    The emphasis on the ⬆️ is something I need to get back to. Last year I was hitting bombs by following your instruction. But I went back to my short and over the top swing by the end of the year and lost all my distance. Really important lesson here.

    Just a quick note to say thanks Dr Kwon. I'm 55 yrs old, and in about 10 days I've added circa 8mph on Club head speed. I'm still at a miserable 91mph, but I have plenty to work on now, with a clear plan of what needs addressing. Love these videos!

    Dr. Kwon,
    The last couple of minutes of the video is great explaining transitioning from Stage 3 to the regular swing. You should edit it down to that explanation and drills and publish it as a separate video dedicated to that transition

      Thanks! I've been lazy in developing videos focusing on drills.

      @@drkwongolf what you did for her was perfect. you could just use the last few minutes of it like you do the before and after videos. I am just afraid people might not watch the entire video and they are missing a gold mine!

    Amazing video, Dr. Kwon!
    I have some questions:
    1) I see that you emphasize on faster backswing, but I wonder if the backswing can ever be too fast? At what point would increasing the speed of the backswing give diminishing returns?
    2) Does faster backswing make the transition time window smaller, so your timing for the matured transition has to be more accurate the faster you backswing?
    3) Since most people often transition too early, does the concept of transitioning too late exist and what would it look like?
    Thanks for these great videos!

    • @drkwongolf
      @drkwongolf  Рік тому +2

      When the transition becomes unstable due to the speed of the BS, it is too fast. It also depends on the way one does the BS. When the club crosses over, it is hard to speed up the BS.
      Fast/mature BS actually should give more time for the transition. Most people tend to rush down to DS than having too much time in the transition.

    Love these videos. Quick question: why are these always done with a driver instead of something like a 7iron?

    • @drkwongolf
      @drkwongolf  Рік тому +1

      It is easier to develop the pattern with the driver. The new pattern also easily transfers to the iron swing. Not the other way.
