- Voctave! I must say!! This was incredible.
I'm sooo impressed with their vocal abilities. What a harmony.

Love you,
Sabina
Do you want to hear the angels from above? Listen to Voctave! Truly touched by the mighty hands of God!!
I always enjoy first time Voctave reactors to this performance. Thank you.
My great pleasure!!
The man second from the left in the dark blazer and the blue tee-shirt with the white stripe is the wonderful Jamey Ray. He founded Voctave and arranges all of their music.
I heard that the members are given the music in advance and practice by themselves. They get together for a final run-through and then record all of it in just a few days.
Most Voctave are former or present members of Voices of Liberty who sing at the American Pavillion in EPCOT at WDW.
You should listen to their "Great Movie Medley" of John Williams movie scores. Even if you don't do a reaction it is worth your time.
Thank you for an honest, solid reaction.
loved the comments on the screen while you watched and then spoke about it. i have so many videos that i want people to react to like this.
I saw them live last year right before the pandemic, and they were absolutely stunning!
Wow!! That must have been amazing..!
Ooh, I envy you! Would love to see Voctave live!
Lucky you are.
As a long-time Voctave fan, I really enjoyed your reaction. Yes, they are superb. I love to watch various reaction channels when they first discover what not only top-level singing can do, but also what emotional response top-level arranging can generate. Jamey Ray is the founder and arranger for Voctave (second singer from the left in this video) and is known as one of the best vocal arrangers in the world. He has pointed out in interviews that he writes music personally for each of these individual singers, not just a general arrangement for a choral group. One thing I especially liked about your reaction was your taking time to put your comments in text within this video instead of interrupting the music and your response by breaking it up with chat. I could see that you took the time and effort to reflect on what you experienced before commenting. Brava! Thanks. /RayK
Voctave is in a class of their own ... You will love getting into their music
They are!!!
This was almost too much for my Disney loving heart. I teared up the first time I heard this. You are talking to someone wholeheartedly believes in the lyrics to Colors of the Wind. That's my entire life philosophy in a song. Hearing it incorporated into this medley made me cry happy tears. Thank you so much for reacting to this, Sabina. 💜
I feel you, Megan!! ❤️ It also hit me hard 😂❤️
These songs are just amazing and I’m glad you also had a great experience! Lots of love
@@sabina1118 Thank you, sweetheart. Hope you're doing well. 💜🙏
@@DiamondHeartMatrix I am ❤️🤗

Hi Sabina, 1st time viewer and I must say that I loved the fact that you didn't feel the need to interrupt every 30 seconds. It appears that you are more of a fan than a technical lady and that's nice. I'd recommend more of Voctave, Lucy Thomas and "O Holy Night" by David Phelps. Look forward to viewing more of your videos. Have a good day. 😊😊
My pregnant self got emotional and started to cry coz it was just perfect. Plus i'm a sucker for disney and always will be even when i'm 100. 🤣🤣😍😍😍😍
So many great a capella groups out there and Voctave is among the best of the best. They're just incredible with everything they do.
I agree they sound like a 1000 singers. Beautiful voices and I a Disney nerd any way. So I am biased. Thanks for this reaction to a most incredible performance. Love them.
My great pleasure 😍🥳
Loved watching your reaction, you became misty eyed almost immediately. I get chills every time I hear them. Their ensemble work is amoung the best. I recommend them to my fellow instrumentalists to hear how to balance, to give direction to both melodic and harmonic line.
Thanks!! And yes - they perfect that! 😍🥳
I loved watching your face as they took you through their musical journey. I especially enjoy watching reviewers get to the point where they quit analyzing and just give in to the beauty and emotion of the music.
Absolutely loved your reaction and comments.
Thank you so much 😁❤️
Thank you so much for figuring out a good way to react to these videos without interrupting them every two seconds.... Just subscribed!
Thanks and welcome! 🤲🏻❣️
Great reaction! Your micro-expressions are as fun to watch as the spectacular performance!
Voctave collaborated with Kirstin Maldonado & Jeremy Michael Lewis for a "Disney Love Medley" if you want another magical Disney acapella medley.
Pretty much impossible to go wrong with anything Voctave does, or Home Free or Pentatonix if you're fond of modern acapella performances.
Thanks . I have noted that 😍
I absolutely love how your commentary is on screen instead of aloud! I get the value of pausing and breaking it down, but it pains me so much when such a masterpiece is interrupted; there's such value in the way they arranged the songs, to me, pausing it really makes it harder to perceive that value.
✌️😊
Loved the reaction. Hope you do more Vocatve :)
Thanks a lot 😍 I prob will. They blew me away.
One of the prettiest faces in the world...
Wow. Hit me inside. Wonderful.
Voctave is such breathtaking group! Please react to more of their work, they are incredible! I also love the way you do your reactions with the subtitles, so I would love to see more of that combined with the art that is Voctave!
Beautiful!!!
Yes 😍😍
Love your passion for music.
Definitely listen to their great movie medley
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Voctave is the gold standard for a capella.
Yes..!!!
what a great reaction! loved watching your eyes/facial expression! So many great Voctave performances to experience! I like "Impossible Dream", "Mary Did You Know", "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "The Great Movie Medley".... enjoy!
Damn. Just....DAMN! 😱 ALL THE FEELS! 😭 💜
Love you, Sabi!
Yes it’s incredible!!! Lots of love 😍
Wow!! ❤️
Yes right!!
I love Voctave! All their performances are spectacular!!
If you like The Prince of Egypt, you might want to check out their medley of that! :)
Uhhh love POE!! Thanks 😍
@@sabina1118 YESSS please watch their Prince of Egypt medley. It's amazing!

