Those are nuts that you took off those are not bolts, also, since I am truly OCD, I would’ve run the wires inside the body panel instead of through the weather seal
The link takes you to a different tail light. What you put on looks easier to install & appears to have a better fit. What lights did you put below the bumper? They look great with the tail light you installed.
Thats odd I just clicked on the link myself and it took me to the correct lights… it’s the Tesla Model Y/3 Full-Width Tail Light New Style Rear Brake Turn Signal Lights The other lights your asking about are the rear bumper tail/ indicator lights they are super simple to install as well, here is the direct link to them www.hautopart.com/products/model-3-y-rear-bumper-tail-light you can also use the same discount code to save 23% on those too… on anything on their website really.
@ I have no idea what was going on yesterday but the link worked fine today🙃 Thanks for the link to the other lights! Definitely plan to do this when the weather breaks.
It is an excellent video, and after watching it, I feel confident enough to complete the installation on my own. I will utilize your coupon code to order one taillight. Thank you.
Hopefully he does a short update video showing it off since now it's installed so should be quick and easy. This video was great quality and top tier so no doubt he'll be able to do it
Theres no way you ran the wire on the outside under the weather stripping… and into the door frame. Instead of inside and through the boot properly. And have the audacity to call it clean and professional. Thats insane work 🥲 its like a walmart special diy system level of work.
My thoughts exactly. What's so hard to run them thru the inside of the plastic panels and headliner and take them thru the grommet he had to remove anyways?
So it’s the FPL evolution charger. It was installed and given to my by my electric company they have a unlimited off peak charging deal for $31 a month and they install all the equipment for you
Please, please, please do NOT guide them thru the seal like he did. The cables are meant to go thru the INSIDE of the plastic panels and headliner and snaked thru the grommet. The seal should not be bulged by cables nor anything. This can lead to humidity concentration or an improper seal of the hatch.
This looks better than the Juniper version
Use a pump suction cup tool to evenly pull those tail lights out.

How can you not show what the taillight looks like after installation? I had to go to another page to see what it looks like. 😕
Honestly your absolutely right I should have showcased the light more after the install… thanks for watching and for the feedback!
