Yo hi it's me again and 2 of my praying mantis egg hatched and went out so that's why i need your information.Do i need to feed them now or can i just spray them with water until all the egg haches and then start feeding them?!?!
Does anyone know how many i can or should keep per container. Do they have to be alone, or can i put them with more in one container if so, till when? Can they stay in the same enclosure together even after they are fully gorwn ?
I would avoid putting them together, and I’d recommend keeping them separate throughout all stages of life. But there is kind of an exception. When they are pretty tiny still, and they are really well fed, they likely won’t attack each other. If you need to do this, I would say separate them as soon as they become different sizes unless you don’t mind the smaller one becoming dinner.
Perfect. We're currently "expecting" and this is exactly the info we needed!
Thank you so much!! This is my first time owning mantises and my egg just hatched, very informative content! :)
Great video very informative on the varieties of feeder insects that work best for different ages of mantids that's gonna be helpful for my first one!

What about grasshoppers? I know the Praying Mantises in my garden love eating them. In the adult stages of course.

After they hatch can I feed them like dead mealworms or something?!?!
They will only eat live bugs unfortunately
