Thank you for this video! This reminds me vaguely of Reaktor’s metaphysical functions which to this date is still on of my favorite sound generators. I really want to try this out now
I sub'd, great show and tell of an absolute beast of a synth. Dawesome are awesome, simple! I love EVERYTHING about Novum. Thank you for sharing, it was a learning experience also.
This thing is fascinating to listen to. Thinking analytically, it sounds neither properly digital nor properly analog. Stylistically, I keep feeling it radiates a certain sort of early '80s flagship synth kind of vibe. Definitely need to pick this up at some point. Technically unrelated, props on the concise and useful demonstration. So few people really nail that.
@@waveform-synths I can definitely see how it'd excel at that. The harmonics on display in your video make me think of the OB-X and the Jupiter 8, both excellent workhorses that filled those odd spaces in tracks.
Thanks for pointing this out! Now fixed, (though you may need to refresh the page). Sorry, no Bandcamp listings, though I hope to have a new project on Bandcamp before too long...
So, Aalto/Kult /generate, these three are basically the same thing, so if you have to buy only one, which one do you think is the most worth buying?? Don't say they're all different.
Not tried Aalto... I'd say try the demos... Kult suits me best as I like to create my own sounds from scratch and it seems more familiar and logical to me than Generate, but Generate does sound good! :) ... the 3 Month demo of Kult gives you loads of time to try it out and wait for a sale offer!
The overview we all want and need! Fantastic work my friend. KULT is amazing. Thank you for all that you do!
Of all the VST reviews I've ever watched, yours definitely has the most agreeable tone of voice.
Thank you for this video!

Thanks for the sub! - Keep your eyes open for Myth - Dawesome's new synth... due for release soon...
Thank you once again for this clear explanation about Dawesome's Kult. A fresh approach to synthesis indeed!
My pleasure!
Terrific. Learned a lot.
...many thanks
Excellent review, I can not wait to get my hands on it!
Have fun with the demo... my current thinking is to only go for new synths that offer something unique... and that is Kult!
This is great overview. I love this synth!
Thanks for stopping by...
Yes! Great overview, as usual.
Thanks again!
Great Synth ! sounds fantastic warm and huge in real. And brings new sonic territory. Higley recomended.
Awesome, thank you!
nice overview, Steve 👍
Thanks 👍

Thanks for your comments... a few times recently when I've needed a unique sound to sit within a track, Kult just seems to fit the bill!

I be interested when they have an ARM64 Linux version.
The links to your music don't seem to work for me. Are they on bandcamp?
