn't need a new scarf at first, but now I do
Protip: make it a triangular scarf. I get a lot of compliments over mine.
Same. Wasn’t planning on buying yarn today but….. looks like I will 😂
@MaterialMenteNo
HOW do you start in triangle? Can I do a short tutorial how to start? Im still learning.
@MaterialMenteNo oh I have way too many triangle ones lol. I'm obsessed with making shawls. I only have 3 regular scarves though

Beautiful. Thank you ❤
Beautiful
Thanks Toni 😊❤🎉

Is this considered a yarn eater? I absolutely love it! Also, what border would you suggest for a blanket?
For sure = post stitches are yarn eaters. They make a thick fabric because half of the stitch is laying on top of another stitch.
Bonjour Toni si je veux faire des augmentations je fais comment ?. Merci pour tout vos tutos❤❤❤❤

hi darling - that would involve a lot of color changes in the row. I'd recommend looking for a pattern on the bias instead.
Can you measure the FDC row for the width of the swatch, or do you need the first row to give you the true measurement?
So u work it the same way .. in the round?? For a hat!
I haven't tried it in the round, but my guess is you'll want to do turned rounds to get the same effect.

Is this too much for a beginner? Seems like it. I need to still stick to beginner level.
This is definitely beginner friendly. It may help more when you have the written tutorial, too. That drops on Monday.
