    About Market Farmer Keith:
    Keith is a successful market farmer utilizing techniques suited for small plot intensive vegetable production known as Market Gardening. This year we are massively expanding our operation adding 65+ new beds, a 30'x48' high tunnel, and 2 caterpillar tunnels. This season we will have around 100, 40 ft long, beds 30" wide which come out to about 1/2 acre of area or 10,000 sqft of bed space under production. With this we will harvest around 200-300 lb of produce a week that we sell to local restaurants and at our many farmers market. Our goal is to share the tools and techniques required to farm naturally on a budget with the troublesome insects and weather conditions across the US.

    THIS was what I was trying to figure out in a small scale so that eventually I could scale it up larger. Thank you! And that new building is awesome.

      Remember to keep your data. All crop plans differ a lot by region. Mine does not work every year.

    Have you made these excel documents available for purchase yet? I saw you had some field management ones available on your website but I didn't see the crop planning documents. Thanks.

    Hi! what do you have in your spring mix? is it seeded? thanks

    • @farmerkeith
      @farmerkeith  2 роки тому

      The Brassica mix is 1 part RR Kale, 1 part Red and green Mustard. This is mixed 50/50-ish with leaf lettuce to make spring mix. We do not mix it with the lettuce anymore because the Brassica mix has less of a shelf life than the lettuce.

    Keith, are those crop plans open field, or in hoop house?
