Your slightly demonic Santa Claus and sad Jack Frost go so well together 😂😂😂 maybe that's why Jack Frost is sad? Because his pal Santa's got possessed? Jokes aside, they both turned out adorable, and I love the little mouse as well. Just sew him onto your shoulder and have him in every podcast! This episode made me laugh a ton, and your FO's and WIP's are lovely. I've been planning to crochet some Christmas ornaments so this really got me in the mood

35:57 Ray, your felted toys are adorable! You've got true talent for sculpturing. I used to make felted toys before, until I made a bunny fridge magne, which terrified my kids so much that they were scared to go into the kitchen. I had to hide it and never felt a toy since 😂

Love seeing Sidewalk Chalk knit up!!! It makes me want to cast on my skein asap 😊 That Baby Vertebrae is gorgeous. Love the Avocado Toast at the bottom. I think doing the sleeves in Sidewalk Chalk, or the fade Ray suggested, are both good options.

You need a mantle! Especially if you’re will be making a village for your gnome Santa -you can get a antique mantle that you just put up against the wall wood carved it’s so nice in Connecticut there’s gotta be plenty

I had just left 7th Floor Yarn and you were going in. I had stopped to look at my map and when I turned around, you were gone. I had my #NATRPEACE entry on, a HUGE Boneyard shawl. I had a great time at the festival. In and out of booths with no problem.

Another wonderful podcast, you both are keeping me company while I am recovering from pneumonia, that's what happened after a month of warm weather In Ontario, Canada, plus I went to my nurse at my doctor's office & was given hayfever tablets & a nasal spray, unfortunately I figured out too late it was pneumonia and had to spend 4 1\2 hours at my local hospital yesterday. I should be working on a few commissions, & had to cancel a craft show over the weekend, but I am finally awake enpugh to enjoy the two of you chatting and all the yarnie antics. Lol 😆

Loved the cute little hat. I’d get some cute ornaments (25) and make it an advent hat allowing the child to put on a new ornament every day in December until crhistmas… maybe little Christmas progress keepers. I so have to make some of these! SO cute!

Really enjoyed this episode, too! Like many others, I just laughed till I cried... sometimes, it hits that funny bone and I can't stop! (Arne and Carlos balls ... reminded me of the time we were invited to a buffet hosted by Finland's post office. They had "reindeer balls" and I couldn't help but ask what they did with the rest of the reindeer and my host fell over laughing ; )

I watch you two do the Stephen West thing every year, and every year Kevin blows everyone away with his color choices. Some people just have the knack. I'm very resistant to buying yarn right now, but the colors you showed from Seven Sisters have me visiting their website. I'm so jealous of Ray's lined hat. I would love to find a pattern with instructions for knitting a hat and lining it with fleece or faux fur. I'm not naturally skilled at that kind of stuff!

Yay the guys are back - a delight to see you here and find out what you have been doing and spending! It has been so warm in the Lake District this weekend. Silly temperatures. So at least it is not just in England. Laughed so much “ everything is brown” - that is apart from the red eyes 🙈😂😂. Yes Ray, they do look red. But also look lovely. Ahhhh...red eyes, grab your sharpie! Hello from cold central TX. At 9pm it is 49*.we normally do not get cold weather until after the first of the year. Just to orient you as to my location we are 100 miles north of Houston. I very much enjoy your banter. I am impressed with all you get accomplished.
Do you all do much dropping down stitches when you find an error. I am notorious for doing that as well as frogging at the drop of a hat.

The needle felting creations look great !. I've also got the baby vertebrae pattern and will cast that one on soon. The Reyna Shawl looks good, I'll look up that pattern.

I would take out the avocado toast on the sleeve then continue with sidewalk chalk to do largeish stripe starting at about the point you are currently with the avocado toast or start a fade in that same place, if that makes sense. ❤️So cute by the way.

HI guys, just popping in here to say - great podcast. Kevin your cabled sweater is gorgeous (you mentioned your stitches were smaller so you went down a needle size but I’m guessing they were bigger so you went down) You said this was your most ambitious project, might I recommend a damp block on the needles to see how much your cables stretch before going too much further. Maybe you’ve got more experience with cabled sweaters but as you know, cables pull in a lot and when blocking they can grow a lot depending on their size; so a try on/measure is always good to do before getting too far down the road. Also I would love to gift you guys a set of several patterns to give away on the podcast. Will get in touch via email or text.

Hi Dee! Thank you for all the kind words. We have both had a couple experiences using super was yarns for sweaters and they grew a lot, we are trying to knit garments for us out of non-superwash to prevent that from happening.
