Wrestling was been very great for a while now. Especially in 2022 & this year. Banger WWE PPVs, The Bloodline storyline, LA Knight being over, CM Punk back after the media scrum, etc. What a time to be alive.
As a literal lifelong fan of 30 years, I can confidently say this is the best time to be a wrestling fan. There's something for everyone. Even outside of WWE and AEW. And it's all so accessible. You know how many times I dreamed of being able to watch WrestleMania on my GameBoy as a kid? Now I basically can. Not only that, but I can basically watch any match from any promotion in a near INSTANT. Then I can go on UA-cam or Twitter or Reddit and talk about what I just watched, or what I'm currently watching, with the entire world. Man, I would've KILLED to have this type of access to wrestling when I was a kid.
WWE has been pretty consistent this year, especially when it comes to the pay-per-views. Every PPV this year has delivered bangers. The stories, like Sami turning on Roman, Backlash 2023, the Usos leaving the Bloodline, celebrity appearances from the likes of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, the rise of characters like LA Knight, the presence of factions like the Judgment Day, and well-booked babyfaces like Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes, has made the product enjoyable to watch.
"So screw all that tribalism shit. So let's all appreciate how good we have it now." Well said, Pav! It's good to see there's two wrestling companies thriving. Neither are perfect and have major flaws. But flaws aren't always bad as the good things is why wrestling is thriving. I'd actually love to see a 3rd or even 4th company become major one day. Competition is healthy.
Dude your brainwashed I don’t get what’s so exciting about what you see on screen now shit isn’t close to being as good as it was when cena was the face of the company
@@M._mkid so basically tribalism in wrestling is when a fan is SOOOOO loyal to a promotion. usually they'll go to great lengths to defend that one promotion they're a fan of, and totally disregard or hate on the other. like you could say you like WWE, and someone who super duper prefers AEW is like "that's not REALLY pro wrestling, it's just sports entertainment" or something like that idk. and vice versa, if a WWE fan tried to tell you that all that high-flying and whatever isn't real wrestling. hopefully that made sense!
The biggest difference is simply that the product is finally listening to the fans. Vince for the longest time ran the company with an iron fist and often did things out of spite or as a pure power trip. HHH knows the business inside out and what makes it great and is putting it in the forefront. You listen to him during the post PLE pressers and you can tell he has a deep appreciation and knowledge for wrestling. As long as Vince doesn't get in the way, we're in for some very good years of high quality wrestling.
@@sarahfortune7760Sorry dude but when it comes to the "it" nobody has an eye for it like McMahon in the business. Hogan, HBK, Austin, The Rock, Cena and Roman were chosen by McMahon as the faces of the company in their times. Sure there were times when it failed like the Lugers. HHH doesn't seem like he has that so far hell the people that were released under McMahon and returned under HHH only have proven that McMahon was right to release them. McMahon and HHH need to be like Parcells and Bellichick one focuses on creative and the other one on talent.
@@petersonofleo11bro we get it , vince is still the best cuz we got the attitude era because of him but vince has lost the touch with booking since 2008 when the pg era started. Just compare 2019 and 2022-2023 of WWE. Vince is still the best but he has lost touch big time.
2020's decade has been Amazing for wrestling so far. Banger PPV's,Roman's heel turn,Bloodline storyline,Edge's return,Cody's return to WWE,CM Punk's return, Stone Cold having a match after 19 years,Celebrities giving great matches,LA Knight getting super over,Dom's hell turn, etc. In short wrestling is surely booming right now.
In my opinion, i think this wrestling ‘renaissance’ began around 2015/2016 when guys like Seth Rollins, Kevin owens, zayn, etc. entered the main event picture. NXT black and gold was in peak form, and omega and bullet club were establishing themselves in New Japan. Match quality throughout the business improved tremendously during this time and has evolved to a level i honestly never thought wrestling could reach. The amount of athletism displayed in todays era and throughout all companies is absolutely incredible. Just glad we stuck it out all those years of the PG era because it certainly was rough
It's been ages since wrestling has felt like something to invest time into (not because youre already sucked in by past moments but because you actually care about a lot of wrestlers in the business right now) I hope it stays that way, a new mainstream era would be nutty
@@pleaseshutup7053A Boom period is when you start making sales records after sales records, selling out arenas, making unprecedented revenues and reaching all time merchandise sales which is exactly what is happening now. Yet they have the least name recognition in history. Guys like Cena, Orton, Edge, Batista, Brock, Rey, etc… are bigger names in wrestling than the wrestlers today. They are way more famous.
