I don’t think the connection to Zoro being a descendent will be the big deal but the clan going to the east blue and the dojo Zoro was taught at. I mean it’ll be a big deal for the characters but nothing like sanji’s history. Oh and his original sword will come up for sure it has to, to be built up as a blade being passed down at the dojo.
I don't think he anticipated that anyone would seek to gain the swords through any methods other then trying to take them from his dead body and he probably assumed that Zoro would do his best to avoid losing his swords.

@@WASCHlaberschtU just to add to the point. we have seen zorro use shusui (black blade) against monet. it s either a big mistake of oda or black blade doesn t mean haki attributes are added to the sword or it would have cut her (it s already after the time skip. oda should know what a black blade does at this point :-) ). At this point what else can it upgrade then the physical attributes of the sword (zorro mention how heavy and hard shusui is compared to his other swords). the sword ranking is kind of weird anyway. it s good for the viewer but in the one piece world who keeps it up to date and what are the criteria for each bracket. for all we know wado could be the best O Wazamono Grade Sword and a tiny upgrade could make it one of the 12 best swords (or best 13 if the criteria are fix and not the sword number is fix) or it already is and it wasn t updated (would be weird though).
I think logically Oden wouldve atleast been stronger than Fujitora, therefore making him Admiral level which is the least requirement in power to harm Kaido.
Yeah, Oden's retainers are pretty strong, have good techniques, especially Kinemon, and they know Haki. For them to follow Oden would be similar to a Yonko and their commanders. I don't think Oden was Yonko level, but still above admiral and Yonko commander level. They HAVE to show him fighting, it would be a shame if they skipped over how he scarred Kaido.
Not going to lie you gave me an idea, what if Luffy and Zoro fight together to take down Kaido and maybe a couple others from the worst generation but also Luffy and Sanji take down big Mom maybe with a couple of guys from the worst generation. Fir example Zoro hold of Kaido while Luffy gets the major hits in and vis versa for Sanji and Big Mom leaving Ludfy to switch back and fourth into who he should attack at that moment. I would love this so much.
Here's an idea for a future video... What if Luffy didn't obtained his Devil Fruit? : Imagine an alternate universe in which the events with Luffy and Shanks still happen, but Luffy doesn't consume the Gomu Gomu no Mi. How would that change the story? Would he had learned Haki or the Six Powers from Garp instead? I think its a cool idea for a what if scenario.
I feel like the story would progress as normal for the most part, but I'm not actually sure how he would beat Eneru. It also opens up the possibility that he actually eats the Mera Mera no mi instead of Sabo.
Then he would end up getting crushed by alvida's club or getting shot by marines trying to save zoro from execution. But I guess Luffy would be way more careful with a regular body. Maybe luffy will pick up a weapon to compensate for his devil fruit.
Zoro swapping Shusui with Enma actually makes a lot of sense since Enma is the king of hell in Buddhism and a demon god or something then it definitely saying that Zoro the demon will slay Kaido the dragon which would be so cool

Yes, Zoro would trample over the beliefs of a country to keep a sword. But in this case, he 's getting a replacement, he 's getting a bunch of sword lore and possibly other reasons to let it go. So I don't think he will keep it. Also, Enma fits greatly into Zoro 's techniques that refer to east-asian religious stuff, which is an indicator (at least for me) that he will take the sword. And I believe Enma is one of the 12 top swords, or at least one of the 21 swords of 2nd grade to match Shushui. Probably 1st grade.

Speaking in the epitaph of shimotsuki but if I remember but Zoro's birthday is November 11 and with ushimaru and ryuuma looking like him and some of his attacks are references to buddhism and shintoism two religions that at the time of the samurai were interchangeable (ex. Rengoku onigiri & Kokujo Otatsumaki) with both believing in reincarnation this might be a stretch but is oda hinting that zoro is ryuma reincarnated I would love if that is the case