perfection !!!!
Yes!
This is soooo gorgeous ❤❤❤
Yes, right?? 😍
Voctave is /so/ good, and good grief Kate Lott in particular. I've heard other people sing that high, but she's the only one who can bring that sort of subtle control into octave 6.
I highly recommend Voctave's collaboration with Mark Lowry on "Mary, Did You Know?" - it's still (to me) the single most beautiful thing they've done, and also the most impressive. Incredible.
Yo definitely have to look at more Voctave! One of their songs/covers I suggest is "O Come, All Ye Faithful"! Also "Disney Love Medley"!!!
Noted 😍
Sabina...thanks for your wonderful reaction, it was a joy to watch you. Yeah, Voctave is something else. I love this medley (what's not to love). If you like the song "Mary Did You Know" try watching Vocatve featuring Mark Lowry (he wrote it). 🤗
До мурашек!) Это прекрасно!
Voctave is my favorite group. Pentatonix and Home Free are great too. Voctave has great Christmas music too.
Thanks, thats noted 🤗
Voice Play is another great a capella group and Peter Hollens does many a capalla solos (with his own harmonies) and often features other artists. I really enjoy Voice Play and Peter Hollens as well as Voctave, Pentatonix, and Home Free.
I really enjoyed your reaction and your insights on harmony singing. If you want a couple more Voctave tunes to review, give a listen to their Disney Showstoppers, which features several of the male voices, or their Disney Love Medley, which features Kirstin Maldonado of Pentatonix. Their covers of This is My Wish/Let There Be Peace on Earth, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and Impossible Dream are incredible. You really can't go wrong with any of their stuff!!!
Another a cappella rabbit hole for you to go down; another group with great harmonies: *Home Free.* Country rooted, but, they cover so much more sprinkling in a few originals as well! They competed in, and won, the same competition as PTX the following season.
What's not to love? 💖💙🔥
Everybody was having fun for this shoot. It sounded like Ariel showed up that morning.
Do you know what the Art Dealer used to sing in her office?
"Someday my Prints will come"
LoL.
Love you Sabina!
Hahaha Thanks for the laugh 🥳😍 love you!
@@sabina1118 Thank you for the lovely comment on my video yesterday. I left a question in my reply.
Love you.
One of the fastest "meltdowns " in "Voctave" Reaction History !
Hope you will look up 2 vocalists i truly love. Lucy Thomas from England. Shes 19 or 20 and sounds like an angel. David Phelps is probably the top tenor living today. He did a rendition of "O Holy Night" that will have you in awe----that's a promise 😊😊😊
Haven't listened to such a kind of song in a long time - wholesome performance, as you said such breadth in terms of it sounding like a 1000 people, as well as vocal range, lyrics great, I agree with all of it. Because I had the memory of Little Mermaid in my mind, when you said 'a capellic' I thought of an archipelago, as in "archipelagic" (which in my native language would be more like "archipelic" ("archipelisch"), so I misheard that for a sec) :D btw, you surely know that, but your earrings really go nicely with your eyes - both golden ambery :) Well, have a nice day - I love you, bye! *robotic* :D
Aaah I see!! 🤣🤗 And Thanks! Never thought of that before 😊 Lots of love - btw: robotic? 🥳
@@sabina1118 You and Henri once said it at the same time and then you said you just sounded like a robot :D which you did because your voices kind of harmonized together in funny way 🤗 update: found it :D ua-cam.com/video/jWmxe9s93qw/v-deo.html
Ahhh!! 😍😂 Now I understand. Haha, Thanks for the laugh ❤️