I wonder why almost nobody mention that fact. And before someone brings and excuse like there weren't many mainstream figures in Pro Wrestling, there was a time that Pro Wrestling world champion had the same notoriety that boxing Heavyweight Champion of the world. Just to name some big names of the past, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Ed Lewis, Joe Stecher, Jim Londos, Lou Thesz, Gorgeous George, Karl Gotch, Bruno Sammartino, Billy Graham, Verne Gagne, Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, David Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, Andre The Giant, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Tommy Lister, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Sting, Vader, Steve Austin, The Rock, Goldberg, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio. Man what a time to be alive as a wrestling fan. Wrestling on every week, and we get a lot more high quality output than low quality and there are stars being made, stories with great payoffs, and PPVs that are good to great to outstanding.

@@eixd3396 I been watching wrestling since birth. my dad is actually the one who got me into wrestling. He was a long time wrestling fan but nowadays he only really watches the PPVs.
The same thing is happening with my two favorite videogame series: Street Fighter and Final Fantasy. It’s crazy how the respect and growth of these IPs alongside wrestling has been growing in 2023
Hopefully video games start to do the same thing and maybe we get a new WWE game with the here comes the pain engine with the current stars imagine how a Animated curb stomp would look like
The late 2010's were probably the most frustrating years to be a fan. The ratings dropped big time, watching 5 hours of Shows like Greatest Royal Rumble, people didn't want to come to the shows (remember Stomping Grounds? That ho looked like Roddy Piper at Mania 6 😭) and a lot of potential Main Eventers wasted. The 2020's are the exact opposite and It's just fun. Fr I haven't had this much fun watching wrestling since the time Jeff Hardy was World Champ
@@Lagaming25 Fall 2018 was by far the rock bottom of the modern era, and I say this as someone who literally discovered wrestling in that period. Late 2019 was when things started to slowly change towards the better until Wrestlemania 38 which is the date I like to consider as the beginning of the modern days golden era.
As someone who got into wrestling last year, the roster has so many great wrestlers with great love and care for the industry that you can feel the love put into it.
I was gone from watching wrestling from 2018 to mid 2022 when I came back to watch Summerslam and I’m so glad I came back to watch WWE. It feels so surreal how these storylines and rivalries feel genuine. I love it right now
Saw someone with a John Moxley shirt the other day and it absolutely shocked me. I live in Brazil and wrestling is not popular around here, so seeing a dude with a John Moxley shirt of all people was quite a surprise. Even I don't have any wrestling shirts and I watch both WWE and AEW for years.
special mention to LA Knight getting the biggest pop every week and Dominik Mysterio getting MASSIVE BOOS. fans are very connected to their characters. Thank you Papa HHH
Honestly it's worth noting that even impact (yes TNA) are also actually putting really good matches lately, their knockout's division is just amazing so far and their main event stars are just great! started watching again for a good while now and it's actually pretty good rn! Is it 2004-2009 TNA? no of course not and frankly i don't think it will ever reach that ever again. But it's just great to see AEW, Impact, and WWE just having really good matches rn
NWA Powerr (Billy Corgan; minus Dave Lagana), House of Glory (HOG: with rapper Master P), NJPW (Strong: a California dojo), MLW (Major League Wrestling) and the XPW/ECW-like GCW (Game Changer Wrestling) too !

