    As a single woman in her 40s, I sadly feel what she might have been feeling. It’s a lonely place to be and a woman’s self-esteem and self-value are so low at this stage, it’s easy to fall prey to users and abusers (and apparently even killers). It’s a tragedy because she was successful and pretty. She could have found someone worthy of her had she only realized she deserved better.

    When he first called her asking her to bail him out she didn't have to explain herself in terms of her finances and whether she had collateral or not. All she needed to say was i cant help you, so long, Oh and don't contact me anymore. But she didn't do that and now she is dead.

    I've never understood why some women feel the need and want to fix grown men. Getting into a relationship where the person isn't self-sufficient is a recipe for disaster. You should build a life together not fix the other persons problems

      They weren't plans, it was her list of rules like he was a child and no woman beater is going to follow that. She thought she had herself a young man who will sleep with her and follow her rules. She was unrealistic and had weird control issues. She was definitely out of her league on this one.       I'm glad you wrote that. I always wondered if love is something people think, or if it's something people do, or both. Even though my religion says a person doesn't do that if he loves the person, I doubt it's true. I think that hood loved drugs more than he loved his woman.