HI Sabina, I know you would like Voctave and I think that you are the person who should comment on A Capella group because you sing A Capella. You know the x's and o's of A Capella and how hard it is. This group is from the Orlando, Florida (USA) area and many of them performed at Disney World before this group. The leader and arranger is the gentleman on the left in the middle. His name is Jamie Rays and personally think he is incredibly talented to come up with these arrangements. He teaches at a small college in the Orlando area called Rollins college and I will guess that this was shot there. Voctave has also done some songs with some of the people in Pentatonix. There is a Disney Medley that Kristen of Pentatonix does with Voctave and it is equally insanely good. The only big A Capella group you haven't done yet is Home Free and I would very very surprise if you did not like them also. Like Pentatonix, they have one of those beat boxers that can mimic a drum kit. Home Free is a bit more country than Pentatinox . I do not think there is a copyright problem with Home Free like there is with Pentatonix from what seem to be apparent. You should pick one of their songs and do a reaction video. Many are very very good. BTW, Pentatonix has a 90's dance medley and you and Henri should listen to it and perhaps do a review on your patron page. It is insane . Thanks Sabina, We love you. With love from Florida ua-cam.com/video/57YEAEKKcOk/v-deo.html
I grew up in Orlando and know Rollins College! What a great asset for Rollins Jamie is!
Second the nomination for Home Free. They do many "country" songs (I'm a huge Home Free fan and don't like country music) but they also do many other genres as well. From Home Free, recommend "Man of Constant Sorrow" (more country), "How Great Thou Art" (don't have to be a Christian to love this, the music is spectacular and the scenery--shot in the Austrian Alps--is spectacular), and "Never Gonna Give You Up" (which they sang beautifully but had a lot of fun with and it's hilarious--80's pop song). "When a Man Loves a Woman" is another great one from Home Free.
You need to check out their cover of let there be peace on earth!!!!!!!
WOW!!
Yes! 😍
Sabina, the high soprano is Kate Lott. She is angelic
My dear Sab, you’ll definitely have to listen to the Disney love medley with Voctave and Kirstin Maldonado from Pentatonix : absolutely stunning !! And I read that you’ll hear some Epica’s 🤩! Prepare your journey coz Simone has nothing to be ashamed of vs Floor : simply mesmerizing and gorgeous ! Can’t wait 🥰😘!!
Noted! Thanks! ❤️😍🔥
That sounds promising. Nice to hear from you again - hope everything is good!! Hugs!
Wonderful reaction. For your information many of Voctave's members sing for Disney in groups like the Daper Dan's and voices of liberty that actually sing at the Disney world in Orlando. They don't have a bad song in the bunch.
Thanks! wow thanks for sharing 😍
Two of my Voctave favourites: Moana - How far i'll go (best version ever) and 'O come all ye faithful' (rather for christmas time, but with a stunning tenor solo (Dimash level ;) )
I recognize the first two songs, the others are not, but they are great.
I see! And yes they really are! :D
if you love disney medleys listen to the 3 dutch sisters from Og3ne doing a disney medley during home isolation.
Thanks!!! that's noted 😍

At one point Kate(1st Sop) sings F6. She attacks right on it, no work up, just high F and hold. Who does that? Amazing!
And beautifully, with perfect control, In. The. Background.
Who does that? Kate Lott. Literally never heard anyone else do that.
This it the girls in order and there voice type

Tiffany Soprano 2
Sarah Alto 1
Ashley Soprano/Alto
Crystal Alto 2