WWEs definitely not dying, in fact they’re pretty good sometimes. But it certainly doesn’t get me excited like the attitude era and ruthless aggression era.
i didnt become a real wrestling fan until a few weeks ago and i honestly cant even imagine trying to get into in the dark years a few years ago..... im glad ive found this gem of a sport now and not later ❤️
i thought i was the only one who noticed WWE seems really popular in the mainstream now. these days you can ask a random person about WWE or wrestling and they’ll most likely know or be into it
@@cerebralassassin117 That goes for any sport that isn't football. No sport has created a worldwide known Megastar in the past 5-6 years. It's a global issue mainly linked to the much wider landscape to look to. It's similar to the supposedly low view ratings if confronted with 10 years ago, when WWE would do 4 milion TV views on average and people use that to say how It's worse now. It's not. It's just that much less people watch TV in general, literally any TV program is doing much worse than how it used to in that sense

I’m so happy that kids today will look back at this and be like “bro remember the bloodline storyline, man good times.” Or look back on other things like “Judgement Day were pretty fire back in the day.”
we will if they don't continue to drop the ball with the judgment day i mean damien has the contract but they seem to be involved in far more loses than wins
I don't forsee both being remembered as fondly as time goes on. They've dropped thee ball with the judgement day pretty bad for the most part and the bloodline story relies a lot on recency bias. I think bloodline story will be remembered fondly but not as praised as it is now.
From 2018-2020 i stopped watching wrestling. I’d only watch Wrestlemania or Royal Rumble, but it wasn’t until RR 2021 when Edge won that caught my eye. Seeing the buildup and anticipation for Edge to win back the world title he never lost was so awesome. Just to have a dominant Roman Reigns that was actually killing it as a character beat him. That was awesome too, then the PPV that really got me back into it was MITB 2021 when Rollins cost Edge the match and Cena returned after. From that point on i’ve been watching weekly like I used to do during 2013-16. I haven’t enjoyed pro wrestling like this since the yes movement and oh my lord is it nice to have a company like AEW rival WWE. Even the indies are awesome with the likes of Matt Cardona.
For Wrestlemania 39 I had a big watch party at my house and it was a great time and it’s crazy to think at one point it used to be embarrassing to admit to even liking wrestling.
Definitely the best year/era since The Attitude Era. The bloodline story consistently pulling in an additional 400-500k viewers when it's announced, an actual face of the company that can actually draw alot of money via Merchandises, views, and butts in the seats, the Judgement day being one of the most relevant factions ever, Gunther's historic and iconic IC Reign, the woman roster being the most STACKED it's ever been within it's insane talent in Belair, Flair, Lynch, Stratus, Ripley, Asuka, Damage CTRL, with some addition of legitimacy (Ronda, Baszler), The commentators has never been this good before, the continuous huge crowds WWE has been getting especially these Pay-Per-Views even with just Roman Reigns on the card is ENORMOUS, The bloodline story alone has put over Owens, Zayn as the Unified Tag Team Champions and also making them main eventers themselves, The USOS doing the best works of their career not just with their recent historic tag title reign but also the bloodline story, upcoming huge talent in Solo Sikoa, the rise of Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar still doing Box Office draws even with his 20th year of appearance and being past his prime, the L.A Knight hype and momentum, possibilities of huge returns in Orton, Rock, The insane talent pool of NXT stars, NXT peaking in draws(Merchandise, Attendance, Views) the continuous mainstreaming of WWE and even their own rival AEW is doing amazing. Highest draws since it's founded, CM Punk Returns, Rise of MJF, former WWE stars being known and acknowledged.
I'd say ruthless aggression overall was better than today's era too tbh. The natches were overall better he had multiple good stories rather than just one or two
@@cerebralassassin117 Ruthless aggression era is overrated. The storys were no where near the bloodline, Rhodes' story. The mid card titles were treated as trash in Ruthless aggression era. But I guess since RA era was 6-7 years long it is very easy to say it had some weak points.
