Love your energy! I almost had gastric bypass in 2020 but unfortuately things happened out of my control and my Daughter needed me to be there for her. She got pregnant during Covid then got Covid before her 12 week term. I needed to help her get through everything for i could have lost my Daughter and Granddaughter. They didnt know much about how it affected pregnant women at that time. I put it off and then helped my Daughter when my granddaughter was born. Prefect lil girl in every way. She is just over 3 now. I am hopefully in the final stretch where my information has been sent to my insurance company. I think i am in a better mindset this time as well. Have better surgeon office and great support. You look Fabulous. Keep uo the great work!
I’m 5 weeks post op!! I’ve lost 33 lbs since my surgery date.
I’m 14 weeks now and have lost a little over 60 lbs now ☺️

Doctors keep telling me that I should have surgery. I have so many health issues. I lose weight then it just comes back. I'm scared to do it and scared not to. You look great. Congratulations on your journey.
If Doctors are telling you to get the surgery done. Get it done. It's not easy but your health is greatly important. I would never tell you to go against your doctor. But just know it's a journey to get through.

Thank you for your videos. I have watched them before and after surgery and they are a big help!! Surgery date was 2/18/22. I am excited to see where I and up. My highest weight was 263 before I left to travel abroad 2 weeks ago I was 220. I've been going thru the regrets and the celebrations. I am feeling the difference and see little changes for the better. I had Gastric Bypass. The major thing is ... I am off diabetic meds🙌🏾🙌🏾 God is good.
That's what I'm talking about, being off the diabetic medication and losing weight, getting healthy. Congrats on your journey!

I got my surgery last December and 2 months post op I’m 42 lbs down! Also your incision scars are super small (mine are a little bigger) Congrats on your journey so far!

@@Pices3370 Go see your doctor you might have a restriction I had my surgery Monday and by the grace of god I can almost drink a whole bottle of water in 10 min but my sister is two years post op and she can only do half that amount in about 30 min everybody’s diffrent

aw man sorry you had so much pain. i didnt have pain or gas after, the nurses were like wth lol.
Omg I just had mine Monday all I really had was gas sub to my channel I would love to see everyone’s journey as well I’m 6 days post op and I can use the encouragement
You were lucky. I had so much gas and pain I was regretting it immediately afterward. I'm sure the nurses never experienced that before. What is your secret to no pain and gas? Were you able to work out?.

I’m one year out. Best thing I could have done for my health. I did have hair lost too. Not happy about that but hair is hair. You get over it.

How much was your surgery?? How many pounds do have to weigh to qualify for surgery (gastric bypass)
It really depends on your insurance and what they cover. I don't think it's about pounds, more so your BMI (Body Mass Index). They will tell you a healthy weight that you should be at, and you decide what you're comfortable with. Hope that helps, I'm sorry I'm late responding.
