Another awesome find! Great narrative of its unique history, preservation and ongoing use. Thanks for also including the sketch of the old structures and video of the new church.
Your tours give an immersive feeling. I enjoyed the experience of feeling the spiritual essence of the church. Interesting historic photo in of the church before it was moved. Nicely done ⛪👌👌
Pretty interesting story and quite the feat moving most of the church to another location. The remain inside look lovely and great that it's still used once per month. Interesting tour 👍
Hi Cara, what a shame about the flooding but how wonderful the church was saved! it's incredible how they dismantled and moved most of the church to the new location. A labour of love, that's for sure. Great too that part of the church was left in its original location. Loved this story. Thank you for sharing it with us ❤
Sorry I was absent for the premiere Cara my Granddaughter had her lifeguard Cadet graduation in the morning! I was so proud of her ❤ This is such a lovely church with such remarkable history…it’s amazing how it was moved piece by piece and put back together so beautifully…. You gave such an incredible commentary 👏🏻 you do such a wonderful job! Thank you 😊 for sharing so many interesting places with us ❤
Such a beautiful church and greenery nature areas, cool shots, and atmospheric view. The scenery here is so majestic, my good friend. I hope you always have great footage to serve your fans. Keep it up.
Hi Cara sorry we missed the prem living it large in Garda. We survived the 🇮🇹🐻 currently at the airport!. This is a lovely site! What a quaint little church! As always superbly narrated great history! 👍❤️
What an undertaking that must have been to move the church. Such an interesting history. It's lovely inside and glad it's still used. Great video Cara. Take care 🧸 🐻
Hello Cara, a very interesting history about how the church had been moved, the inside of the church was beautiful, a lovely little church, , take care have a good week x Julie and Tony x
Enjoyed this very much Cara, interestingly how they removed and reconstructed it elsewhere. Beautiful though. I love the shape it holds today, stunning and unique! Very muh liked the inside, very cute and preserved. Wonderful video!!
Hi Cara. Interesting story about the church. I enjoyed the history of how they moved the church…can’t imagine how difficult it was to move the stone pieces. It’s a lovely church in the country. Thank you! 👍😊🇨🇦
What remains of the church, looks like its own building. It must be hard to find, it is well hidden with the trees all around it. Cool that you were able to get inside the church.
I am so sorry I have been so busy I have missed lots and lots on youtube. Finally got around to watching Cara. Fantastic video. This is amazing. That this little bit is still here. So glad it is. . The Thames always floods. It's even flooded maidenhead before. I wonder who made the final decision and who dismantled the church. That is one hell of a job!
what a pretty little church and stained glass windows (or what is left), cara! i can't imagine moving a stone church. o loved seeing the comparison original drawing. the one door looks purple, is that just natural or do you think it was painted at one point? have a lovely week! 🛴❤
I think with the door, it might have changed over time, not sure it was painted. Its a beautiful church or what remains but i loved the story of it. thanks for watching
Thank you for featuring this redundant church - I wonder if any other UA-camr has done so before? Older churches do seem to be built on higher ground ( never sure if this is to be nearer to God,to ensure no flooding or because of tales of the devil moving the building tools etc to elevated sites). It must have gotten worse with time for the villagers to commit to moving the church - such a complex task! And thanks too for making the photo comparison of the two- that helps to put it in perspective for me- I have zero imagination- really!
Thank you so much 😄😄, I can't wait to see your footage.
🙂
Very beautiful