@@saviobenitez4710smackdown from the RA era kinda was, but it was still much better than anything we have today, plus RAW from 2002-2005 blows today's wrestling out of the water, and don't get me into that HHH bullshit argument because I know, that is the only thing that sucked from that time, but the rest the show was kickass, Great roster, Great GM, great set, kickass theme, everything besides HHH's shovel was great, and to be honest, i rather watch again HHH's shovel times than this boring ass Bloodline Reigns storyline, at least HHH was a true heel who could legit get some heat. And btw Evolution>> The Bloodline
Even my cousin started watching smack down again because of the bloodline and that is also what got me back into wrestling. Mostly watch smack down and ppv’s since they are on peacock. Love the what I am watching, keep it the awesome work
SummerSlam 2014 was the last time I felt energetic about the WWE. It wasn't until Cody Rhodes returning at last year's WrestleMania that I felt a spark of life. Ever since that moment, the WWE has not looked back. I'm not including NXT bc NXT I was so excited and passionate to watch that show in the black and gold era.
My girlfriend called me a nerd when we started dating for watching wrestling now she will actually watch a show by herself she’s so invested in the bloodline and the judgement day. Her and I have watched almost every premium live event this year it’s crazy how far she’s come along.
Watching wrestling since 2003 And i have to say this is indeed the best time❤ And it's not just WWE and AEW, we have so many other options as well to look upon Whether it's funny, silly, goofy, cringy, serious etc whatever, wrestling is really a fun time now
Bro this is the kind of take I’ve been looking for for a long fuckin time. It’s an amazing time to be a wrestling fan right now and there’s always something great to watch no matter your preference on what style of pro wrestling you find most entertaining. If everyone from old-school Jim Cornette mega fans, to people who only tuned into AEW to see what Kenny Omega and the Bucks cosplayed as this time, or people who just tune in to see Rey Fenix, Vikingo, or Ricochet do some gymnastics, if they all just set down their negativity and tribalism for companies and each other, and just watched any promotion for individual wrestlers and storylines they enjoy, the wrestling world would be so much better.
I stopped watching in 2013 because I got older and didn’t like anything going on at the time. Started watching again in 2020 and holy shit this is one of the best times to be a wrestling fan.
Not trying to be negative but wrestling is not booming. Fans aren't coming back or new fans aren't coming in. Back in the day, you can talk about wrestling with almost anyone but now nobody really knows about wrestling besides us who were already here

Very well said, I’m enjoying the current WWE product as much as I have in 15 years… Between The Bloodline & The Judgement Day, I can’t remember it being so consistently good.
Though I don’t know who 90% of the wwe roster is, I still find myself looking at highlights and segment pieces every week to see what’s been going on with the bloodline as well as cody and lesnar
Thank you triple h & Shawn Michaels for making the main roster & nxt watchable again dx entertaining us on screen & fast forward to today they are entertaining us behind the scene
Remember that 2016 RAW stage they had after the draft but before SummerSlam? I wish WWE brought back that stage for Mondays and the late 2019 through early 2020 SmackDown on Fox set for Fridays again
Also, while one of the main catalysts was HHH taking over, i think WWE as it came out of the pandemic really heloed it. 2021 around when Roman established the Bloodline, feuding with Edge, Daniel Bryan, Cena, that was when WWE really went on the upswing around then. They didnt really BOOM until mid 2022, but its been going up since the pandemic.
I'd say it "boomed" when sami joined the bloodline on the wwe side of things. Before that people were sick of the bloodline and wwe didn't have anything really going on. The aew side started to boom once punk came back in 2021.
I've been watching WWE since early 2016 ish and I remember the glory years that where 2016 and 17 with the draft etc, then I saw WWE go into an era of decline and it was saddening to see the general interest (including my own) decreasing rapidly, Shortly before mania 39 I started catching up again and it brings a smile to my face that WWE and Pro Wrestling in general is in an even better state then back in 2016.
Stop the cap. Wrestling is no where near the popularity it has during the attitude era. Wwe has only one thing going for it and that is the bloodline. Thats about it.