My take on this is that Oda did it to foreshadow Zoro acquiring enma but you can interpret it however you want. Zoro has a good reason to be so incredibly insistent on wanting Shusui, the battle and confrontation he had with reanimated Ryuma was a great struggle and was even honorably given to him by his vanquished opponent. Think if you were in Zoro's position, not only is Shusui a strong sword but there is also a vital story that's attached to it that is significant to him. Meanwhile, people just want the sword because they want to worship it or something. It's going to take some considerable persuasion for Zoro to let go of the blade he received after losing Yubashiri.
FIRST! I for one hope Zoro gets Enma and the 2nd cursed blade. Pretty sure Luffy will show up at the battle with it or another legendary sword on his waist. Zoro probably gets annoyed how Luffy finds these rare legendary things that people search all their lives for and he just stumbles upon and is like "MINE!" I don't see Zoro striking down Kaido with this sword but I do possibly see him taking down King or Big mom. I do think when it comes to Kaido we have built up a lot more of Kidd who was defeated by Kaido and his 1st mate was turned. Law who had the plan to use Kaido from the beginning, and Luffy who is fighting for his friends and for the country of Wano to be free. So I feel the battle with Kaido will be Luffy, Kidd, and Law. However we also have Big Mom so we could see Zoro, Jimbei, and possibly Sanji fighting against Big Mom. I love his sword he got from his Sensei but seeing Zoro with all 3 of the cursed blades on his hip would just be freaking epic and would be entirely in line with Zoro's character.
Luffy and zoro are both being built up right now as possibly the only two with techniques that cam hurt kaido, luffies new haki will make all of his gear 4 attacks able to penetrate kaidos scales and be far more destructive than they were before overall, and zoro is getting a sword that has scared kaido, so I feel like it will be a 2 on 1 between all of them (maybe sanji gets some new cool thing too, and possibly all the straw hats join in as well, but I really think it will definitely be both zoro and luffy)
I just wanted to suggest to maybe put up an index of the sword types when they are so heavily featured. I always have trouble to differentiate between them.
I don't have any special thoughts about the kitetsus or shusui but a thought popped up in my head when you mentioned zorro not losing wado for anything. Now I wouldn't know a good situation for it or how it would happen but what if the wado get's passed on to Tashigi. Again I have no idea how or what but if Zoro would upgrade to all three kitetsu's for example he would lose the wado. What if something happens to Tashigi's autum rain (that's her swords name right) and Zoro gives/borrows her Wado due to the whole Tashigi looks and acts like Kuina stuff. It's one of the only situations I can think off why Zoro would lose the Wado. Beside the Wado breaking for whatever reason.
Personally, the ideal ending for me sword-wise is for Zoro to return Shusui to Wano at the end of the arc, but still keep it long enough to use it in the final battle against Kaidou. Enma is known as the only blade that could wound Kaido, but Shusui is even more famous as the blade that outright *slayed* a dragon. Zoro using it to bring down Kaido would be both poetic and frame him as the second coming of Ryuma, blood relation or not. The Nidai Kotetsu should go with Zoro as well, but since he's not giving up the Wado and it's looking like he's getting the Enma to replace Shusui, something would need to happen to the Sandai Kotetsu first.
So headcanon: 1. Enma is promised to Zoro, but he keeps Shusui for now. 2. Zoro learns some new tricks /ryuou or the technique to permanently turn blades black 3. There will be a fight, maybe (like in big Hollywood story arcs) a first smaller clash with the main Villains (Kaido) that the good guys lose. Zoro uses the new technique, tries to attack an pierce Kaido and his Kitesu the third BREAKS. Maybe he gets the explainer that the meitou grade is too low for such a technique to work on the blade. 4. Skip forward, he gets Enma and replaces the Kitesu 3 with it, Kitesu 2 is lost or in the possession of Kaido after Luffy got captured 5. Big fight, Zoro uses the technique successfully and with the help of Enma he damages Kaido (fatally?). 6. Zoro gives back Shusui when the Strawhats are about to leave Wano, he gets Kitesu the second to replace Kitesu the third, technically speaking. Shusui goes to the new ruler of Wano? 7. Zoro now has three swords again, 1 of the highest grade and 2 of the second highest.
Remember that scene where a girl zombie(who hates plates, hogback's wife?), started to cry because of Chopper's plea. There's a hint that the body is capable of remembering regardless if it has different shadow.
As much as I love katanas like Shusui, Wado, Kitetsu's and Zoro's Santoryu style, it would be cool if Zoro inherited Yoru after he "beats" Mihawk. I wonder how Enma will look like? Anything a little bit unique to show it's a Saijou Owazamono. I also don't know how Hiyori has it, She probably hid it somewhere because I doubt she is carrying it. I want Zoro to use Enma but I don't know if I am okay with him leaving Shusui or even Sandai without a really good reason, Zoro wouldn't just replace his swords right? I feel like that is what Zoro is going to learn about Black Blades, Making a life long connection to your swords, The Katana's also have will and it wouldn't feel right to just replace them IMO. Whatever happens, I hope Zoro does play a big role in taking down Kaido, It would make sense to use Enma, the most powerful weapon available to him.
Yes he would, and that is something that is set up during dressrosa. I don’t know if you remember but he and Luffy stated that they were pirates not hero’s. In zoro’s case because he doesn’t wanna share sake but the exchange still stands.

