Gorgeous! From someone who has used hot rollers consistently for 27 years, I’ve got some tips! A light dusting of hairspray on each section focusing on the mids and ends before rolling adds hold, and start at the top of your head and work down- opposite of using a curling iron or flat iron. Another tip might be to get another set and use less hair in each roller for longer hold and more bounce. Enjoy!
T3 blow dryer is Absolutely amazing and T3 hair straightener amazing. Have been using them for at least 20 years. I am 70yrs old and I constantly receive compliments. Not damaging and it is past the middle of my back. God Bless You All. I am ordering the curlers now.
I know! When she said she used her mom’s, i was like “yes girlie saaaame!” But i used my moms from the actual 70’s hahaha. They literally still work and they have this little paper inside that shows all these ways to place the rollers for certain looks and its so cute seeing the old big hair looks!
If you want more volume at the root, put the curler under your root (like you did for your bangs) instead of over your root. Putting the curler on top of the root flattens it.
As someone who grew up using rollers on the regular and also had very thick and dense hair, I'd recommend leaving the rollers in for a minimum of 30 minutes. Its better if you wait until they are cold to take them out.
Hot rollers were a necessity in the 80s. I still have 2 sets. Because to make it look really awesome, you need 2 sets. I also still have my Caruso curlers. Those things still amaze me. I use them all the time. People ask what I do and I just tell them, I learned hair in the 80s. If you know, you know.
Definitely t3. But I'm not convinced they are different from the Conair volume velvet flocked 5 count rollers. Same materials and a fraction of the price.
My mom put my hair up in hot rollers when I was like 5 and when she took them out I started crying at my curly hair. I thought I looked like Shirley Temple lmao. Now as a 28 year old I think I’m finally ready to try them again lol.
I feel like back in the day we didn’t know how to brush out curls. Like we left the spiral Shirley Temple curls. I don’t know what our mothers were thinking. My mom did those sponge curlers. I cringe at old photos.
Hot rollers the best. You can only get 90s blowout using rollers. No matter how expensive dyson airwrap or other hair tools, nothing can beats rollers.
Just be careful of hair damage when using this curling method (ends first), as it places the tips of the hair that are already the most fragile part of the hair right at the heat source and has prolonged exposure to heat. While the hot rollers are significantly cooler than a curling iron, still always make sure to use heat protectant when styling your hair and don't expose it to heat too often (ironing or curling every day is actually a big no-no) and you should be fine :)
So I’ve tried and tried and tried and tried again hot rollers. I don’t know what the heck I’m doing wrong. But I have figured out that my hair doesn’t hold a curl very long, so I use a very small barreled curling iron and my hair looks curly for a few hours and then it loosens to beautiful loose curls. I have thin/fine straight hair that goes below by chest.
Youve got thick healtht hair and huge sections that might be why the rolled up hair doesnt look neat but really once the result is so good it doesnt matter
"my mom's old ones from the 2000s" hit harder than it should
Came here to say exactly that 😂
Exactly...I was flabbergasted
same
Exactly I was like
Excuse me?

I feel beyond old when she says "my mom's old ones from the 2000s" 😂💔😥
Wavy hair or loose curls are superior so I get why so many people want it. She looks very beautiful with that volume and shape.
Your hair is gorgeous!
Your lucky you have such beautiful hair. I always struggled with thin hair.
You call your hair oily but your hair is so gorgeous and looks healthy

Wow the amount of her hair. Wow.
Better results than I usually get with hot rollers.
Your natural hair is so beautiful
Wow!! Great result.

I don’t understand how you rolled your bangs inward and they still look so good.
Your hair looks so healthy and beautiful.
You looked so cute with all the rollers on

What rollers are those? I’m guessing t3? Also, your hair looks immaculate for 3rd day hair.

Old ones from the 2000s I feel I’m so ancient

Hot rollers for me were a thing of the 70s 😂
Which rollers did she use? I've been looking for a good set.
Cute❤
10 minutes guys, and we sleep with it and next morning its frizzy 😂
When ppl say their hair is oily vs ppl who actually suffer from oily hair like stop plz
So I’ve tried and tried and tried and tried again hot rollers. I don’t know what the heck I’m doing wrong. Same girl it’s so frustrating. Have you tried hair mousse?
That’s third day hair? God really has its favourites.
There's look Like the same type of rollers I in 2005. The clips were the same in roll the hair the same. Even the rolling technique is the same.
Pile 3 🕊
I honestly hate the clips because I have thick hair and it just drops down with the weight .
From the 2000s…
🦋🦋🦋
do you have any tips for healthy hair growth?
Hair Care routine please☺️
"Old ones from the 2000s" ouch!
❤❤
I can't believe this is 3 day hair
Healthy hair go brrr
How do you keep your hair from sliding forward in those rollers? How do you keep the clips upright
Your rollers on the sides are sitting on top of your hair. You should roll them under the hair for root volume.
what brand did you order
Youve got thick healtht hair and huge sections that might be why the rolled up hair doesnt look neat but really once the result is so good it doesnt matter
You have to wait till your hair itself and your scalp feel cold. And you should take smaller sections.
When my hair is 'oily' it does not look like that. That is how my hair looks after a wash
what hot rollers do you use? how are they called?
I can’t use hot roller because it’s hot!!!
Straight on the christmas Wish list🤌🏼
Doesn't the oily hair smell badly? It did turn out nice though.
Big on bottom/small rollers on top.
