    Good move taking out the tension pully. I didn't think of it the first time I changed the belt 4 years ago. This guy gets a like, subscribe, beer and a shot.

    Very helpful video. My only suggestion would be to show a little more detail on the tensioner pulley for those that can't see that well. Other than that, thanks for the HELP...

    Thank you so much for sharing this video. Yesterday I forced the belt to pop out of place by manually turning the inside of the dryer drum. Big mistake. Putting the belt back was so easy with your video instructions. The only thing that was difficult for me. I couldn't align tthe front door back on the small brackets on bottom front side. I could only get one side at a time. So I laid it on its back and was able to finally get the front door aligned on the brackets. It's working just as before thanks to your video. Thank you again. 😊

    I can't imagine how much money this saved me. My pulley and wheels were over 20 years old so I replaced them all. The kit for everything cost $50. All works well. Thank you!

    Used Rock and Roll dry chain lube on wheels and added thermal insulation to the outside of the drum. MUCH quieter now.

    This video was very good at explaining step by step on replacing broken dryer belt. I have an old whirlpool which is a lil different than one explained but worked just the same. Thank you so much I still have my old old dryer. I don't like the new appliances. Yeah 👏👏👏

    Use a bungee cord to hold the drum in place, fastened to the rear of the cabinet, gives you two hands for the repair.

    I was doing this by myself. Once I got the belt around the drum, I propped the front of the drum up with a bleach bottle on it's side. Then ran the belt around the rocker arm. Once that was done I could get up and hold the drum with one hand and put teh front on with the other

      I used a wire , tied to one of the baffle screws on drum. Whatever works !

    You can put soap on the wheels like ivory white soap, in bar form Has stopped the squeaking for a time on car belts dryer belts all kind of belts for me. Better than belt dressing in my opinion but it does not last in belt dressing really has not worked for me

    I wish you would have illuminated the area where you attached the belt to the pully system. Can you explain how you did that?

      It goes under the white pulley in a loop and around the motor.

      The belt goes under the white pulley in a loop and the loop hooks to the motor pulley. Hope this helps.

    So I did put everything back in place tensioner and connected the belt to the gear however when I turn the dryer the tensioner gets out of place could this be that I did not seat the tensioner correctly