the sword ranking is kind of weird anyway. it s good for the viewer but in the one piece world who keeps it up to date and what are the criteria for each bracket. for all we know wado could be the best O Wazamono Grade Sword and a tiny upgrade could make it one of the 12 best swords (or best 13 if the criteria are fix and not the sword number is fix) or it already is and it wasn t updated (would be weird though).

Yeah, Oden's retainers are pretty strong, have good techniques, especially Kinemon, and they know Haki. For them to follow Oden would be similar to a Yonko and their commanders. I don't think Oden was Yonko level, but still above admiral and Yonko commander level. They HAVE to show him fighting, it would be a shame if they skipped over how he scarred Kaido.

Not going to lie you gave me an idea, what if Luffy and Zoro fight together to take down Kaido and maybe a couple others from the worst generation but also Luffy and Sanji take down big Mom maybe with a couple of guys from the worst generation. Fir example Zoro hold of Kaido while Luffy gets the major hits in and vis versa for Sanji and Big Mom leaving Ludfy to switch back and fourth into who he should attack at that moment. I would love this so much.

I feel like the story would progress as normal for the most part, but I'm not actually sure how he would beat Eneru. It also opens up the possibility that he actually eats the Mera Mera no mi instead of Sabo.
Then he would end up getting crushed by alvida's club or getting shot by marines trying to save zoro from execution. But I guess Luffy would be way more careful with a regular body. Maybe luffy will pick up a weapon to compensate for his devil fruit.

Yes, Zoro would trample over the beliefs of a country to keep a sword. But in this case, he 's getting a replacement, he 's getting a bunch of sword lore and possibly other reasons to let it go. So I don't think he will keep it. Also, Enma fits greatly into Zoro 's techniques that refer to east-asian religious stuff, which is an indicator (at least for me) that he will take the sword. And I believe Enma is one of the 12 top swords, or at least one of the 21 swords of 2nd grade to match Shushui. Probably 1st grade.

Speaking in the epitaph of shimotsuki but if I remember but Zoro's birthday is November 11 and with ushimaru and ryuuma looking like him and some of his attacks are references to buddhism and shintoism two religions that at the time of the samurai were interchangeable (ex. Rengoku onigiri & Kokujo Otatsumaki) with both believing in reincarnation this might be a stretch but is oda hinting that zoro is ryuma reincarnated I would love if that is the case

My take on this is that Oda did it to foreshadow Zoro acquiring enma but you can interpret it however you want. Still, it’s hard to deny the implication when Zoro literally has a treasure map in his hand with the word enma on it that leads to a sword...

Zoro has a good reason to be so incredibly insistent on wanting Shusui, the battle and confrontation he had with reanimated Ryuma was a great struggle and was even honorably given to him by his vanquished opponent. Think if you were in Zoro's position, not only is Shusui a strong sword but there is also a vital story that's attached to it that is significant to him. Meanwhile, people just want the sword because they want to worship it or something. It's going to take some considerable persuasion for Zoro to let go of the blade he received after losing Yubashiri.
FIRST! I for one hope Zoro gets Enma and the 2nd cursed blade. Pretty sure Luffy will show up at the battle with it or another legendary sword on his waist. Zoro probably gets annoyed how Luffy finds these rare legendary things that people search all their lives for and he just stumbles upon and is like "MINE!" I don't see Zoro striking down Kaido with this sword but I do possibly see him taking down King or Big mom. I do think when it comes to Kaido we have built up a lot more of Kidd who was defeated by Kaido and his 1st mate was turned. Law who had the plan to use Kaido from the beginning, and Luffy who is fighting for his friends and for the country of Wano to be free. So I feel the battle with Kaido will be Luffy, Kidd, and Law. However we also have Big Mom so we could see Zoro, Jimbei, and possibly Sanji fighting against Big Mom.
I love his sword he got from his Sensei but seeing Zoro with all 3 of the cursed blades on his hip would just be freaking epic and would be entirely in line with Zoro's character.