@@jimjaspers3050 because of inflation. Never believe anything wwe says. Wrestlemania was the highest grossing wrestlemania but definitely not the highest profits

I believe because of the media rights era we live in right now wrestling financials look great. But I still see a lot of empty arenas and the average person in the street more than likely won't be able to name 3 active wrestlers. The Attitude Era was just so unique and mainstream it had wrestlers from all 3 major promotions on TV Shows, Sporting Events, and movies. Everyone I knew including myself had either an NWO shirt, DX, 3:16, Rock, Y2J, ect even when I was in elementary that was thing to watch. Now as a parent I've never seen any of my kids or their classmates with wrestling tees on. Neither my kids or nephews ever seem interested in watching whenever I have it on. So to call this era a "boom" is quite a stretch. And they should be alarmed as their audience is only getting older every year. The average age of a WWE consumer is 53 as of 2023 and the data is not too hard to find. So this is just a boom for those living within the bubble.
I just look at WWE with youtube search based on google trend & it's still going down. How's that Booming? WWE UA-cam views are dead as hell even though they have 97.5m subscribers (even The Rock couldn't save it).
@gx1tar1er your using youtube views and clicks to say whether a business is booming or not? WWE is breaking records with every show their doing #1 trending on twitter basically every week. The most talent ridden era in wrestling history. Yes better than 1999-2001. You guys like Okada,Omega,Rhodes,Orton,Punk,Reigns,Rollins,Zayn,Moxley,Knight,Ospreay,AJ Styles and many more. Not to mention wrestling as a whole is just better and you legit cannot argue that. Women's wrestling is 1000x better than what it was the attitude era. And genuinely if we look at the attitude era as a whole it was very rocky. Examples being Over The Edge 1999,Mankind versus Rock "I Quit",Rock Bottom 1998. Those PPVs and moments were not very good or they were shock value. So yes wrestling is the biggest since 2001 and it's producing a better product than ever before. Yes it does not have a star like Austin or the Rock. But it is gaining more interest each and every week you cannot deny that fact.
I started watching wwe last year at Wm 38 and I got to say this past year and a half has been incredible I have become addicted watching almost every single raw and smack down just waiting to see what would happen next. I am sad I could see legends like taker and micheals but what I am getting is just magical and special I will always remember these years especially because of the bloodline. I just have to say thank you to HHH and every single wrestler putting their lives on the line for our entertainment.
@@PaulomogoloPAUL Celebrity actors won't have a tight schedule and can probably collab with WWE. In the case of former wrestlers turned actors in John Cena, Batista and The Rock, they'll have more time to appear on WWE television now.
Also yeah last line is accurate af, in 2019 i legit thought wwe was gonna go under within the decade. If you compare crowds in 2019 to crowds now, it is night and day. PPV crowds in 2019 were quieter than Raw or Smackdown crowds in 2023 half the time. Hell, just compare the crowd for the main event of mania 35 to the crowd for the main event of mania 39.
We just got two classic tag team matches on free TV from FTR and Bullet Club Gold, we just got insane drama and masterful segments on Smackdown from the bloodline, we just got MITB in London, we're about to get All In in Wembley, LA Knight is on fire, Moxley's bleeding (ok, that one was a joke), MJF and Adam Cole are the best, fucking Alpha Academy is enjoyable. What a time to be alive!!!
I swear people will say that wrestling is booming again, but they only ever mention AEW & WWE. Mention other promotions around the WORLD! WWE & AEW aren’t the only promotions that exist.
A second golden age for sure. Storylines matter and there’s interwoven ones as well. Our time invested feels like it matters and there hasn’t been so much constant changes from guys hating each other one week to forgetting what even happened the next
Glad someone spoke it, 5 10 yrs down the line when it again gets stale people will get nostalgic and talk about remeber when bloodline used to dominate, AEW was banging with good shows and PPVs. Also they'll talk about Roman and his reign like Hulk Hoganesque buisness shifting era. No matter what people say about his promos or matches, man is selling merch, putting people in seats, adds 500k viwevers when he turns up made Zayn, Jey, KO, Solo stars. Gave Cody a worthy story and when he losses that's gonna be monumental 🎉
The fact that tv ratings go up by 400k or 500k when theres a bloodline segment on tv is just INSANE. The biggest jump in wrestling history was when WCW spoiled Mankind winning the title, plus Austin running out. It jumped 650k viewers, including help from WCW fans jumping ship. The fact that the Bloodline segments are getting even close to that is inSANE. I think we can legitimately say that Roman is finally doing prime Cena numbers tbh. Hes not on the star power level of Cena yet, but if his career keeps with this momentum, he'll be as mainstream as Rock and Cena by the time he retires.
