Kseniya's videos were super helpful when I completed our applications, thanks you!! Only thing I would say in the hopes of helping others is that I wish we had submitted medical with original package. Seems like when you do, your application is processed a lot faster. But of course this is an older video and things have changed in 2023.
From the recent experience USCIS prefers to receive i-693 together with adjustment of status forms. Looks like they trying to save time and in the case if you have enough evidence about your case to prove that it's legit, they will wave the interview and give the first GC right away. I just received an rfe for my case (i filed my i-130 and i-475 seven months ago in Dallas office), so if I attached my i-693 probably I've received my first GC now, instead of RFE.

I am trusting and believing that it isn't much of an issue yet after watching this video, any need to panic? As your response will also bring about a relief at this point. Thanks aloooooooooooot!!!
Hi @KseniyaInternational, sorry to bother you with this last question, do you think USCIS will reject my child's application who is under 10yrs old since i did not include I-693 at the time of submission? I will appreciate a response. Thanks
Hi Kseniya. I love your videos and I have even commented on several other videos, mainly to ask questions regarding my own process migrating from Australia. I am grateful that I don't have to send my i-693 at the same time as my i-485. I can just do the i-693 independently and then bring the completed and sealed form to my pending interview (which I am hopeful will be in the USA and not at the Sydney consular office)
Hello, thank you. If you’ve already applied for adjustment of status you would not have a consular interview. Also, USCIS has been waiving a lot of interviews so it’s possible they will request for you to mail the medical.

However, last week I found out that I am pregnant and there are some vaccines and X-ray examination that I cannot take during pregnancy. Will there be an exemption? Or my application will be postponed? 🙏🏼 Hoping for your response!

Hi! I have a question. I’ve been married for a year now and I’ll like to change my last name to my husband's last name. Can I still change it while my case is still pending or should I wait till my green card is approved? Also, if I change it while my case is pending, will it affect or slow down my case? I’ll be so glad if you reply. Pls, I need help 🙏🏽
You can only change it when you filled out your marriage certificate. If your marriage certificate doesn't have a new last name for you, then you can't change it. If you did change it on your marriage certificate, then you were supposed to fill out your case with your new last name since that is now your legal name.
I have same confusing bc the wedding certificate (outside US) only have my maiden name. We are told that name change occur only when u advise SSA that you are now married and they ask if u want to change name. So at time of filling out form, my name has not changed bc I haven notified SSA yet that Im married and waiting for international seal on the wedding certificate
@@cheque5491hey how do you prove that so I did ask for his last name but on our marriage certificate doesn’t appear and I asked the court and said on your marriage certificate it will always indicate your family name and they told me that for change I need the SS and they’ll be in charge but when we got our m. license I did signed in the form I wanted his name.. so I’m confused hahah
@@askless from what I know, you need to indicate on your marriage license that you wish to change your last name to your husband's last name. You do this on your marriage license, the one you apply for at city hall before you get married. If you didn't indicate a name change on your marriage license, your marriage certificate after you get married won't show a new name for you. You'll still have your maiden name. If you didn't do this, you can't get a new SS card with a new name.

I got an rfe with 30 dias deadline.
Wait for a letter. To submit the aplicacion and send the medical exam seal and copie of the letter now. The not doing interviews. You recibe you green card by mail.

Hi kesinya I have a question about my moms case so I sent my mom’s i-485 and the affidavit of support. Then the next week they sent us a request of the form i-693 and it stated in the letter that to not send the form i-693 and wait for the next step. So my question is my mom’s stay is valid til next month and I don’t know what to do next because they still didn’t sent us a letter and I tried calling the USCIS but it won’t let me talk to a customer service can my mom still stay in the US with pending petition and the i-485? Any advice I really need help🥺
Hi @KseniyaInternational, I enter in K1 visa, I made this medical prior of our marriage when I enter the US. It is within the 60day window period on the submission of my AOS. I fill out the form in my maiden name, but all my applications are in my married name, would that be a problem?
@@jo1derer no it’s fine
Another question about the medical, I am spending time with both my children they are in different states, my son is the sponser I am visiting my daughter, is it ok to do your medical in a different state?
Yes
@@KseniyaInternational ok thank you, he is in Navada and she is in Seattle I was not sure if I did the medical in Seattle that it would be a problem. So happy I can do it here as I-130 is done online so want to submit soonest. Thank you again.

