Frequently Asked Questions: 1. You do not need a cover letter for online applications. Like I said, this is not a requirement and is simply a good idea to include with your mailed packet. 2. Your cover letter does not need to look exactly like mine. And the evidence in this cover letter will vary depending on your situation. 3. The cover letter is mainly for people applying from inside the US. Again, a cover letter is a description of paperwork in your envelope. If you’re submitting things on CEAC portal, you do not need a cover letter. 4. Why don’t I have I-693 listed on my cover letter? Because I did not send it with my I-485 application, I waited until the interview. No, you do not need to provide a copy of any vaccination records if you’re not sending your medical exam form with the packet. 5. Is this cover letter for I-130/I-485 only? No, you can use this cover letter sample for any other immigration forms, such as I-751, etc. 6. Where does the cover letter go in the packet? At the very top of all your applications, right after your payment. 7. Do you have to include beneficiary’s birth certificate under I-130 document list? No, it’s not necessary. Hi Kseniya, your videos are super informative. Like to know how and where to keep the medical exam sealed envelop in the I130, I485 and I864 concurrent filing packet.
Loved this video!!!Thank you for facilitating this cover letter sample for concurrent filing. I still have to add my specifics but it gave me the confidence to at least start it cause I really did it even know how I was supposed to do it. Also great video quality, well organized and clearly explained.
I needed something like this. I used this alongside an actual table of contents that outlines what item I had located where. I used tab dividers as well and colour coded the TOC to match the tabs with each tab having the name on them. It was easy to work with given that you provided such a lovely cover letter. Thank you!
Hi Kseniya, great video. I appreciate you doing all this work to help us immigrants file forms with confidence. I was wondering who would be the Primary Applicant and Sponsor be for when my spouse filed for I-130 online? I'm confused who the Sponsor could be because we have an Affidavit of Support from my spouse's family member instead of my spouse. Is it easier if I just changed Primary Applicant to Beneficiary/Applicant and Sponsor to Petitioner? Thank you in advance!

I have been binge watching your videos! thank you for doing what you do! question: you will have to include some documents twice? for example if we have joint tax return we can submit that as marriage evidence in i130 and again in affidavit of support? and the US birth certificate for petitioner twice? passport page of immigrant for every single form that asks for it?

Hi, thank you for these videos Kseniya, they are so helpful. I just have a question about the way you organize both of your cover letter videos. You add the photos within the applications as needed, but in your other video of how to organize the whole file you put all the photos at the very beginning? which way should we be organizing it? I think she means that the pictures are all in the front of each folder and remember to put your name at the back of each photo, so you will have at least 5 folders (i130, i485, i864, i765, i131) with the photos at the first page, that's what I did. Thank you so much for your videos!i I watched all of them and filled out my forms following your instructions and it really made things easy. I have two questions... I don't think i saw anything based on the form instructions, but is there any form of evidence (such as birth certificates, copy of passport, etc..) that would need to be submitted multiple times? (In other words, submitted as evidence for more than one document.) Also given the new filing instructions about not using hole punch, binder clips, sticky tabs, or insertable dividers, how would you recommend submitting all the forms neatly? I was thinking maybe just everything in a folder with a couple plastic bags on top for checks and passport photos. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your videos. I am filling out an I-765 for EAD renewal and assembling it all with a paper clip. What should go first, the payment form G-1450 or the Cover Letter?
Hi, she did write that answer in the comments at the top. In addition, the G form stated that it should be infront of all documents and I have read in other places that it needs to be at the front of all documents. So to answer your question, the G form comes first and next would be the Cover Letter.

I would greatly appreciate if you help me with a question, I have done the entire process with your videos and I am about to send my adjustment of status package. I have two nationalities (Venezuelan and Colombian), I am doing this process as Venezuelan because my current immigration status process is with that nationality. I wanted to know if you think I should attach a copy of my Colombian passport as well?
@@KseniyaInternational I have the doubt because on the work permit form they ask if I have another nationality. Do you think that only the copy of the passport is fine or should I also write it in additional information? Thanks for answering me, you are the best. You are my angel in this process 🥺

How did you physically package up everything? I know that you are NOT supposed to staple papers together as the USCIS will be scanning all of the documents. Do you put everything related to a specific form all together in the same envelop, or did you separate some stuff out like your passport photos and payments, and then put them together into separate envelops? Also, what did you do when two forms require the same document as evidence? For example, a copy of the Petitioner's Birth Certificate is require by both the I-130 and the I-864. Did you include two copies?
@@neekschannels No. I never did get a response to my post, but how I organized our forms seems to have worked out well, as we didn't get any complaint notices from USCIS. Actually, within 5 weeks my wife got an appointment for her biometrics interview and then her EAD (Employment Approval) card a week later. For my situation, I am a citizen and was applying for my wife and our non-resident daughter. I sent in 2 packets for each application; thus, I sent in a total of 4 packets in one big Priority Mail envelope. For the 2 applications, I included: 1) a cover letter, which summarized the documentation contained in each packet, 2) a manilla evelope packet containing my application forms and payment, 3) a second manilla envelope packet containing support documentation (e.g., copies of passports, birth certs, etc.) I repeated this model for the second application. I included all support documentation even though some of it may have been included with the first application.

