I get the white dial in two days. Cant wait! As soon as I saw this watch I knew I needed to own it. Individual aspects of the watch are amazing, and the watch as an entire package is amazing. Well done Tissot!
@@antonioespino6734 love it! I come across a lot of other chronographs that I like that are more expensive and when I considering buying one of them I quickly realize that I like the Tissot more and I already have it. Why buy a watch that I don't like as much as this Tissot that will only take away wrist time from the Tissot? It has a lot of height, so I dont think I would wear it for a formal occasion, but it's great in every other scenario. It's my current every day watch in my two watch collection.
@@antonioespino6734 to summarize, it's a big watch with some height to it. The size and high design give it a lot of wrist presence--the good kind. It will probably save you from spending money on other chronographs; I know I'm not looking for another Chrono now that I own the Tissot.
Tissot definitely has a hit in their hands with this watch, and they can do a lot of different variations with this. I’m betting a skeleton openworked version of the 3 hand one will come out someday and a moon phase version as well but the chronograph’s will most likely get other dial variations. I’d definitely consider getting this or the cheaper 3 hand version, only complaint is the case and bracelet finishing isn’t that great from the pictures and videos of them. I’d rather these watches be $1000 then $650 for a better polished and satined steel finish to give these watches that luxury look. But either way these are incredible deals
Now Tissot pls make it 41mm and ditch the date window. I have a soft spot for symmetry and most probably you can differentiate this PRX chrono from AP RO n VC Overseas chrono by excluding the date. Who knows you guys can make it slimmer less than 14mm thickness. Thanks for the vid, man.
I’m not sure about them modifying the ETA 7753, as far as I know, they all have the date pusher at 10 o’clock. Only the 7750 has a dedicated crown position for that. Correct me if I’m wrong
Thank you Tissot for NOT listening to the no-daters, cause some of us actually will only buy a watch with a date wheel :) Ofcourse having it at 6 like the PRS 516 would have been nicer though.
This is a nice looking dressy Chronograph. 40mm case would have been perfect. That lug to lug is a bit too large however. Overall still a good move by Tissot and will still sell well.
Love the brushing on the blue and the effect it produces in that transition to a liquid black. Looks a lot like the dial finish on Mitch Mason Chronicle! Would love to consider this, but that effective lug-to-lug is just way too much for my skinny wrists... :(
Yes, very nice vertical brush on the dial, creates all kind of cool lightlplay. Thanks for watching, and tough luck on your wrist size, do you even lift 😅 - Andrew
@@Timeandtidewatches Cheers! Gave up on the lifting years ago man! Anyhow, plenty of 38mm and below options out there for me these days! It's a great time to be ungirthy! 🤣
@@Timeandtidewatches I get it, but putting the hole in the dial at the 6 o'clock position and adjusting the date wheel wouldn't be too hatd and it would really clean up the look
Its not a new movement, its the same "H31" variant of the 7750/7753 that was introduced in Hamilton and used across Swatch's entry level and mid tier brands. They did with the powermatic 80 as well. With all of their "special" movements, they are shared across all entry level and mid tier brands. I suspect this is to distinguish swatch group movements from 3rd parties using base ETA ebauches. The exception is Longines, who get a lot more love from papa swatch with actually exclusive movement skews.
Swatch group should just maximize appeal in every one of their brands. It seems simple and obvious, but I feel like they position their umbrella group in a way that sometimes doesn’t step on the toes or market share of another one of their brands offerings. They should just offer this in 37/38mm, vintage logo it, Stella, matte finishes, solid gold, etc. and do the same with longines and the like as well. They don’t need to tiptoe around each other. Make every brand as desirable as each other, don’t just let omega shine the brightest. Max out every brands prestige and offering capability. Don’t make some heritage heavy, some lacking in that, some forward looking, just have them all do everything as good as their respective houses have always done. The pie is big enough, this is the most annoying thing about large conglomerates.
The Bulova Lunar Pilot is still the best Chronograph for the price in the entire market. History, one of the most accurate movements on earth, change-able straps… I love me some Tissot. The v8 auto chrono is the best budget Swiss auto Chrono in the entire industry. This one is slightly out-priced by similar priced models from other companies. It’s sexy, it just isn’t the easy sell that the original PRX is…
Hmm, I think subjectivity plays a big part in this - aesthetics of this one has it outplaying similar priced models in our opinion, but again, it comes down to taste. We do agree it's sexy, there is that - Andrew
I have the Bulova Lunar Pilot & agree 100%! I’ve had mine for around 3 years & it’s accuracy is second to none! It was my stepping g stone to my so called grail watch, the Omega Speedy! I alternate these 2 occasionally & get that buzz from both.😎👍🏼
@@TheProductionKids1 Yep. I’m yet to change the battery after more than 3 years & it’s by far the most accurate watch I own. Read about the movement. Don’t be put off by it being quartz.

Very nice, but the dial seems a little lacking in refinement somehow. Maybe the indicies? Not sure. Still….nice watch.

Wish it loses the date window and become slimmer.
Should have left out the gold hands and on the white dialed panda. Would have been so much better IMO. Silver hands would have been perfect.
The date should have been where the PRX is. That's the only thing that's keeping me from buying this watch.

Very nice watch, however for $1700 it's too reminciet of of a seiko chronograph that retails for $395
