Hi Cara this truly is a gorgeous church! The architecture inside is beautiful with the wooden beams and that fabulous organ! Thanks for showing us and narrating perfectly the history! Hope you have a good week and haven’t blown away with Darragh 🫢❤️
A stunning church Cara 😊 the woodwork inside was so lovely and I just love those big organs in churches like this. Your narrative was fantastic as always.
It’s a honor and privilege to have the opportunity to see and hear about so many of the historical places you visit. I can only imagine what it must be like to walk around these places with a sense of awe, wonder and amazement. Bless you. 🙏
such a beautiful church in Wiltshire. This is an old one with ancient architecture, and the surrounding views of the church are stunning. Thank you for sharing and filming for us
Hello Cara, this was a lovely Church and the inside was really detailed and loved the ceiling. Very interesting history Cara, thank you for a lovely video x Julie and Tony x
Hi Cara, this was such a beautiful little church. It was lovely to hear John Betjeman's poetic and profound words. I didn't realise that in medieval times weddings often took place at the church door. Thanks for sharing so many fascinating facts with us. Have a great week ahead 😊🩵
Oh wow! A stunning parish church, enjoyed listening to it's history. The exterior is very beautiful, but that interior is gorgeous. Loved to see the 14th century paintings, they are always so fascinating. Beautiful windows too. Thank you for the excellent video.
This is a wonderful church. It is very pretty, I love the architecture & the windows are lovely. Wow I didn’t realise that Cara. All the bones piled up 😮 Gorgeous inside. Thank you for shari g 😊💕
May I say ( and start with saying) that I love your editing. `the presentation of any video sets the tone and you do that very well. Lovely church and so much history and information. It was lovely visiting this church with you. Sending loving thoughts. 🥰🥝🙋♀🇳🇱
What a stunning church! The architecture and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, and it’s easy to see why it could be considered the most beautiful in Wiltshire. The details, history, and peaceful atmosphere make it truly special. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us!Best wishes, Chiara & Donato Fuoridalsentiero.
Thank you Cara for another excellent video. I got to see Mildenhall by bus when I traveled out to Ramsbury last year. Since it was a family surname, I’m sure they must have lived there for ages. Have to track down generations before the 1500’s to figure that out! Love the shadows of the paintings. Would have been cool to see them new. ❤❤❤
i'm sure it hard, alot of marriages were not always recorded. village were often named after the land owner, is that the case for you? thank you for your support xx
I never knew weddings used to take place at the church door- fascinating find! I’m afraid I don’t know very many Wiltshire churches- I like visiting churches but they are usually in places I go on holiday! So I am not able to comment on this one! It is unusual in that it still has its box pews. I guess all the medieval churches were painted to instruct the parishioners on the Bible. Very often destroyed by the Puritans & later the Victorians. Thanks Cara for the opportunity to visit this lovely church.
Thank you, it is lovely church and it’s a shame that most painting I churches were painted over. I’m sure they would have be colourful in there days. 😊
Interesting again. Didnt know Mildenhall is pronounced Minal. The Lychgate at Beckenham Church near me in south London is supposed to be the oldest in England (13th Century)
Beautiful video! 👍💙

Ey up me duck.
It's definitely a beautiful church but then I'm very biased where old churches are concerned 🙂 👍
