you are correct. The members of Voctave met each other while performing for Disney's "Voices of Freedom" at Disney World.
Notice how, as the princesses progress from older movies to newer movies, their voices gradually get lower and sound more modern.

You should totally check out Voctave's Disney 90's Medley. The group is comprised of current and former members of Voice Of Liberty, the group that sings at EPCOT in Disney World. Voctave is starting to tour a bit more so keep an eye out on their website. If ya wanna get more into A Cappella music I recommend The Real Group, a Swedish vocal group that's been around since the 80s. Some great songs of theirs are Acappella In Acapulco, Gota, Are You Coming To Me, I Sing You Sing, and Chili Con Carne.

Voctave is one of the first acapella groups. They've worked with a plethora amounts of movies and have an amazing following. The acapella groups that are more popular today have sampled from them first. Love Voctave!!