@@cerebralassassin117 Roman is the core part of that story, it isn't a coincidence that when Roman doesn't show up, ratings don't go that much up even with the rest of the bloodline being there. He is the focal point of the whole Bloodline story, it rides off him.

I'm so glad to see where the WWE is at now. I'm glad to see how dedicated their fanbase is. Like many, I grew up with the WWE. And while it's still not what it used to be, and while I still have trouble watching on a consistent basis, I have to admit the ppv's are bangers. I'm able to keep up with the current storylines and it's easy to say the Bloodline is entertaining as hell, Cody vs. Brock feels very special, and it's just really great to watch when the WWE is at it's best. We must enjoy it while we can, fellas. Let's not take it for granted
The fans win the most with the biggest companies all putting out great stories and moments. You got WWE, when the bloodline started getting stale the civil war started, ppvs feel like a big deal, storylines are more important, and you have Gable, Knight, and Gunther getting super over. And AEW, binging back CM Punk, showcasing different wrestling styles, Omega, FTR and Danielson putting on these various legendary matches. It is a great time to be a wrestling fan, and it doesn't matter if you only like one brand or both, we all get some great entertainment.

Tbh I still can't get into modern WWE or any wrestling for that matter. I just don't feel the same connections to the wrestlers like I did for Cena, HBK, Triple H etc.. I really want to like it but I just can't :(
Different styles. Back then our wrestlers use to sell way more everyone felt way more unique and they had more freedom on the mic. This era the production is crisp too quality almost everyone is skilled in the ring
Ive said this for years. There will never be a shortage of Professional Wrestlers at all. The wrestling has evolved for the better in the ring only thing that is the problem is kayfabe but that will come back too I feel
I really don’t understand why wrestling fans fight over which company is better they both produce amazing products and have amazing talent. If you don’t like one product don’t watch it and let the people who do enjoy the product enjoy it. Pillana productions is a huge example of this because he just hates everything about aew and the fans, Just let the people enjoy the product and leave them alone

I couldn't agree more with this sentiment.

I agree. Cody & Seth are great babyfaces, Bloodline storyline is fantastic, and the PPVs have been bangers.

"So screw all that tribalism shit. So let's all appreciate how good we have it now." Well said, Pav! It's good to see there's two wrestling companies thriving. Neither are perfect and have major flaws. But flaws aren't always bad as the good things is why wrestling is thriving. I'd actually love to see a 3rd or even 4th company become major one day. like you could say you like WWE, and someone who super duper prefers AEW is like "that's not REALLY pro wrestling, it's just sports entertainment" or something like that idk. and vice versa, if a WWE fan tried to tell you that all that high-flying and whatever isn't real wrestling.
hopefully that made sense!

NXT black and gold was in peak form, and omega and bullet club were establishing themselves in New Japan. Match quality throughout the business improved tremendously during this time and has evolved to a level i honestly never thought wrestling could reach. Wrestling really is big right now alot of my friends returned to watch wwe especially when reigns turned heel in 2020 with the pandemic and then rhodes returned
Pretty ironic that WWE is "PG" yet their fanbase is 53 lol not even teenagers or young adults or kids.
A second golden age for sure. Storylines matter and there’s interwoven ones as well. Our time invested feels like it matters and there hasn’t been so much constant changes from guys hating each other one week to forgetting what even happened the next
I thought wrestling boom started since John Cena Bing Chilling and The Rock Memes
It isn't really reigns doing it rather than the story drawing people tbh. Without the story i doubt people would care.
@@cerebralassassin117
Roman is the core part of that story, it isn't a coincidence that when Roman doesn't show up, ratings don't go that much up even with the rest of the bloodline being there. He is the focal point of the whole Bloodline story, it rides off him.
@@cerebralassassin117 No Roman, no bloodline. His scheduled title defenses alone (Even the clean ones) will always outdraw any others episodes/Pay-Per-Views where he isn't included. People definitely cares about Roman Reigns, like you.
