No shade to that vintage shop that you first went to but as somebody who specializes in fashion history and accessories I laughed out loud when I saw the embroidered purse labeled at 1800s. That absolutely is no earlier than 1930s and it's most likely from the mid 1940s. 😅 And that price woo doggy that's nuts. I wish places like this would hire somebody like me to just go over their stock and help them label and price things more appropriately ever few months.

I’m pretty sure there’s a personality type that is known for that (pretty sure it’s mine) eg. someone says “happy birthday” and we automatically say, “thanks, you too” and the next second we hear the windows reboot chime in our brains 😂

OMG they made a computer game of the book Madeline that this just made me remember, you would go on all these adventures and make chocolate and ride a flying carpet I was obsessed. probably the year 2002. A couple months ago the Petz game nostalgia hit me like a TRUCK and my boyfriend helped me download a copy of Petz 5 onto my computer. It has been 10/10 GREAT VIBES since.

My very favorite childhood toy was a Japanese doll that came with three different Kabuki wigs. My sister (who was a Navy nurse during Vietnam)bought it for me on shore leave in Japan and sent it all the way to Cleveland. And that is how old some of your viewers are!

Man I do remember Dogz and Catz, my friend had both on her computer and I remember us playing all the time whenever I'd go over to her house for sleepovers.
Not a rare game by all means but I remember being absolutely OBSESSED with the Sims as a kid. I would have to place a clock next to me when I started playing because I would completely loose track of time in real life 😅

Y'all are so young. Pre-videogame, I used to play Dark Shadows with my sister and friends when I was that age. We would throw on one of my mom's flannel nightgown with ruffles and lace for a makeshift colonial costume. I always played Angelique. Ask your grandma!

I completely forgot about cats 2 but I was obsessed!!! In 1996, I was 9 and I spent so much time playing with this game. I also played a lot to Pandemonium (a platform PC game) with a Jester and a magician girl. And in 1997, I spent too many time composing music on Rave Ejay.
the Catz and Dogz tee shirt was nostalgic for me, because my daughter was crazy about that game as a very young child :)

Me and my cousin used to play Catz at my grandma's. I loved it so much back then.
Me and my sisters used to get up as soon as we were allowed and race downstairs to use the computer to play the build a bear game where you and your bear (or cat in my case) would just wander around the town and play games and go to the bank abd upgrade your house and hang out lol. I distinctly remember getting a motorbike and a garage and feeling like the coolest kid in town aha
I had Dogz. I still have the game kept in the vain hope I could one day revive my dog Brown who roamed around on my desktop for several years. I remember when I innocently updated my OS not knowing Dogz would no longer run and the developers were not going to update. It was the digital equivalent of accidentally running over your pet. Thanks for the memory.

Vacation used to be in the dystopian Tenderloin I find the owners a little weird, but they basically got ran out of that district because of the looters and kleptomaniacs

Me and my bff played zoo tycoon on her home computer. We would let the animals out to terrorize the park goers. Also Kathleen I work at coach so if you need to know when a bag was made I could totally check the database 👩💻

Did anyone else play Someone's In The Kitchen? It was one of the best cooking games of all time and you got to taste test your stuff on the dog. My brother and I were obsessed.

The year was 1992 and I used to play a game that came on a floppy disc called Math Rescue. It sounds so lame but for reasons unknown it became my favorite. No one I've ever talked to has heard of it unfortunately. Between that and playing the Where in the world is Carmen San Diego computer game I was all set lol. Dang I miss the 90s.
I bought a 70’s couch and chair because they gave me nostalgic vibes from when family members owned the same couch and chair. I’ve had a few eye brow raises as it not not everyone’s taste but it also appears cozy to me. Was thrifted and not expensive but comfy.

The computer games I played in the 90s were Fisher Price Dream Dollhouse, Barbie (Runway?), I Can Be An Animal Doctor, and Magic School Bus Dinosaurs. Please tell me I’m not alone! 😂 My sister and I still reference the Australian accents and phrases from I Can Be An Animal Doctor on the regular! 😊
