Hi sweet friends!!! Today I'm sharing 4 techniques for achieving the aged, antique vessel effect. Instead of the high priced RH, Pottery Barn vessels, we're make inexpensive dupes with thrifted, dollar tree and old decor pieces!!! These faux antiques are easy and so much fun to create.

It's so hard to pick a favorite...they all looked at least as good as the original. The plate dupe, I thought, was better than the original, ditto the "cement" bowl. Thank you so much for sharing these!

Beautiful pottery! Thank you for sharing the word of God and praying for us. My twin sister is having hip replacement surgery on the 20th of July. Would you keep her in prayer and anyone else that would pray for her surgery to go as planned and relieve her pain. This is her 2nd hip surgery....I myself have had both of mine replaced a few years ago. Thank you and God bless you!

I absolutely love these my only positive criticism would be to remove the sticker from the bottom of the bowl and to put the spackle on the bottom too.
All three projects have amazing results. And truly, I think your copies are better looking that the store-bought, especially the circular dish from Hobby Lobby.

It looks like you had a lot of fun coming up with these ideas. I think transforming pieces into your own is a great way to save money but show your talent for what you want into your own decor.

I love what you did. I never knew it was so simple to create decorative pieces. I purchased my 1st home and haven't decorated because everything is SOOOOO expensive that I like, so I was doing it a piece at a time. You hand showed me I can do it myself and get the look at a fraction on the price!!! I'm definently trying this. I love what you did!

You know I like the inspirational diy's compared to originals!! Really, I love those so much more! Thank you for your ideas and artistic techniques which I may say again, prefer than the original!pieces!! I dabble artistically myself and I just feed off genuine 💯 artistic people that I can still learn from! What a treat, what a gift!!
Wow great crafting techniques Amy. I like them all but do like the concrete effect on the last bowl. I really liked the first vase as well. I can't find anywhere to buy chalk paint where I live in the UK, perhaps Amazon sell it. I have stippled ordinary white paint onto containers before I decoupage them and like that effect.