@@cerebralassassin117 haha 2017 called and wants it's blind Roman hate back immediately
3x times this year they’ve done 500k+ from Average
I was saying this to a few friends recently. The product has been outstanding. Ive been watching for 25 years and since Mania 2022, this has been one of my favourite eras.
I’m sorry but WWE still not as good as it was in the mid 2000s when john cena was the face of the company ratings were still higher back then
I saw a dude wearing a honourary Uso shirt at the grocery store. And it put such a smile on my face. I’ve seen more wrestling shirts in the past year out in public than I ever have my entire life
It is and I agree the kids nowadays gonna look back like this is the. Attitude/ruthless aggression era to them there gonna think wow this is the best and it’s gonna be the same and for decades and many people will agree because they have WWE inpact and aew like the attitude era with wwf ecw and wcw and njpw is i think at its peek! Because AEW helps it with forbidden door and mixed ppvs
Interesting never thought of it like that. But instead of impact it’s gonna be njpw as one of the big 3
@@pleaseshutup7053true forgot them one sec
I remember being in the library at my school and hearing a group of people talking about Logan Paul against Roman Reigns after it happened and it was such a nice thing to see
Tbh I still can't get into modern WWE or any wrestling for that matter.
Get other hobbies
Blame social media
I understand
I like what WWE and New Japan are doing now, but it's nothing like WWE in the 2000's or New Japan in the 2010's
It's all different now.
Ive said this for years. There will never be a shortage of Professional Wrestlers at all. The wrestling has evolved for the better in the ring only thing that is the problem is kayfabe but that will come back too I feel
Post-pandemic wrestling has been pretty damn awesome
agreed
You know wrestlings good when pav says " what a time it is to be alive "
I’m glad that pro-wrestling is doing so well. When there are more options that are succeeding, we as fans are succeeding
I can agree I just bought the priority pass for wrestlemania 40 and I’m so excited good to see the business boomin
I really don’t understand why wrestling fans fight over which company is better they both produce amazing products and have amazing talent. If you don’t like one product don’t watch it and let the people who do enjoy the product enjoy it. Pillana productions is a huge example of this because he just hates everything about aew and the fans,
Just let the people enjoy the product and leave them alone
Great video man!
I'm maexican and lucha libre its part of our culture, and i can't agree more than that, now more than ever even in our companies we are constantly having international stars, and great matches, what a great time to be alive.
Wrestling doesn't need romance, it doesn't need swerves, it doesn't need flips and superkicks. Wrestling needs real people having real matches about real problems.
It does need all of thar
*that
@@Countrydemonit doesn't
@@marcel0233 what “doesn’t” we are in a boom period more merchandise, sales tickets, sales and viewerships we are in a boom period except it and stop complaining
@@Countrydemoni don't see anyone giving a shit about wrestling except for you delusional people, get a grip and stop living in a fantasy world because wrestling is still dead, and it will remain that way
The entire 2010’s were unwatchable, I can not believe we’re here now! Judgement day & the bloodline are each carrying their brands
The wrestling news sites ruined the business because it lost the element of surprise
Social media ruined wrestling
Bruh, thank you.
You have no idea what a headache it is trying to be hyped up for a show, only for some fuck-ass "journalist" to ruin it all by posting spoilers in the damn thumbnail
To add about how merch has been up and higher than the '90s boom, a lot of the merch designs as well have been pretty good/great as well. Think back to that time period of 2017-19 and how more miss than hit merch was. Now, most of the time, merch actually looks like something you would want to wear.
The merch boom is probably because they're much more world wide now.
Thanks to hhh for taking over the creative and now every guy every championship feels like a main even for example tag titles they feel so important and there was a time when nobody gives a shit about tag team
Aah man great times are back after 20 years
According to me 2017-18 were way better than 2012-13. The rise started with breakup of shield till 2016. In 2019 WWE faced another decline after reacting to the negative comments of the smarks who watch njpw and thrashes WWE just to look cool. After 2020 they again believed on themselves and we can see the results.
