That was amazing! Your instructions were easy to follow and made it easy to make the repair. Especially appreciated showing how to take the electrical harness off and not break the clip.
Hey man sorry for the late reply so apparently they sell just the ratchet at Ace Hardware the item number is 2403681. Couldn’t find the whole set though lol
Hey boss i followed your instructions but i replaced it with a new map sensor. At the end u showed how the needle stayed under 1 is that how it’s supposed to be? Is that normal? My needle is on the line below the 1.
I have a PO420 on my 2014 and I can not get rid of it. I have replaced the whole exhaust with a new converter and I think I’m just going to have to rebuild I the whole car starting with this.
Lol damn I know that feeling, have you tried taking it to a shop and paying for the diagnostic it’s usually like 75-100 bucks. I would say try that, might save you some money in the long run. Good luck man!
Lol I’m sorry man I have been working out 😂, just remove the bolt and the electrical connector and then pull straight out, you can twist a little if you need to, it will feel like it’s stuck but it’s not it’s just the rubber o ring. Good luck man!

Hey Rory thank you so much for the comment and the love it truly means a lot. Glad I could help you!
Piece of cake! I did it and saved myself over $356 from the Hyundai dealership!
Great video. I just cleaned mine based on this video.
I’ll give this a try and come back with results
are you still alive?
Thank you for those links! Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
LIMPIAR SENSOR MAP or TPS...❤❤❤
This is really helpful, thanks for the video
Glad it was helpful!
Did you have a check engine light with a code for the MAP sensor?
Hey bud sorry for the late reply, no I did not have a code for the MAP. I actually used seafoam and gummed up the map sensor so I just replaced it.
Nice
Do you only disconnect the negative post on the battery
When you clean it and reinstall it will the code clear by itself or do you need to use a scanner?
Use a scanner or disconnect the battery for 10 min
Should I try to clean it or just replace it.
I just replaced mine, it’s not very expensive good luck!
I want that tool you have
Yeah, they don’t make it anymore 😢 but I love that thing.
Great video man thanks, whats the name of the tool? I saw above you said they dont make it anymore but you never know🙂

Yeah, that’s your idle speed. If I remember correctly with the AC off it’s usually around 700 and on around 900
So the battery must be disconnected? Help
It’s always good practice to disconnect the battery whenever working on electrical.
Thank you!
@@juangaortiz8253 no need. Once you turn off the car, electricity is cut off. what is so complicated this people?

@@LetsRepair well considering I paid a shop 1,600 dollars to fix it and it’s still coming on. With a new converter and whole new exhaust.
Did it ever stall on you while turning ?
No, but that sounds like a fuel issue, maybe fuel pump?
Or a loose crank shaft sensor
@@LetsRepairnice thanks for your opinion I’ll check them out tomorrow
I didn’t see how you removed the MAP sensor, all I saw was your arm.

Do you only disconnect the negative post on the battery
You should disconnect both starting with the Negative, but when I do it I usually just do the negative.