Luffy and zoro are both being built up right now as possibly the only two with techniques that cam hurt kaido, luffies new haki will make all of his gear 4 attacks able to penetrate kaidos scales and be far more destructive than they were before overall, and zoro is getting a sword that has scared kaido, so I feel like it will be a 2 on 1 between all of them (maybe sanji gets some new cool thing too, and possibly all the straw hats join in as well, but I really think it will definitely be both zoro and luffy)
I just wanted to suggest to maybe put up an index of the sword types when they are so heavily featured. I always have trouble to differentiate between them.

I don’t want Enma to go to Momo, at least not until he grows up and can use it. If Zoro doesn’t keep Enma it should stay with Hiyori.
I don't have any special thoughts about the kitetsus or shusui but a thought popped up in my head when you mentioned zorro not losing wado for anything. Now I wouldn't know a good situation for it or how it would happen but what if the wado get's passed on to Tashigi. Again I have no idea how or what but if Zoro would upgrade to all three kitetsu's for example he would lose the wado. What if something happens to Tashigi's autum rain (that's her swords name right) and Zoro gives/borrows her Wado due to the whole Tashigi looks and acts like Kuina stuff. It's one of the only situations I can think off why Zoro would lose the Wado. Beside the Wado breaking for whatever reason.

Personally, the ideal ending for me sword-wise is for Zoro to return Shusui to Wano at the end of the arc, but still keep it long enough to use it in the final battle against Kaidou.
Enma is known as the only blade that could wound Kaido, but Shusui is even more famous as the blade that outright *slayed* a dragon. Zoro using it to bring down Kaido would be both poetic and frame him as the second coming of Ryuma, blood relation or not.
The Nidai Kotetsu should go with Zoro as well, but since he's not giving up the Wado and it's looking like he's getting the Enma to replace Shusui, something would need to happen to the Sandai Kotetsu first.

So headcanon: 1. Enma is promised to Zoro, but he keeps Shusui for now. 2. Zoro learns some new tricks /ryuou or the technique to permanently turn blades black 3. There will be a fight, maybe (like in big Hollywood story arcs) a first smaller clash with the main Villains (Kaido) that the good guys lose. Zoro uses the new technique, tries to attack an pierce Kaido and his Kitesu the third BREAKS. Maybe he gets the explainer that the meitou grade is too low for such a technique to work on the blade. 4. Skip forward, he gets Enma and replaces the Kitesu 3 with it, Kitesu 2 is lost or in the possession of Kaido after Luffy got captured 5. Big fight, Zoro uses the technique successfully and with the help of Enma he damages Kaido (fatally?). 6. Zoro gives back Shusui when the Strawhats are about to leave Wano, he gets Kitesu the second to replace Kitesu the third, technically speaking. Shusui goes to the new ruler of Wano? 7. Zoro now has three swords again, 1 of the highest grade and 2 of the second highest.

As much as I love katanas like Shusui, Wado, Kitetsu's and Zoro's Santoryu style, it would be cool if Zoro inherited Yoru after he "beats" Mihawk. I wonder how Enma will look like? Anything a little bit unique to show it's a Saijou Owazamono. I also don't know how Hiyori has it, She probably hid it somewhere because I doubt she is carrying it. I want Zoro to use Enma but I don't know if I am okay with him leaving Shusui or even Sandai without a really good reason, Zoro wouldn't just replace his swords right? I feel like that is what Zoro is going to learn about Black Blades, Making a life long connection to your swords, The Katana's also have will and it wouldn't feel right to just replace them IMO. Whatever happens, I hope Zoro does play a big role in taking down Kaido, It would make sense to use Enma, the most powerful weapon available to him.

Yes he would, and that is something that is set up during dressrosa. I don’t know if you remember but he and Luffy stated that they were pirates not hero’s. In zoro’s case because he doesn’t wanna share sake but the exchange still stands.
