Great thorough review! I just can't justify the price. My $250 Garmin Instinct has great battery life, is rugged and handles water and a total beating - my main priority- and has more features than I'll ever need. That looks like such a beautiful piece of tech, but I would destroy it in months, and at that price I'd be crying!
Yeah, I have a Suunto 9 Peak and I love (and need) the long battery life. But it has like 50 other "activities" on it that I will never use. I wish they would just have a simple runner's watch with the long battery life. If I want phone notifications and music I will just take and use my phone.
The price was a necessary evil for me, because I hated my watch dying in the middle of my races, maybe it’s an OCD thing but I have to have my data complete LOL. But they should be able to make a bare-bones Garman watch that only does running stats and has a good battery like the 945

Your words are an exact reflections of my own experiences with the watch !
I guess that’s good! 😂

That’s the tough balance when there are much more affordable watches that may offer less …but more of things you don’t need isn’t helpful 😂

Nice and I completely agree, simple and cheaper
Are you able to store music on your suunto 9 peak and can you play it without your phone?
@@slickwilly6868 No, the Suunto 9 Peak doesn't have music. The Suunto 7 does, but it's battery life is much shorter.
I got a "lower end" Garmin watch. It does what I need it to but only last 12-13 hours. But I also would have a hard time with the price...

Bro Garmin fenix 6 base model and the forerunnuer 945 is same price in my area so which one is the best for a cyclist
As a distance runner I can’t speak to that, I like the 945 for the battery life and data but have never used it for anything other than running.
@@motivationtheoryrunning wow many ppl use fr 945
Is this the lte version? Coz in vid title is just 945 🤷🏻♂️
it is not the LTE, its just the Garmin Forerunner 945
