  • how do somatic trauma releasing exercises work? 👇🏼
trauma & long term stress can cause you to disconnect from yourself & shutdown both physically & emotionally
this is a coping mechanism that happens when the traumatic experience(s) or stress is too overwhelming or distressing to process in the moment 😮‍💨
disconnecting from your body manifests as dissociation, overeating or under-eating, feeling numb, addiction, physical pain, workaholism, not being able to feel your feelings, and ignoring basic self-care
these are not moral failures & they’re not your fault!
they’re autonomic, unconscious reactions to the amount of trauma & stress that you’ve been through
your body & your emotions shut down in an effort to protect you, and for a short period of time this can be helpful to getting through your day to day ✨
BUT! at a certain point these trauma responses no longer are helpful, and instead you know that you want to get your full self back 🙌🏼
somatic trauma releasing exercises are a clear pathway into reconnecting to your body & your emotions 💖
these exercises release stored trauma & pent up survival energy that’s been making you feel stuck, disconnected or dissociated 🙌🏼
after you release, you’ll feel significantly better both physically and emotionally ✨
your unexplained physical pain will be gone and you’ll have a ton more energy 💪🏼
you’ll feel emotionally stable & your nervous system will be regulated ✨
releasing stored trauma disrupts your body’s habitual stress response, allowing your body to return to its natural, balanced state 🙌🏼
do you want to release stored trauma from your body?
get guided through the step by step 👇🏼
    release stress & stored trauma (30 day course) 🔗 rb.gy/85vk8 💖✌🏼💖

I did this one last night for a long period of time because I thought my thighs and legs would eventually stop, but it just kept going. 😂 I actually liked the release, so I allowed the shaking to continue. I went to bed shortly after, and OH, MY GOD! My legs felt so rested, and I sinked deep into bed. I didn't realize how restless my legs have been for so long. I just assumed it was due to gaining weight. This exercise did a solid for me. I will do this nightly along with two other exercises I combined with. I also noticed that when I got up to walk afterwards, I felt lighter and my legs felt less dense. It was such interesting feeling. I felt my feminine enegy flowing more as I walked. This morning, I woke up feeling well rested and emotionally calm and overall more present. I can't imagine what results I'd get if I did more. I'm definitely looking more into this. I love this modality. It's amazing! Thank you sooo much for sharing these videos. ❤

OMGGGGG!!! It was meant for me to randomly come across your video because I've been dealing with on and off hip pain that is gradually getting worst. This is mostly the cause. I got pinned up trauma, hurt, and work issues simultaneously. It's Wednesday and I have a doctor's appt Friday for my hip but will try this technique asap. Thank you for the video.

Doing the Release Stress & Stored Trauma In 30 Days course. The first time I did this (Day 18) I didn't shake or feel much of anything the first time through but the second time through the chest pain was intense. No tears no feelings of release or relief. Felt nothing when I repeated the routine on Day 25. No shaking. No tears. And thankfully, no chest pain. Any thoughts?

Do not be discouraged. I recommend repeating days 18-25. For some people, it just takes more time. Refer back to the best practices and modifications in the course intro video. Remember to be as lazy as possible, wear loose clothing and do this without distractions (partner, roommate, etc.)

same unfortunately i’ve tried her exercises (specifically the hip course) probably 6 times since i bought it around ~3 years ago. and it’s never helped :/
i think it’s because i don’t feel she’s very authentic and is always trying to sell sell sell instead of just talk to people. (ie all her comments lead to her website and courses).
i follow her on tiktok as well and it’s been a consistent experience the whole few years, i wouldn’t speak on something like someones business if i didn’t put the time in.
this isn’t coming from a hateful place, ive had a very open heart for a long time, and im sure shes lovely.
i just dont think her online persona is in alignment with feelings of safety, trust or security. *for me personally*
if she ever reads this i hope it’s taken as constructive criticism to connect more. genuinely, i mean no harm.

@@xosydneyjoI was having a similar feeling , thank you for posting this !!! . I just found her recently and she doesn’t answer questions , she just sends links to her course . She left this person hanging and sent her course link without giving a damn possible reason why she has restless legs after doing this exercise . It’s a definite Red Flag . Is she a narc survivor or a NARC ?! … hey Liz if you read this , not impressed with your lack of answering people’s questions . It’s a turn off as I was buying into YOU and I’ve seen you do it so many times as I am 😢a comment reader . Your course is way overpriced in my opinion for being online , it should be no more than $50 . Sorry your quality sucks as I told you in another comment and it’s not fair we have to wait for your NEW MATERIAL to be posted . I bought your course believing we were paying for HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL especially at the cost of your courses ! I find it interesting that your tic toK ‘s production value is GREAT w NO DOG DISTRACTING US ..yet your course material is really crappy . It’s been bothering me a lot I feel DUPED . My message to you today was that I am watching other videos with amazing lighting etc than doing your course I wasted $79 on .bc your videos suck . You know this . Has she had an injury to her neck, head, back or spine? Been in a car wreck? Fallen from a high place? Or have scoliosis or bone issues? Or pain when turning head or lifting arm on one side more than the other?
These are things to contemplate just in case. Because it all definitely seems like parasympathetic nervous system interference, as if there's compression somewhere on vagus nerve.
It's called cervical spine instability. Because of the location of the vagus nerve in the cervical (neck) spine area, the tiniest of misalignment can cause great suffering.
The reason I say this is because it's textbook parasympathetic nervous system/vagus nerve symptoms. ALL of them.
      She probably needs imaging.
Look for a cervical spine instability specialist near you. Don't even waste time with general practitioner. Unless you absolutely have to. But they work for You! Don't forget that. Tell them what You want. Decide and delegate. Because THEY DON'T CARE!