Are you still eligible for green card when visiting civil surgeon who fills out Form I-693 and you didn’t get the covid vaccine? Is it required to continue with your case?
Yes will have to get the vaccine 💉 unfortunately smh
Hi! I hope you can help/answer me in regards of my situation. I received an RFE last Aug2023 regarding my petitioner's tax and was able to pass that. Now March2024 I received another RFE saying 'Submit a completed form i693, report of immigrationa Medical Exam and Vacc Record' but as far as I remember the medical clinic where I came from passed that directly to the US embassy in my country. And that should be in the packet that I submitted when I entered the US, right? So should I redo the medical exam here? Or should i only pass the Vaccination record that was provided to me before? Thank you. It has been more than a year since i submitted my AOS and now another rfe after 7 mos from the first rfe. It's exhausting to wait tbh☹️ knowing that you pass everything properly.
Why did you do medical at the embassy? Was it for fiancé visa?
@@KseniyaInternational yes my visa is k1.
Hi Kseniya, do I have to print out the form i693 and bring it to the doctor to complete, or this is something that the doctors do themselves and put inside the envelope?
The doctors should have it
Is it recommended.to send the 693 form along with 485? Or do i do this exam after 485 is filed ? Please help.

Does an F1 student who’s adjusting status need to do this form too?
Yes
I just got a letter for additional evidence and they requested the medical exam
How long it took them to request you medical exam after i-30 was approved
How long did they give you to get submitted?!
Your videos have been really helpful throughout my immigration process. I tried to find answer to one question but did not get any satisfactory answer. If you know anything about it please share your knowledge. I sent my I-693 form and Tracking records show that it was delivered to USCIS. I did not get any update from USCIS regarding this. Is there any way I can find out if my medical exam was properly delivered to USCIS and is being considered?
Hello, no there is no way to tell unfortunately until you get to the interview.
Did they receive it and if yes how long after did u get a response?
I received a RFIE asking for Medical Exams. THe letter didn’t mention that my interview will be waived. Is it still possible to waive it?
Possibly. What kind of petition is it?

@Eliana Agreda They didn't send anything more. After this, they sent just an interview letter.
We have sent 485 and 864 forms around march 24th and today we have received a letter requesting a form 693 with no information on the scheduled interview. is it common practice? does it mean interview could be waived? it is for a parent. Also haven't received fingerprints request yet.
thank you, Kseniya
I received the same thing
Hi Kseniya. Ive received a request for evidence for I693 today Dec 22, 2022 from uscis.. because I didnt file it along with the I485 and other docs. I already have approved work authorization :). however i have prepared my I693 prior to receiving the notice. Do u think its still valid because the civil surgeon signed it Nov 8 2022.
Accdg to the notice deadline to submit i693 is march 31 2023
Thank u very much. Appreciate ur answer in advance. merry Christmas and Happy holidays ❤
mine was signed 3/29/2022,now there is a new form don't think the doctor knew that,
Any update?
I just received the RFE
Hello! I submitted my application without my I-693 and I just received a deficiency notice. However, last week I found out that I am pregnant and there are some vaccines and X-ray examination that I cannot take during pregnancy. Will there be an exemption? Or my application will be postponed? 🙏🏼 Hoping for your response!
Wait for next letter. And get the exam done by authorized doctor in USA.
You don’t need. X rays. And you will be ok
Hi! I believe you can still schedule your appointment with the civil surgeon and get your medical examination done. If there are vaccines, exams or any procedures that are contraindicated for pregnancy, the civil surgeon will assess and waive those. Just sharing what I read, hope everything goes well for you! :)
👋👍
@@cheque5491 omg thank you so much I think that the ladies of the court didn’t read I actually did indicated on the license
