Well done on your continued weight loss. You have been glowing in recent vidoes and can clearly see your inches coming off! Try not to obsess over the scales and be proud of the changes you are making and the health benefits they bring x Keep up the good work 😊
I have watched you for the last two years and have to say I’m seriously impressed by your results so far…better than any other UA-camr I watch. I had my initial WLS in 1985 (when it was crude and deadly with a 10% death rate). 7 years ago I had my staple line dehiscence fixed with a new surgeon and an RNY gastric bypass. Over those years my BMI went from 46 to 22. Watching your video where you talked about tracking, I hate to say it, but gets even more important to track during maintenance. Losing weight is the easy part…maintaining it is when you really need to find your very individual maintenance calories. It probably took me a good year to determine mine (@175cm) is 1670 calories. Sure we get great scale/calorie eyes over time, but tracking during maintenance will be absolutely essential to not regain the weight loss. Unfortunately you have to make friends with your scale and with calorie trackers long term.
I absolutely love your videos, I’m nearly 5 months PO gastric sleeve and I’ve lost 30kg (66 pound). It kind of feels like we’re on the journey together 🥹
Wow! Congratulations! So happy for you.. I just had gastric bypass 5 days ago because I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes recently.. I'm currently 126 kgs.. Lost 5 kgs so far.. I really wish you luck with your journey to good health! ❤
It's been 2 years since my gastric bypass and I still will go through dumping syndrome. I sweat, have stomach cramps, get weak and eventually fall asleep. Sometimes I don't even know what brought it on. You look great Trina and I love watching your channel.
Happy 30th birthday for the weekend!! Your 30's are way better than 20's so enjoy your new decade❤ I'm also trying to lose weight and I'm not losing much each week, so what you said about being happy with 1 pound a week really spoke to me. Any loss is an achievement!! Keep up the good work and have an amazing weekend (did I see that you're meeting up with Becky Reynolds? Have fun if you are😊)
That's a phenomenal weight loss. Keep up the walking. I bought a body impedence scale. Pro's and cons to that. Keeps track of everything and tells you how dehydrated you are and if you have enough protein but then again apparently I aged 2 years in one day!! Yesterday it told me I was 58 (5 years older than my real age) and today it's saying 60. One thing to check is are you drinking enough water? I was amazed to find that I should be drinking 10.5 glasses of water at 12 st 4lbs. Also, I'm going to be starting ca-akg from Donotage as soon as they land with me. It turns white fat to brown fat - white fat is very hard to move but brown fat gets turned into energy very quickly so hopefully that'll help me lose a few pounds.
I’ve had to massively cut down my sugar intake, as the chocolate addiction was real, and I realised it was a huge factor in my chronic migraines. Sainsburys do a really nice, very cheap sugar free dark chocolate, which I pair with peanut butter so it’s like a reese’s cup. I also eat free from fellows sweets, which are sugar free but so nice. It means I can have a sweet treat, without the sugar highs and crashes, which also means you are less likely to binge on it, or the migraines. Might be worth thinking about? I try not to eat too much ‘sugar free’ stuff as a lot of it is quite chemical-y, but some of it isn’t, and tastes good 😊
Hiya trina excellent weight loss in 10 months. You have gave me faith as yes I finally lost just over 4 stone now since January no weight loss surgery, its getting harder and harder I'm 15 stone 1lb now. My normal is 13 stone as I'm quite big built but at the moment I cannot see myself being that at the moment. I know you are big built too we have same shoe size. I personally think you will be very thin weighing 10 Stone I had a good figure at 13stone I'm not as tall as you. Where you have give me faith is 1lb a week so if later down the line i just lose this I would get their. I'm hoping to get my hip replacement next year then maybe I can walk a little more I have fibroylamyia. I will get their in the end so instead of looking at it as a diet I will carry on eating the same. I'm finding I can only have about 1,300 at most a day some days less and lose 2 lbs a week. Love your videos I speak about you to my mom lol x
I think I might try the no buy chocolate idea. Last night my hub got me a fruit and nut bar because it was my period and this triggered me and today I bought a box of malteasers because they were only 93p! But then i havent had an ice cream today as I have been eating 2-3 (mini) ice creams a day while its been hot! I don't have a dog and work from home so its hard to get steps in but I need to do something!
Im feeling so guilty that i had some junior mints yesterday. Now today im afraid to eat anything because I cheated!😮 You make me feel a little better! Pray Im not bad today!😊😊
I am so proud of you. Keep it up. I am on a weight loss journey ... minus the gastric bypass. I was doing great until the pandemic and needing steroids for different problems 8 or 9 times for 7-14 days each time (I am one who tends to gain 20 pounds a week on steroids) ... and (misdiagnosed for over 6 months) tendonitis in my foot - meaning I had to cut back on "getting my steps." Before the first of the steroids, I was down 262 pounds. I put some of the weight (130 pounds) back on and have started losing again, down 16-17 pounds. I get frustrated about the weight gain, but I understand it. I also try to remind myself that I am still down almost 150 from my biggest.
Steroids suck. I gained 18kg in 6 months on steroids. Two years later I still have about 5 kgs of that gain left to use. Statins will do the same in my experience.
Hello Trina,,,,As for myself what stops me from bingeing,,Trina I look at pictures of myself when I was a size 20/22 that puts me stop immediately. Now I have found delicious mimi 80/100 chocolate candy bars..I enjoy one each night.A lb a week is fabulous. Trina you'll find that you won't go off track, you won't want too...at less thats the case with me...

I am terrified of this happening… my surgery is in 1 week, and I feel like shit is really getting real and I think I’m getting nervous/cold feet 😣
Sooo proud of you❤ I’m getting mine August 7th keep up the good work
You are doing so good! You are a true inspiration! You helped convince me to go get my gastric bypass. I go in February!
I'm glad things are going so well. I'm glad you've got a great new companion in Summer. She's adorable.
The hair, the lip colour, the shirt- you look incredible! Stunning, you are really beaming! Happy looks so beautiful 😍
Goad to hear your life is improving shows how good surgery can go to giving someone's life back to them 👏💖

The slower you lose it the longer you keep it off.

My mum had this she was allergic to gluten, Maybe preservatives in certain foods, too much sweets a higher fat foods
Happy 30th birthday 🎉🎉🎉
If you are craving chocolate or sweets you may be lacking magnesium, it does help, (I'm not a doctor just from personal experience)
You look great
Yaaay
You've lost nearly 8 stone, that's incredible! That's as much as a small person.
Summer is welcome to cute xx
I had trouble understanding Laurie.
