- Summerslam 2023 is in just a few days and the card looks very strong with the possibility of the show being one of the better ones this year in the WWE. Two huge world title matches, an MMA rules match, Ricochet vs Logan Paul and so much more. In this video I discuss the upcoming summerslam and my thoughts on the event.

Definitely Finn should win the world title but considering Hunter's booking till now he rarely cares about moments he's more focused in the lengthy title reigns which makes me think Rollins will retain and if does I'm excited to see who he feuds with next Nakamura, Mcynityre, Bronson.
This year is definitely looking to be one of the most exciting SummerSlam events ever. The highly anticipated SummerSlam 2016 rematch with Seth and Finn, the potentially amazing spectacle that can be Ricochet Vs Logan Paul, and dude, Tribal Combat. That right there, is gonna make this show special. All eyes are gonna be on that match, and I pray that they can nail this one. Here’s hoping this Saturday delivers on everything🤞🙏.
Yeah it looks like a great card. Also Cody vs Brock yes the story isn't that interesting but they could have an excellent match.

@@Hajun554I really can't see Logan loosing here. He is a mainstream star, and I'm pretty sure that both Vince and Paul think that this is more important than Ricochet's skills, and I'm not saying that they are wrong. Also, it's not that Paul isn't good, but Ric is on another level.

Considering how great SummerSlam has been for the past few years, I wont be suprised if this years show succeed aswell.
Considering that Jey started the whole thing, and it would be fitting for him to end it aswell, He would probably not win the match but they are going to deliver a show for sure.

Here's my take, it's pretty hard to imagine them doing an abusive relationship story and have the abuser win, that's what I see Roman and Jey as
WWE hates happy endings and this is an opportunity to make the next guy with romans reign. Jey is great but he is never gonna be John Cena, he’s never gonna be hulk hogan and he’s never gonna be Steve Austin

This could probably be one of the best summerslam PPV events of the year. The way how I see it, Damien Preist is gonna try to cost balors opportunity for the seths title because last night you can tell Finns actions to how he looked at the briefcase when Preist is about to cash in saids it. Maybe will probably have JD mcdonah interfere to make it interesting.

If you told me in 2014 that Roman vs Jey would be the main event of summer slam and it would actually have an amazing build and three year Roman title reign on the line, I would laugh in your face

My excitements for the show are mostly for Drew McIntyre vs Gunther for the match potentially being one of this year's best matches and Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso because of the storyline and the match will deliver a ton of great storytelling.
I have a fine hype for Logan Paul vs Ricochet that could also steal the show, Seth Rollins vs Finn Bálor because the storyline with Damian Priest is pretty intriguing.
I have little hype for Asuka vs Bianca Belair vs Charlotte Flair. The build-up has been trash and we saw that Asuka and Bianca Belair don't have the best chemistry but I guess it will be good. I'm kinda intrigued by Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler and the stipulation but at any moment it could be the stinker of the show, we don't know.
And I have 0 hype for Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes and the SummerSlam battle royal lol.
But overall, should be a very good show.

It feels a little bit like they had a cut a few matches that were intended for the show to avoid the card being overbloated. Becky vs Trish and Rhea vs Raquel have both been pushed back until after Summerslam for their feuds to wrap up. Hopefully this means that the actual matches on the card get quality time.

The one thing they could've done better was make brock and cody a 3 stages of hell match or some sorta gimmick match

One ting that I could see is Finn Balor winning the title from Seth thanks to Damian Priest being on the side of the ring with the case.
Then, in the main event, after Jey superkick on Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa doing his samoan spike on Jey. The Judgement would come, sending Solo Sikoa out of the ring, and Damian Pirest cashing on Jey to steal the Title.
Roman would still want to settle things with Jey who made him loose his title and The Jugdement day would all have title around their wraist.

