I will not be disappointed if you do not get your gnome of the year done. Great to have plans.... no pressure.... enjoy the journey..... Love the green yarn... One of my favourite colours. My partner of over 30 years has the most beautiful green eyes I tend to make him jumpers in shades of green to bring out the colour in his eyes.

That Gnome is adorable! Would love to try needle felting! Love the Fo's, Ho's and new cast ons! I started a scrappy knitted blanket and may have to rethink it and do a granny stripe after seeing yours Ray! I think it would go much faster! Love the 🐦trying to get into the conversation in the background! Skylar is vocal! Sooo funny!
The granny strip is really fun, you could even do multiple stripes in the same color to avoid all the ends.

I read Marie Kondo's book: 'the life changing magic of tidying up' (because I'm a collector of all things useless) and one thing she advises against gifting people your 'rubbish' because you can't bring yourself to throw it away.
While I can appreciate that, to me destashing scraps via sale better ensures the person receiving it actually wants it!
its a win/win for every party involved (including a small win for the environment) I'm currently organising to sell my own odds and ends once I've gotten what I want out of them :)
