My idler pulley doesn't have a wheel on it like yours...I can't seem to find instructions online on how to install the belt on my dryer setup - Roper RES7648JQ0. Anyone here have a guide or can explain on how to install the belt on my dryer? Almost time to do my laundry again, hate to go the laundry mat again.
I'm almost finished successfully repairing my dryer. I did everything until it was time to replace the front. The metal rim has a matching plastic rim. Mine is on the door seemingly attached to the heat gasket. the drum turns fine until I attach the front, so i peeled that plastic off, put it on the drum. some of the gasket is missing.that's ok for now. I need help though. my drum keeps tilting forward.
Nice vids! I reassembled my dryer and it makes grinding noise as its turning. I had also removed the rear seal/felt because it was all folded and warped. Could that be the cause of the noise? What's the purpose of that rear seal/felt?