I already know the start to SummerSlam... Logan enters, very confident of defeating Ricochet and leaving quickly for the Jake fight, starts an instagram live stream, while in the ring, and then Ricochet's music hits, but he doesn't come trough the entrance, he sneaks up on the springboard, behind Logan, and he realizes this while being live with a selfie type camera on ig live. Remembers me of the start to Angle vs Mysterio in 2002
Finn should win he will be great heel champion as judment day is on top and it would be really interesting to see finn and priest angle
Gunther is the only man that can hold the world title and beat Roman finally

It’s understandable to why we’re having a battle Royal at summerslam mainly because of la Knight. But hearing that one of the women matches being cut out of the card is just dumb, now Becky and Trish isn’t really much of a match for me the way how the build up is but Becky winning over Trish should’ve at least happened. Plus a PPV event with NO raw women’s title on the line but a triple threat for the undisputed title instead that explains it because knowing Vince and Paul 3 He’s they want charly flair at the show😅😂

Finn should win but then Damien cashes in, Leaving him with another incomplete title run. Making Damien a huge heel and finn a huge Babyface. And at royal rumble 2024 Finn and Rollins are the final two remaining and from there Finn wins the rumble and wins the championship at WrestleMania 40 and finally gets a proper title run.

Heres the thing with jey defeating roman, as much as earlier in the reign i was saying whoever defeats roman should be the new face of the company, as of right now, and going back as far as survivor series, i just don’t really care that match about who’s next and what their title run will be like. Jey has the talent and charisma, maybe not the same level of aura, but ive been a fan of the bloodline because of its focus on pure storytelling and character arcs, and who’s next being the face of the company i just don’t care about. The WHC can be the next face as far as I’m concerned, i think a satisfying conclusion to this saga is more important
This kinda sounds cool to me. Have Roman beat Jey clean. Then set up a hiac match between Roman and solo vs the USOs at a future ppv. The problem with this is that we already got a USOs vs Roman and solo match at mitb

Jey doesnt need to be the next guy. Roman is still the face of the company if he loses. John Cena lost plenty of titles while he was the guy. Roman will win the title back if he loses it.
I think Jey ending the story is exactly what is needed, and i dont think the story ends. Roman wanting his title back, Solo wanting to get involved, maybe even Jimmy gets involved and gets greedy and wants the title. There is alot they can do with Jey winning still without the pressure needing to be on him to be the face of the company. And the story is already there so i also dont think it would be anything like Kofis title reign.
Paul just last week stopped carrying the other titles around. Its only the 1 title now. I think this is so we are used to them not being there when Jey wins, Jey Uso next world champ!!!
In the tribal combat, Priest should do an attempted to cash in, to add to the paranoia to Roman, to remind the entire Bloodline that you may have your family feud™ but I am the MITB and you should keep your surroundings in check.

I think Finn wins and Seth takes time off since he said he was really beat up and might need surgery so you give him time off and then he returns maybe starts a chase for the title again idk but after all he’s done he deserves time off

The only real reason people sat "Gunther." Is because of the record. That's it.
Everyone says it won't hurt Drew but he has literally lost matches for every championship for the past 2 1/2 years. It has taken a toll on his character, then they throw jobbers like Jinder and Baron at him just for an easy win.
I think-especially with the work he has put in- that Drew has earned the right to win this title and it would have much more significance than a temporary record that will likely end up getting broken anyway

I think finn should beat Seth and keep the title. But also I think ricochet should beat Logan and enter the main even scene because raw doesn't have that many faces right now that could challenge Finn Balor. Drew is gonna win the IC title so I'm not counting him so that leaves Seth, Sami, and maybe Chad gable considering he is a fan favorite right now with alpha academy.

bruh, you hit the nail on the coffin. They have forgotten what has happened these past 3 years. Jey was forced into the bloodline due to Roman choking out Jimmy and making Jey say I Quit. He never joined because he had faith in Roman or anything. They just rewrote history. Ruined the build up for their match for me.

Logan Paul has lost his last 2 big matches against Roman and Seth. I dont think Ricochet needs to protected much so he can take the L against Paul.
I hate comparing Kofimania to the Bloodline story. One has been 3 years of a constant build the other was the fans wishing to see a fan favorite get his moment. Not the same

With this ending another star is made who isn’t part time which everyone complains about anyway. But I believe Triple H can build off this unlike Vince who had 2 shots with Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston
