I've watched a ton of pot DIYs but nothing prepared me for the for this! I saw the pink plastic pot n thought "no hell way! No were have I seen pink plastic pot redone" ... This was amazing!
Love how you aged these! Most people don’t use coffee and what a great idea! Also love the aged copper look. Very creative. Pinned this video on Pinterest so I don’t forget. Thank you!
Excellent ideas and great color and textures. However, I'd have loved more detail on the colors and techniques used because all the vases started in different colors and textures.
Your pots are amazing! I’ve watched many tutorials on making new pots look old but your ideas are a bit different. Really like them a lot. Can you tell me how sturdy that largest (pink) pot is now? I mean, could I put a faux olive tree in it? Or could I plant a tree in it? Thanks for sharing.👍🏼👏👏👏👏🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Currently I have a faux tree in it that's just under 5 foot tall and I plan to put a taller faux tree in it Soon, so it's pretty sturdy. I suppose if you're worried about it you could add some weight to the bottom of it, like cement or stones.. I'm sure it could hold a real (reasonably sized) tree aswell
If the vase is plastic, it can help to give it a sanding, but other materials should be OK. I've never used Primer on any of my vases, but it could potentially help with the plastic vase to give some extra grip.
LOVE these!!!! I volunteer at a thrift shop every week (my local Council on Againg has a great little thrift shop run by volunteers & ALL proceeds go to the COA center, been there 11 yrs now every week & love it!) and ONE thing we ALWAYS have an overabundance of is plain, boring, &/or outdated vases! I never really know QUITE what I can do with them, but because they are SO cheap bc we get SOOO many, lol, Im ALWAYS looking for a cool way to update them and re-sell them in my booth at a local antique mall! I think I found a good way to do that! Ill def be looking next Tues when its my day to work! Thanks! Also, lol, you are QUITE BRAVE to wear WHITE while doing this, lol!! When you broke out the coffee AND mud!!!! I was like Ohhhhhhhh, she's BRAVE wearing white, hahaha!! I had to pause and comment! Id have absolutely splattered mud, coffee AND paint all over myself BECAUSE I was wearing white, lol!!!
😂 I'm always wearing white t-shirts without realizing and then ruining them! But because of that I now have plenty of diy tshirts haha. The work you do sounds incredible. Have fun recreating the old vases.
These are absolutely BRILLIANT ❤ Your creativity is beautiful. Our styles much alike. Thank you for sharing your fabulous video. I’ve subscribed OF COURSE❤cat x
привет, the first layer is regular spray paint that I used to cover some of the vases. I used regular household paint on vases that I didn't spray paint . this gave them a nice undercoat colour.
You did like a pro .Good job.

Lovely!!! Is it possible to use the Pink plastic on a plastic vessel?
Do you mean to attach another vessel onto it?
HI! Can I please know what type of paint you used for the copper patina vases?
I mixed acrylic gold metallic paint with orange and brown until I got a shade that I was happy with. (The metallic gold gave it a nice copper shimmer)
❤️❤️❤️
Do you have to sand or prime the vases first ? Or is the bicarb and paint enough to adhere ?
If the vase is plastic, it can help to give it a sanding, but other materials should be OK. I've never used Primer on any of my vases, but it could potentially help with the plastic vase to give some extra grip.
Bicarbonate soda AKA baking soda LOL 😂

What type of paint do you use?
I used whatever paints I had at home, so mainly regular wall paint (latex paint). Hope this helps.

Прекрасные работы. Скажите, а первый слой, что это? Чем покрываете?

Did you spray vinegar???
Yes, I sprayed vinegar just before the pait had completely dried and then began brushing it off.
ما نوع الدهانات المستخدمه بالمصري
I used a mixture of latex paints (paints normally used on Wall's) and acrylic paints. I basically used whatever I had at home.