I have already filed I-130 and I am working on I-485 and I-864 package. My question is do I need to file forms I-765 and I-131 when my mother do not plan to work in future and her visit visa is expiring before her plans to travel?
@@KseniyaInternational I have another question, I’m filling out I-130 for spouse I am American but only from parents I was born abroad. Hi Kseniya, I'm applying for my mother by using form i-130 + i-485 since, she is currently living with me. But my question is do I still need to include/provide all these below documents when I'm mailing the form i-485? 1. Two passport-style photos of beneficiary 2. Copy of beneficiary’s passport 3. Copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate with translation attached 4. Copy of beneficiary’s I-94 Arrival-Departure Record/visa page Affidavit of Support Documentation: 1. Completed and signed form I-864 2. Copy of petitioner’s most recent tax returns and W2s/1099s 3. Copy of petitioner’s paystubs from most recent 2 months 4. Letter from petitioner’s employer stating current pay rate and annual salary 5. Copy of petitioner’s proof of status (US Passport, birth certificate, naturalization certificate, green card) 6. Copy of petitioner’s checking & savings account statement
Yes except I-20 because thats only for people who are on a student status. Also bank account statements are optional if you’re not including your assets.
@@KseniyaInternational Thanks for your quick reply. I just have another question. What is the Petitioner's annual income needs to be in order to support my mother's application? during application of the i485, which i94 do we fill out??? the one issued to you upon entry which has currently expired or the one issued to you with the asylum grant??? please respond

@J Dangl, did you send pictures as proof of marriage and affidavits?
Am I reading this right? So, the total passport photos for the beneficiary are 6 (2 for each application) and 2 for the petitioner?
Hi do you have a video for form i129f I can't find it thanks
Thank you Kseniya. If the benefactory is an H1-B holder and currently makes 6-figures annual salary, is the form I-864 necessary ?
Your videos are great and very informative. Because of your videos I am applying for my mother on my own instead of going to a lawyer. I have already filed I-130 and I am working on I-485 and I-864 package. My question is do I need to file forms I-765 and I-131 when my mother do not plan to work in future and her visit visa is expiring before her plans to travel?
Hello, I-765 and I-131 are optional
Hi, why didn’t you add to this the I-864? Don’t I need to add the sponsor form? ❤
I did
@@KseniyaInternational I have another question, I’m filling out I-130 for spouse I am American but only from parents I was born abroad. My parents don’t have the certificate with the number and date I would need. How important is it do you think? To get a new one takes about 8 weeks! I’m thinking of applying with out it and writing NA. Is that a bad idea? Ugh I don’t know what to do.
I have to add and say you are the best thing that happened to us! Lol I was so overwhelmed and thanks to you I’m able to do this without lawyers!
If I have submitted form I-130 online already, on the cover letter of the rest of document should I mention the USCIS online account number too ?
I'm not sure if I need I130A or only the I130 can you help me with that question
Hi good morning Kseniya one question wanna aplicar from a green card. I need to have a stamps in I-94 form. And permit extend?
Hello! I love this content you help me so much ❤ I just got a question does someone know what the package will look like if I already have an I-130 approved ?
Hi Kseniya,
I'm applying for my mother by using form i-130 + i-485 since, she is currently living with me. But my question is do I still need to include/provide all these below documents when I'm mailing the form i-485?
1. Two passport-style photos of beneficiary
2. Copy of beneficiary’s passport
3. Copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate with translation attached
4. Copy of beneficiary’s I-94 Arrival-Departure Record/visa page
Affidavit of Support Documentation:
1. Completed and signed form I-864
2. Copy of petitioner’s most recent tax returns and W2s/1099s
3. Copy of petitioner’s paystubs from most recent 2 months
4. Letter from petitioner’s employer stating current pay rate and annual salary
5. Copy of petitioner’s proof of status (US Passport, birth certificate, naturalization
certificate, green card)
We (me & my wife) do joint Tax Return and my individual income is not so great but my wife's income is higher than me. So in that case what else do I need to provide to support the income?
